Great experience! Not a traditional, sit-down restaurant with a server... it's an order at the counter, they bring it out when it's done on a tray type place. Lotsa options both on the menu behind the counter, as well as on a stand in the doorway with pictures, which was helpful. The staff was kind, accommodating and helpful with questions. Lots of food for a single dish, so it was great to split and it was delish. Lots of seating, both inside and out. Nothing special for the interior, but very clean. Went here for lunch. Don't waste your time or money!! My chorizo burrito was terrible. The chorizo was flavorless and cold. The refried beans were runny and flavorless too. My wife had the chicken casadia also flavorless. All in all it was the worst Mexican food we ever had. I don't want to forget to mention they give you plastic knives and forks to eat with. Not worth the money, honestly. A bean burrito and a burrito bowl with 2 cans of soda should NOT cost $35+! There are much better places around with more sensible pricing...and more flavor in their food. We tried this place because our usual choice is closed on Mondays. That was a double disappointment. Convenient location with ample, free parking. Very limited menu offering tacos, burritos, and quesadillias with choice of protein and toppings at an additional $ .75 each. The food was tasty and the staff friendly (picture Moe's stripped down to a couple items). I think, however, that the limited menu and the very casual atmosphere reminded me of a food truck that simply added a porch with tables. Los Primos reminds me of chipotle or qdoba but with authentic Mexican ingredients. When you walk in and order, you order in a line just like chipotle/qdoba. You can get tacos, burritos, bowls, etc. The extras were very similar to chipotle/qdoba as well so it's likely you'll find something you like! The ingredients tasted way better than any other fast food Mexican joint. I got a steak burrito packed with all sorts of salsas, veggies, along with cheese, cilantro, guacamole.... literally everything because that's how I like it! I thought my food tasted great! I was happy with the outcome since I've been hearing good things about Los Primos. The only thing that would stop me from coming back again and again is the prices. They are overpriced in my opinion. They do charge you extra for guacamole and queso. I feel like in order to keep up the success they will have to lower prices just a little because my burrito was about $10... I can go to a legit authentic Mexican restaurant and get the same if not better for the same price or even a little bit cheaper. But again Los Primos was good and I'll most likely to come back to taste something else. Over the past month I've literally been to this place 4 times for lunch. I can't help it...it's delicious, fast and they are so friendly! My personal favorite is the bowl with either steak or chicken, and extra fajita veggies. For only $6.50 you can get a generous bowl or burrito with your choice of chicken, steak, pork, ground beef, or veggies. Toppings are NOT extra, they are included! The only toppings you will pay extra for is the guacamole, queso sauce or the corn pico mix. Free toppings include 2 types of salsa, onion, cilantro, japs, sour cream, pico, 2 types of cheese, fajita veggies, lettuce, tomatoes - these are included in the price. Service is fast, get there early though because this hot new spot has lines out the door around the noon hour. It's a chipotle style set-up...pick your meat, pick your toppings, get a drink, pay and sit down with your food. The menu is limited but that is what they are going for - a more limited menu of burritos, bowls, nachos, quesadillas, and tacos means fresh meat and toppings, and a focus of better customer service. They are now serving Horchata too, a delicious sweet Mexican drink made with rice milk and cinnamon. Grab one for around $2/2.50. read more

We were downtown Goshen for First Fridays, looked over and thought let's try it. It's on a one way street so had to go 2 blocks and around the corner just to get there. We were driving. If walking it's just off Main Street. They do have plenty out door seating which will be great in the Summer, granted it Jan 3. Ample seating inside as well, clean tables and floors. No table service but we didn't mind at all. Kitchen looked clean and organized from what I could see, when i was placing my order. I pay attention to little details like that. I had the Torta (Mexican sandwich) you can get any way you want it. I chose steak but they also had the option of churriso, chicken, ground beef and all the fixings you want, they do have a small upcharge for blanco queso and or nacho cheese. It was really tasty. Our kids each got a side of rice and refried beans, very fresh tasting, husband ordered 3 classic tacos with cilantro and onion. He said they hit the spot. The only thing, IF I have to mention a negative is the amount of salsa/pico you get for the price. It could be a bit larger than a condiment cup. BUT I will say that little cup was delicious. Yes I would recommend it, people have mentioned that its chipotle style. No the Primos behind serving made you feel like one of their primos and the flavor of the food is true mexicana. Just GO. Overpriced. No soda machine. Bottled drinks are way overpriced. Food was ok but not worth the cost. I'd rather there be a Moe's or Qdobas in town but oh well. Easy parking and wheelchair accessible which is important to us. Very friendly staff who answered all our questions about the order. The food is ok considering it is on an assembly table and not cooked to order. A little steep price for what you get but that's Goshen for you. The only real problem we had was the plastic silverware wasn't strong enough to cut the burrito shell and they were too big and messy to pick up. We may come back but next time try the tacos or fajitas. read more

I recently moved back to the area from Chicago and I was looking for a new taco spot. I had work in Goshen and figured I would check out Los Primos. I was greeted kindly by Carlos. He talked with me about my recent move and my taco spot search and it really set the place over the top. The tacos were great, I had carne asada with the hot salsa which was also amazing. I had doubts I would find tacos like back home in Chicago, but I was pleasantly surprised by my experience and went back the next day. I was in town making sales calls with my sales manager on a VERY foggy day and we were looking for a good lunch spot, saw this while driving and pulled in. It was the perfect lunch spot! I must say I am a Chipotle lover. This is like an authentic Mexican chipotle. Same concept, but even BETTER! Portions were huge, which sort of justified the $24 cost for two lunches. As far as service, that is why I gave this 5 stars. As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed and asked if we had ever been there before. When we said "No", the guy explained to us how it works. What a pleasant surprise! I was craving something different, and convinced my hubby to try some Mexican food. That was a task in itself, as he's a barbeque man, but he loved his chicken quesadilla so much that he insisted I write a great review. He said their chicken was very tender and tasty with good seasoning. I had the chipotle chicken taco and it was amazing! It was in a creamy mild chipotle sauce that was so good I could have just sat down and ate a whole bowl of that. I also had a steak taco, that was just ok. It was made of real thin sliced meat similar to cheesesteak meat. The food was prepared the same as Chipotle where everything is cooked already and ready to put together to the customers request. Due to this method and with the steak being so thin, and at the bottom of the pan, it was a little dry. They were bringing out a fresh pan just as I finished my order. It would probably be much better with fresh meat, as it was seasoned well and had a good taste. I just think the thin slices don't hold up well in a warming pan. Overall the food was delicious and the prices were very good. I would highly recommend them to others. Thank you for the great service and food. My family went for a great meal on Friday! The chips and Guac as well as all the meals were both cheap and on point. Had a steak burrito, service was quick and clean, but the menu was small. The food was okay, I've had better elsewhere, and I've been to San Diego a couple times and I have a mexican girlfriend so I'm pretty much half mexican by default. The steak was a little tough, the salsa was moderately hot, and there was corn in the rice. Never seen that before, but whatever. For $6.50, I'd rather go down the street to the mexican supermarket for a burrito. Meh. read more
