The prices are not amazing affordable it's worth going there shower curtain, clothing, shoes, sandals I give them five stars

I wanted to buy jeans because it is on sale I can't return it. There is no try on room. Prices are way up. I usually buy food there.

I'm really surprised more people don't talk about this place. Pretty much anything you're looking for in your life you can find at Lot Less for a lot less than you could find anywhere else. I've picked up leggings, bags, accessories, shower gel, pots and pans, dish towels, and so many other items over the past few years at Lot Less, and have always been happy with the quality of items here. Service isn't the friendliest but you know what? You get what you pay for. Be warned that if you're coming here for one thing, no you're not. I've never walked out of Lot Less with just one item. Lot Less - Department Stores Near Me - Astoria, New York

The third Queens location of the Lot Less chain of stores recently opened last week in Astoria on the corner of Broadway and Steinway street. Those familiar with the Lot-Less stores, know that they sell discounted items like toys, housewares, office supplies, makeup, food items and much more. The items sold here are slightly better quality than you would find in your normal discount store like Dollar Tree. So, if you like bargain shopping, then this store is a must. Since opening last week, the store has been continuously busy with shoppers. There are often lines at the registers but thankfully the lines go very quickly due to the staff working diligently. They also do a good job of keeping the store fairly clean and organized. I must say, I've had quite a nice time perusing the aisle during my visits here. It's fun looking for bargains. Plus, the location of this store is conveniently located near the Steinway Street subway station. So glad they opened a location in this area. read more

They have face masks pack of 50 for only $20. They also had pattern masks for adults and children at $2.99 each. The makeup section was good for basic things. If you have children you'll love the toy section. The store was very narrow in some isles. I recommend going early and not mid afternoon. Inside the store there was precautions to social distance. I found myself dodging people in the clothing section. They had express clothing that wasn't fake for up to 80% off. The shower curtains were pretty cool too I was almost tempted to buy one. They also have hand sanitizer and a great home goods cleaning section. The shoe section was not ideal or organized. But other than that the floors were super clean. The security guard is very kind he wanted to help me get my basket but I told him its ok I'll put it back. The checkout section was a little snug but extremly good. Waited on the line for under 5 mintues with 3 cashiers open. There is markings on the floor for social distanting. The candy isle was super fun. But beware you will take something off a shelf if your waiting online. read more

This type of a store is always a hit or miss for me. I have to say that this location is really not one of my favorites because it can get very busy and a bit messy. They do offer a few name brand items and a lot of name brands that I have never heard of. I have been to their other locations and they are some what similar. These types of stores really offer a bit of everything from clothes, house hold items, toys, food, plus more. I always say in a store like this if you find something you like just buy it because it might not be there later on. I love coming to these types of stores just to see what they are offering. I have scored a lot of different items that I didn't know that I needed. read more

When I worked down near City Hall I would always sneak to the Fulton Street location During my lunch hour,not just for nostalgia from it being where the strand outlet was, But for random deals on even more random items - some of which were actually useful/tasty. Now they are open in Astoria, and once again I can take a quick trip during a break and come back with wierdly flavored chips (roasted corn doritos!) for home office snackin'. Glad to have them here to make life feel a little normal. read more

I've scored some really fantastic designer items at this location for heavily discounted prices. It's great for household items and clothing. The place tends to get messy/disorganized fast and if you see something you like you need to snatch it up right away because items sell out in the blink of an eye. I've returned to purchase repeat items and they were sold out in just one day. Lines are often long & move slowly, but it's a small price to pay for deeply discounted items. read more

Nice to have competition to Deals and Discounts. Prices very in comparison and al thought they have a lot less space and merchandise -they go have some good quality bargains on sale -they are a few feet away from the Steinway Street Subway station. read more

I'm a daily customer, I always like to go in & check what's new. It's something I like to do, but today on a Sunday I came into lot less with my family. It was a terrible experience!! The security guard that's there on Sunday is sooo rude and disrespectful towards my family & I !!! We went in started to browse around, and the security guard was following us as if we were going to steal something!!! He then started yelling at us because we were looking at a box that was already open saying " don't open the box" we told him it was like that when we saw it! Then my mother in law was hurt by a glass the wasn't put on the shelf right! So the security guard starting blaming us that we dropped it!! He then kept yelling at us that we were touching everything & that we should carry a basket. He then went to get a basket & he dropped it on the floor assuming we should pick it up!! We really didn't need a basket when I only had one item!! Then I was holding a cup and he snatched the cup away from me in front of my son! He had no right to do that! I went on to look for the manager and it took forever for him to come! I spoke to a cashier to call him, but she never did till another employee came and she was super good to us! She was helpful with my mother in law, who cut her toe from the glass that fell on her foot and the employee witnessed everything that was going on! The manager didn't do much, all he said was that he was going to write him up! I told him if that's the way they treat customers!!! Worst experience ever!!! read more

frankly, the new staff is racist. They follow me around the whole store and I overheard them talking smack about me. I dont know who they're fooling. Theres nothing on the shelves and everything theyre peddling is garbage. I picked up a pair of shoes from the bin and they were heavily worn, like the staff picked up someones footwear after they slipped off old ones and walked away in new ones, wrapped a rubber band on them and put them with others You can pass this dingey store by. when i notice that lot less was opening in astoria on broadway and steinway i was curious and after waiting 15 minutes on line before i was able to enter i was no longer curious but overall its just ok . its a level above dollar tree and if you look around i bet you can find some items useful. not really a big place but plenty of aisles are filled with a variety of things like some clothing , homegoods, small electronics , bath and beauty items, food products , stuff for the kitchen including cleaning items all at prices that are cheaper from the big chain stores . a big plastic bottle of dove body wash was 3.99 and a large container of frebreze spray was 4.99 which is a good deal. the line was super long as only one cashier was working but after folks started to verbally complain to the manager 2 cashiers appeared and line is now moving quuckly . i spent about 30 bucks and yeah i might come back from time to time . read more
