This restaurant is located in Centro Historico-just a few blocks from Zocalo.Its location is a very busy touristy part of Mexico City. When we arrived there was a 30 minute wait,but once we walked in it was obvious why as it was truly a work of art in there. The walls were adorned with amazing paintings and murals and interior designs elements that transported you back to Mexico in the 1950s and earlier. It was gorgeous. It was a very warm and welcoming place to dine at. There was a lady walking around with a platter full of conchas and churros that one could indulge in while waiting their main meal. I had to get a churro-it was so delicious. We also got chicken tortilla soup-it was so rich and tasty with the perfect blend of Mexican seasonings.
