Unfortunately, I don't feel the experience matched what was promised when I signed up for training…read moreand nutrition coaching. Over the course of 3 months, I was asked to download an app for my programming with weekly exercises sent to me and the app was only updated once. I had understood it would be used weekly for exercise suggestions. When I asked about updates, I was told my trainer could give me some plans but suggested to "use ChatGPT," which felt dismissive given the high premium of the sessions. Communication also became inconsistent, including not hearing back after being told dates would be sent for my final two sessions. I also felt as if the nutrition coaching was very generalized rather than individualized to my goals and lifestyle. When discussing food, my trainer suggested getting a food scale and said he eats 3 chicken and veggies a day with protein shakes in the middle. I asked if he misses pizza and his response was "I like the way I look more than pizza" - I understand he's a body builder and that works for him but it didn't feel very valuable or personalized to me. I was also asked if I binge ate in the middle of a busy gym. I reached out twice to the customer service email but after 2 week haven't heard back. In general, the work outs with my trainer themselves were what I kept going back for, the sessions were great. My trainer and I set the intention that these sessions would be on the weekends and I would take what I learned, while using the programming from the app, and work out independently throughout the week and that part was where I felt the lacking. I also sent a list of every piece of equipment in my home gym to my trainer and we would not utilize these during our sessions together leaving me with a gap of knowledge to bring back with me. There are obviously a lot of success stories reading the other reviews, and I see the potential, my review is made mainly to give another lens - I looked over the website in case I was imagining what benefits were suppose to be present but the website seemed pretty clear Update: left a review and owner responded the an AI response saying to reach out - have sent multiple emails to both Westin and the customer service line over a month, but no response My trainer reached out after a month and a half and asked to schedule the last sessions about an hour after I one of my emails to Westin - stated I was hoping to get a refund, they said they'd let Westin know - a week later no response

I have been training with Lenora for a couple of months now and feel like the luckiest person in…read morethe world to have found her. I did a ton of research when l started looking for a personal trainer and interviewed several trainers in person. While they were all great in their own right, Lenora stood out among the rest. She has a solid education backing her training up and truly approaches it in a holistic way, which was exactly what I was looking for. So far she has helped me greatly! We are working through some postural issues I have and she is really great during every session making sure we are doing the right exercises to help strengthen and balance my body and changing something if it isn't working. Lenora really knows her stuff. She also helps me out nutritionally and is very educated in this as well. She makes workouts fun, but also kicks your a$$. She is very good at helping you learn to push yourself and cheering you on the whole way. She finds out what really motivates you and utilizes that in your sessions. She's firm, yet gentle and nurturing at the same time. Basically, she is amazing. She is changing my body, mind and spirit....my whole life! I will be continuing to work with her for a while. She is also guiding me through training for a 1/2 marathon. I have never been a runner, but with her help, I am becoming one...at age 34! I have also lost weight, toned up, gained confidence, etc. I HIGHLY recommend Lenora of Holistic Personal Training. You will not be sorry!

I am writing to strongly endorse my personal trainer, Lenora Lemke. I met Lenora when I was…read moredetermined to establish a consistent exercise routine and healthy lifestyle. She has helped me achieve those goals and MUCH MORE. She used her training as a therapist to guide me through a time when I was in a toxic unsafe work environment and trying to keep depression at bay. She used her body understanding to help me get my body structurally aligned. She used her training in nutrition to assess my specific needs and advise me. I could text her a nutrition question and know her answers were based on the latest research! On top of all her technical skills, she is one of the kindest, high integrity people I know. Anyone would benefit from working with and knowing Lenora. Although she has moved across the country, I still have a weekly check in with Lenora that helps me to keep on track. Her advice is always spot on!

I've been a member at this location for over a year now. I prefer Life Time to L.A. Fitness. I…read morenormally go late morning for yoga. I usually see the elderly present or moms with kids. I'll tell you why I think this place is great: PARKING: They have big parking available on-site. Although on the times when I go due to offered class/instructor at 10am M-F, the parking is pretty full. There are signs around other businesses that says "no Life Time parking allowed." But after noon, there are a lot of spaces available. AMENITIES: - Life Cafe - Sauna & hot tub - Life Spa salon - Personal Trainer - Classes - Kids club - Outdoor pool and tennis court - and more... CLEANLINESS: At Life Time Fitness, they offer hand towels and full size bath towels so you don't have to bring in your own. There are hampers throughout the building and you can drop off your dirty towel when you are done. Lockers are clean. Showers are a hit or miss depending the time - morning to early afternoon is clean; but evening, you might see other gym members loose hair in the drain, but I see housekeeping constantly present to maintain the area. I did use their weight machines upstairs and noticed some gym members don't wipe down the equipment. There are sprays and towels available. CLASSES: I mainly attend yoga classes and the studio is kept nice and clean. Numbers on the floor is easy to see. SERVICES: The front desk is welcoming and greets you when you arrive and leave. The instructors are friendly, knowledgeable, and knows you by name. The instructors are helpful if you forgot to RSVP a space and will help you find a spot in class. I booked a massage appointment once at their Life Spa and the masseuse was professional and friendly. The only downside was the pricing. Overall, it is a good place to go work out.

I'm extremely disappointed with the gel pedicure I received at the LifeSpa in Fridley…read more While removing my previous gel, the technician repeatedly filed and buffed several of my natural toenails until they became visibly pink, extremely thin, and painful. I told her during the appointment that the filing was hurting. She was also leaving a significant amount of the previous gel behind and appeared ready to apply the new color over it. At one point, I briefly held the file because I was trying to show her where product was still left and because I could no longer tolerate the pain. I was later told that gel applied at another salon can be difficult to remove. However, if the technician did not feel capable of removing it safely, she should have stopped and told me that she could not complete the service. I would have understood. Continuing to file my natural nails until they felt paper-thin showed extremely poor professional judgment. The final polish application was also thick, uneven, and poorly finished. The technician came to the front desk and apologized to me. At the time, I told her it was okay and even left her a tip because I had no idea how much pain and sensitivity I would experience the following day. My toes became so sensitive that even warm water in the shower caused pain. When I contacted management, I was initially asked to come in so they could examine my feet. Because I could not attend at the proposed time, I requested to come on Wednesday. The manager then left me a voicemail saying that too many days would have passed for examining my nails to be helpful. She stated that the technician and I had "different stories" and that she did not know where the truth was, but still refused a refund without ever examining my nails. The manager also stated that I had paid with "no concerns" at the time of the service. That is inaccurate. I communicated that I was in pain during the appointment, and the technician herself apologized to me afterward. The refund is no longer my main concern. My concern is the pain, the damage to my natural nails, the lack of professional accountability, and the way management dismissed my experience without even examining the condition of my nails. I have photos documenting both the poor polish application and the visible condition of my natural nails underneath. I expected much better professionalism, customer care, and accountability from Life Time.

Where nobody can become somebody, but most of all, a gym for everybody…read more Everything at Horsepower Strength and Conditioning starts with its Strength Coach/Owner, Matt Miller. Horsepower is less of a gym, and more of a program. The facility itself contains only what is needed to complete the phases of the program. There is not gym-only option where you can drop-in to do your own thing. The only option is to be 100% committed to the Horsepower program. That said, Matt is terrific at creating a program specific to your goals, and most importantly, appropriate to where you are in your physical and mental journey. Membership here truly runs the gamut of the diversisphere with all colors, creeds, and abilities finding a place where they can push beyond what they thought was possible. We have everyone from pregnant women preparing for birth, to women getting their strength back after birth, top level collegiate athletes, people coming off of injuries or surgeries, people trying to drop weight, people trying to gain weight, power lifters, martial artists, high school footballers looking to earn a scholarship, moms, dads, and everyone in between. It's truly a diverse mix of individuals who train here. The training sessions are private/semi-private, and you'll always have Matt's undivided attention where necessary. To have Coach Miller there to push you, and to make you push yourself, is really the key to unlocking your true potential. A note about pricing...if you inquire expecting gym prices there will be some sticker shock, but treating your inquiry as pricing for personal training/individual strength coaching, and the quote you get will make much more sense. For my private lessons in boxing and kickboxing, I pay $1/minute. The pricing at Horsepower, when broken down by session, comes to less than that, so keep in mind you're going to receive lots of 1-on-1 attention, you're not going to a gym where you'll figure things out on your own. Like I wrote earlier, you're committing to a strength and conditioning program, and you're committing to a coach who's going to make you the best you've ever been. I've been a member for over a year and I'll continue to be. I'm getting stronger and better conditioned all the time, I'm challenged all the time, I'm growing all the time. If you're ready for REAL change, this is the place.
