(Hint, loyal readers, it didn't work! - Smilin' Stan Lee) I started up again in the middle of senior year of high school when I said "Ladies, be damned! Comics ARE cool!" and I continued to go here through most of college whenever I was home. The owners have always been super friendly and helpful. Even if I was the only one looking for a particular comic, they'd try to track it down for me. I highly recommend this store to any comic book reader. Despite the relative smallness of it, they always managed to have whatever I was looking for.

I've a 3 yr old son that I take there every so often, and hopefully he'll continue the comic collection :).., Also we seem to buy a toy whenever I go in with my kid (they have cool toys also, like transformers and such). I'm here to gather up some goodies for him. The shop is set up nicely and is very organized. The owner & his staff are always friendly and willing to answer any questions. There are always customers browsing and buying. There is a large selection of comics of both collectibles and the everyday ones plus more. Just by driving around the area, you can easily miss this spot because it's in between a couple of spas. The businesses around it kind of throw you off. Luckily, I was driving slow and happened to see it. It's a small place. It wasn't busy -- I guess because it was raining. Upon entering, I saw one person working. There were tables set up and the person working -- who I found out that day is the owner -- was setting up for a Magic Card Tournament. I ended up buying more than I needed to from there. While he was scanning my stuff, we just had a small chit chat. I just wanted to know how long that store's been around...all that good stuff. That's when I found out he was the owner. Great guy. He put us on to some other conventions and events at his store. I recommend dropping by if you're around the way. Great store...and the owner is down to earth and pretty knowledgeable.

I ended up not needing 2 books I had them dig for for me and they were super polite about putting them back (some comic shops have made rude comments when asking about stuff and choosing not to buy something last minute). I ended up coming back 2 weeks later and bought out the rest of the books that I originally did not want, as well as got some older books as well. Condition here is good. Its super clean and organized too. Wish we had a shop this big near me. Also, comic hunters, they have bins, FOR DAYS!

I can tell you that this store is huge, neatly set up, and boasts an ungodly amount of comics, collectibles, figurines, toys, games, cards, books, posters (check out the very foxy Supergirl) across the pop culture spectrum of movies, television, comic books, super heroes & villains. They even have a small sports card section, so every branch of the Nerd Tree is represented here! They don't have a website, but have a Facebook page on their business card, which I included as a photo.

I then bought another 18 comic book full set for $15 and with 2 missing books (that was clearly marked as missing) and I found the other 2 online, so now I have the full set, and it only cost me $24 in all - you can't beat these prices. I'm not looking for comic books that are in perfect condition, although, most that I have received are in great condition and inside protective sleeves. I'm 54 years young and enjoying being able to buy full sets of of the classics. Great store, and I can't wait to buy my next full series.
