Stopped here unplanned when we had a water issue with our RV. Hadn't planned on staying but…read morethankfully Dumplin Valley had vacancy and was able to recommend a mobile Rv repair service too. We stayed one night and they were SO accommodating with a last minute reservation! We pulled in after dark so I was surprised to see the farm like beautiful setting when waking up the next morning. It was a great stay and I was surprised to see the place so empty! We decided maybe we should stay a second night it was so enjoyable. By the time we went down to the office to pay our site was already reserved for the night, so we would have to move spots. Slightly obnoxious since there were only a handful of sites occupied, but we were late to decide so that's our fault. Ultimately we decided that if we had to pack up to move sites then we might as well get back on the road- and so we did. It was still a beautiful, picturesque and farm setting that was peaceful and quiet plus accommodating! They don't have any 'resort' type amenities but power was water are plenty amenities for us!!

As I smelled alcohol and cigarettes on here breathe from across the counter. This place is in need of an update and wasn't a safe place to be. I'd try somewhere else this isn't the place you are looking for. You also can't dry camp for more than one night here. Which isn't on their website anywhere. I would stay here if my life depended on it. A few of their regular RV folks walked in with 2 teeth and smelled like they hadn't taken a shower in a month. I guess the showers aren't working here as well. To top it off Karen approached my car and made a snide remark as I made this review. Just find another place to camp. I can recommend that someone might park overnight, but you have to watch out for the potholes and gullies in the poorly leveled gravel roads. Currently, there are such insane restrictions and rude, unethical and unprofessional management that it is simply not a pleasant place to stay.

We wrapped up a week in East TN and stayed here the entire time. We tried getting into Anchor Down…read more(good luck - they book out a year in advance) but would have had to change sites 3+ times in a week to stay there. If you think this RV park is the step sister, think again. While it's not lakefront, it is on a river and offers plenty of activities and grounds for kids, adults, and pets. Food truck on the weekend? Yes, please! Bathhouses and rest rooms are clean and updated. Site was gravel, level, and had full hookups. We could have selected a pull-through site, but preferred to be on the river - no regrets! For the number of folks here, this was surprisingly quiet. Pro tip: make no mistake - this is on the main drag to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and traffic is horrendous on the Parkway. We came toward the end of high season; the weekdays were fine; once Friday morning hit, so did the traffic. Plan accordingly and be aware.

We found the hiking & motorcycle riding exceptional around here. Cove Creek RV resort has a great staff, big pull through cement sites, clean park & laundry facilities, a salt water pool & very quiet (except for the nesting killdeer). They were improving the the property by adding more cement site. They also had some meet & greets at the pool which made nice to meet people from different areas at the park. We will stay here again.
