Excellently maintained and close to 75. Plenty of amenities nearby. Definitely a good passing-through stop on the 75 corridor.

Corbin, Kentucky is mid-way to the drive down to Florida. We stopped in this KOA location to and from Florida. The campsite is clean and the staff are super friendly and helpful. We arrived with no reservations and were able to get a site. I would make a reservation for peak times (ie. winter holidays, march break, etc). For under $40 a night, you can not go wrong with stopping by this KOA location. read more

Called for a reservation on our way to Florida. We arrived after hours and got exactly what we wanted. A quiet, clean, comfortable site. We sat up and spent the night. The next morning we had a water heater problem and the manager on duty saw we were having troubles and came to see what she could do. She recommended a man who would come out and help us. After contacting him we had to wait a few hours. They allowed us to stay past check out with no problems. We will return on every trip from NE Indiana to Florida!!! read more

We have traveled across country and love this campground. There are new owners and they are working hard to upgrade everything. They are friendly and will help with any problem or find someone who can. The sights are level and shaded with large trees. There is a large dog park and walking trails. The sights have room for slideouts and canopy too. read more

We made a reservation while on the road. We only needed to stay overnight en route to our destination. When we called we advised the dimensions of our rig, that we had two slide outs and that we would be arriving after hours. When we arrived, we had been placed in a spot with a tree right in the middle of where our slide out would have been. We ended up having to sleep with one of the slide outs closed which just happened to be where my husband and I slept while I was eight months (and very) pregnant. Regretfully I'm giving this place a bad rating; I say regretfully because my wife and I bust our ass! 7 days a week 70hrs a piece to deliver the goods that this country needs to survive during this covid19 pandemic and we get 1 night of free time to enjoy each other and relax before hitting the roads again. Everything wasn't perfect but it was going fine when a staff member comes up to me with some idiotic requests and asks me to turn off my semi. Which by the way is the only way I have to keep cool and cook some of my food. I wouldn't be so upset if it weren't for the reason he said that. APPARENTLY? Some jackass across the way was giving his INAUGURAL SPEECH and couldn't hear himself talk... such bullshit It's no different than an rv running its generator which honestly it's actually quieter than an Onan generator. I hate that good people suffer because of others stupidity.i hope they have a good time when I blow my horn at the crack of dawn when I leave this place! read more

My family and I have stayed here 3years in a row. First 2 were great. This year horrible. Supposed to be here for 7 days may go home early. Since Sunday bathrooms haven't been cleaned. Very dirty. They did replace a huge toilet paper roll hours after it was empty. Went to the store to get a drink a little after 6 and they were already closed. Sign says open until 7. The pool very nasty as well this year. So disappointed. If someone from KOA wants to contact me feel free I have pictures of how bad the facilities are looking. Also the trash has not been dumped since we arrived either. They use a front loader to push it down every day. We will not ever be back. Saddened. read more

I give this KOA 5 stars just because Ed (the young mngr) and his wife deserve it for running such a nice family-friendly campground - even though we're a couple in our 60's. Sure, the sites can be a bit close together but not more so than many state parks - do they not have a right to have a successful business? Great bathroom & shower facilities, pool, community room with games for rainy days, little store. Yes, you might hear interstate traffic (we didn't) - what would one expect at a campground right off the highway? Recommended, say hi to Ed for us. read more

Made a reservation while on the road not knowing anything about this KOA.What a delightful young man escorted us to our site and told my Husband how to get our TT out the next morning the easiest possible way.He even shook my Husband's hand......nice manners !!!!! We came to the Koa In Corbin in August with our family and stayed in Cabin KK2. After a great day on the lake with our three kids we put the kids to bed and that's when the nightmare started. We found Bed Bugs around 11pm crawling on our kids! My wife changed clothes and went to Walmart and spent $150 on clothes for the entire family. I proceeded to find a hotel room and at midnight we woke up three young children, changed their clothes and went to the hotel. The next day I told the person working the desk at the KOA what happened. She said the owner would contact us that day. I never heard a word so I called back and the lady again said that the owner would contact us later the same day. I still have yet to hear from them after making several attempts to contact them. I called the main KOA office and explained the situation and they said they would reach out to them. Still nothing. I was upset at the time for the inconvenience and expense, but now I'm furious that they have not simply called to apologize. After throwing away everything in the cabin we incurred a very expensive weekend along with hours of cleaning our vehicle and items to ensure we did not bring these creatures home. If anyone has stayed here you need to check your belongings because Bed Bugs spread very quickly and from what I found in the cabin they had been there for a while! read more
