It seems that Lantern Tree Books did occupy a real brick and mortar location back in 2023, but that location has closed and they are now in the process of opening in a new location. Anyway, I'll still go back because I love this place and the people who work there are usually very friendly and helpful. The bookmark awkwardness was an anomaly. The shop is cute and it's always so well curated. Sometimes they have blind date picks that are cheap and fun to open. I always find so many books I want there. I enjoy that as it gets me to look at things I normally may not. They have a great selection of physical media and records. They even have a few comics and board games. I will say the prices are a little high but this is a physical location in a beautiful neighborhood by the beach so I am not complaining.
