Entry into top of the Rock is $10. The Golf Cart Tour/Museum tickets are $45 per adult if you purchase in person. We thought this was a little pricey, but went ahead. We did not have to wait too long to get into our golf cart, maybe 15-20 minutes. They offer drinks for purchase in the line. The golf carts are electric, and only go 7 mph. You do have to sign an online waiver beforehand. The views are beautiful, but do recommend going when it's not really hot out. Or wear a hat. We really enjoyed the scenery. It will take time to do the trail during a busy time, as people stop or slow down frequently to take photos or check out the views. There are some designated areas to pull over though. It took us roughly 45 minutes to go through. We did enjoy it, but didn't feel the $45 price tag per adult was worth it. We opted to skip the museum, just because of the hot weather. There is a shuttle to the museum, otherwise its valet parking only. We probably would not go back. Just didn't get our money's worth, in my opinion.

Fun experience! We had been before but not at Christmas time. It was beautiful at night with all of the Christmas lights. I do wish they would added more Christmas lights, but it was still pretty.

Wow! This place is impressive. We went for a wedding weekend and were taken on a tour. We had 4 to a golf cart and were able to stop for pictures and do our own thing which was very nice. It's very easy to stay on track and there is a lot to see. It did go quicker than expected so make sure you take your time at each viewpoint. They had a bar/snack stop point which was so cool. It was really fun. I highly recommend to do this.

This trail was pretty fun and I am glad we went I arrived a little after they opened and luckily it was not busy. There was no wait for a golf cart and we didn't have to wait for a shuttle to the Museum and restaurants. Can't say the same thing when we finished. The trails were very nicely laid out. And you could pull over anywhere and at any time. However, certain known busier spots had parking to avoid huge traffic jams. Luckily, everyone was considerate of each other so no one was blocking traffic for long times and allowed plenty of room to pass if they stopped. The cave was a lot shorter than I expected. It was still very cool to do. There were many amazing waterfalls that we drove by and even stopped by. The scenery of cliffs was just beautiful. Overall, we had a two year old who behaved very well sitting in the middle back. The golf carts tops off at 7mph but was very easy to drive. I would do this again in the future

The Good: This is definitely an attraction that's perfect for people trying to wrangle a group of kids or people with mobility issues. It allows for great views, a "nature" like experience without having to do any work. The bad: The attraction was an extremely outrageous price for the length of time. It definitely has a commercial/fake feeling to it. Overall: Albeit perfect for a specific group, I could not recommend for most. If you're looking for something to do, I'd definitely invest time and money elsewhere.

This experience was well worth the money for a two hour golf cart ride. My party went on a Sunday mid morning. We had about an hour wait for the line to get to the golf carts. Bring a water bottle or something to drink while in line. Maybe even a snack if you have little ones going with you. Plenty of time to get out and take photos. Great venue to explore.. yo would love to see it in the winter for the Christmas lights!

MUST DO! A friend told me about this place, so I booked online. It was raining when we went so we had the whole place to ourselves. They gave us a covered golf cart and off we went. You just follow the signs and drive on a little path. We took our time and enjoyed all the stops. We went during the day so didn't get the full effect of the lights, but it was still nice. Highlight was the cave and bar. I wish we could get out and walk around but that's not allowed. We enjoyed our hot chocolate, and we continued on the path. Would love to go back when the weather is nice.

We had such a good time taking this tour. We would love to go back and do the night tour. If you love beautiful scenery, this adventure is for you. Loved loved loved it!

Loved this place and all the views. The drive through the scenery was nothing short of amazing. Being in town for cheer and we had time to get outside and explore. This is so worth it. There's a little bar inside the cave that you can stop and get drinks in. A few waterfalls and bridges with views that are breathtaking. Look forward to visiting again.

This is such an underrated activity. We had such an amazing time doing this trail. I can see if it is super hot or cold out that it might not be as good so keep that in mind, but the weather was perfect for us. The golf carts are easy to drive and can't even go fast so you have no worries. The trail is beautiful and fun. The best part is driving through the cave and stopping at the bat bar for a drink.

Once was enough! Top of the Rock Lost Canyon & Nature Trail is a 2.5-mile golf cart tour on a winding path through Ozark woods with some scenic views. Drive thru a very short cave where you can buy expensive drinks. You pay $10 per car to get in. Then the golf cart ride is $53 PER PERSON. A cart of four would be $212. Taking your time, assuming it's not too crowded, you can drive the 2.5 miles in about a half-hour. The drive is not that great and you can find scenic views almost anywhere in the area. As I was with a group we had fun but way too expensive and not that great a ride. I will definitely not do it again.

    Susan P.

Such a beautiful self guided and paced drive in an electric golf cart. The cave itself is brief and a little gimmicky but the Bat Bar was a must visit. I mean a bar in a cave? There is much to see and the cart's are even winterized.

This was just such a unique and fun experience! You got a covered golf cart and then you go ahead and explore. You just follow the signs and drive on a little path. We took our time and got some great pictures. It does say 'Cave' but the Cave part is VERY small, I wish it was longer. After you are done, they do have a museum which is actually very large but really not my cup of tea. The museum is great for someone (like my husband who enjoyed it) but I am just not into that so I could definitely pass that. They have a large gift shop and restaurant as well. I would definitely check this place out again if I was in the area and 100% recommend. It was just so different.

Ask the Community - Lost Canyon Cave and Nature Trail

If I do the ozark outing tickets, which is top of the rock , museum, and dogwood. how do I reserve a golf cart?

I believe Golf carts are first time, first serve. The reservation is to avoid waiting in line... I'm pretty sure.

What is the total cost for the tour including the cart?

It's about $40 a person to rent a golf cart and tour the grounds. The cave bar is extra and they take cards.

Is this only a tour or can I freely walk here with my family?

The tour is self conducted. You drive/ride in a rented golf cart along the couple of miles of paths that wander through the lost cavern and other unique waterfalls along the way. Very relaxing and you can take as long as you want while touring. No…

Are dogs allowed on the golf carts for the cave tour?

We stayed at the Dragonfly Dreams treehouse. Here are my thoughts: PROS - Very well appointed (comparable to Big Cedar) - Spacious for the price (sleeps 8 adults easily, maybe 10 with kids) - Super fast internet (exceeding 30Mbps) - TV in EVERY Room (including the loft, and living room) - High end appliances, smart TV, Bluray player - Push button keypad to open front door (very convenient) - Jacuzzi tubs on each bathroom - Fun amenities - paint ball, high end RC course, disc golf - Courteous and homey staff CONS - There is an $80 cleaning fee (one time, but they also clean it only once) - You have to pay for EVERY activity (25% discount if you stay) - Grounds are not as refined as Big Cedar - Jacuzzi tubs are small (I like Big Cedar's better because it fits 2 people) - You need to wash the dishes before you leave (there is a dishwasher though) - Office closes at 5PM (but you can call an evening number for emergencies) - No good restaurants on property (there is only a small rib joint) TIPS - Arrive on time (check in is 3PM) because the office closes at 5PM (or call ahead to get your front door code) - Parking in front of treehouse will fit 2 cars (probably 3 small cars) Overall, Branson Cedars offers a good alternative if you need to stay close to Big Cedar. It offers a good value especially if you have a larger group. The treehouses are about the same price as the One Room Cabin at Big Cedar (which sleeps 5 at the most). I like the high speed internet because I need to be able to work remotely. The downside is that we miss the upscale amenities and activities at Big Cedar.
