She always provides specific feedback, good verbal cueing, and options to make exercises more challenging. I feel very safe taking classes from Katie and she remembers my limitations/injuries and cautions me when necessary. Played phone tag for about two months to finally hear that a decision was made by executives not to have monthly youth rates. What a waste of mine and staff time. The Manager stated during our call "well, The Club in Mckinleyville doesn't have youth monthly rates". HS could have done something very good and decided to make it appear like they were interested in being more family friendly and then decided not to.

Susie Kidd, the owner and instructor, was not afraid to take me on and tailor instruction for my needs. Out of pure desperation, I decided to try pilates at a studio in Manhattan where I was working at the time. Within a few weeks, I was feeling much better and enjoying all sort of additional benefits. Much like Jennifer N., I felt like pilates changed my life. Once I was back home in Humboldt, I sought out a local studio and found Sacred Bodies Pilates, which I found to be every bit as good as the one I attended in Manhattan -- and at nearly half the price. Owner and instructor Susie Kidd is a delight. Always professional and caring, she is knowledgeable and takes her job very seriously. If you've never tried pilates before, but are curious, Sacred Bodies Pilates is a great place to start. And if you're a veteran, Susie can definitely deliver a serious workout.
