These guys will do anything for your money. The guy with the electronic signing desk will take his teeth out for cash. They try to sell you 15 different warranty options. Tell them up front you don't want any extras, they make you sit there while they read through every one. They will not give you the title, they insist on mailing it to you. All this BS paperwork to justify a $600 paperwork fee. Never going back. read more

Buyer Beware!!! I would not recommend anyone give their business to this dealership! I drove an hour to get there for a specific car. Price was in line with the market. We had a deal in principal pending an overnight trip back to KC with the car so that my mechanic could check it out. After inspection he found 2 repairs(ac compressor, and lower intake manifold gasket) that were going to need to be fixed within 30 to 60 days at a price of around $1400. He showed me where they did a good job of trying to hide it but also showed me where they didn't cover all of it up. When I went back in and told them that I would buy the car if it was fixed or price was lowered they wouldn't even talk with me any more. I was told "...we're not putting any money into that car. It's an older car with low mileage and someone will pick it up." I was out of there 5 minutes after driving an hour to get there. As soon as I showed them the problems they were done with me because we didn't have a deal. The salesman wanted me out of there and nothing to do with me because I wasn't going to buy the car. Then, because I had taken the vehicle overnight I had transferred a couple of personal belongings with me. I left one item in the car and realized it after I drove back home. I called back an hour later and was going to have some friends in town pick it up for me. I was given the run-around and never given a name of who I talked to. I called 3 times after that and nobody would return my call. I've bought 10 vehicles in my life and never been treated with so much disrespect. This business definitely needs to get back to basics. I may have only been in the market for a $6k car now but I might be in the market for a $20k vehicle in a couple of years again. Not only did they treat me like a number but they showed me that they will knowingly sell a car with major problems to an unsuspecting customer. I feel bad for the person who buys the 1999 Buick Century on their lot now. Buyer Beware!!! read more

Fair priced and competent - My experience (based on completing some of my own jobs and with jobs sourced to "Mom & Pop" shops to specialty maintainer) has shown that generally you get the level of mechanical competence that you pay for...So I was very satisfied with the work done at this GM dealer (can be rare - not all high priced labor work is equal) So, I generally like to do as much of my own maintenance as possible... But a situation came up where I diagnosed what I needed repair but didn't feel like putting in the man hours or extra cost in special tools so I took my truck into the service department. Dropped it off in the am - received a call within the hour confirming my diagnose (lower intake manifold gasket - cheap part but a real pain to get to...) and received a quote. Service manager called later that same day and informed me the job was done and gave me the final cost - I asked for a belt to be replaced while they had to remove it anyway - Very satisfied with professionally done job. read more

I brought a 2016 Nissan maxima, a day or two after I purchased it all the dash lights came on, check engine, (srs airbag light, tpms light. seatbelt light). Brakes were bad, drive axles are bad, It has major front end problems, it is not safe to drive, they sold me a LEMON. I talked to the sales guy he said he would check on it I never heard back. Do not buy anything from this dealership. I will never buy from them again, they are a very wicked and shady dealership! read more

Service Department is a complete joke! Stay away! In good faith I purchased a 2016 (in 2016) Malibu brand new off the lot and within 1 week the car had completely stalled and locked up throwing us from 50 mpg to 5 in about 1 second (I know that's not their fault) but we expect them to analyze and correct the problem as we purchased their extended warranty. At that point all the service department did was turn off the check engine light which does not generate a service record. It's 2019 now, check engine light still on, vehicle still stalling, service 2 days ago the service department turned off the check engine light and told my wife that it keeps coming on because she is on and off the gas pedals, what a complete crock. Between the purchase in 2016 the check engine light has never been off for more than a week and we have driven the car to Lottspeich (40 miles away) between 12 and 15 times, we had them print us out service record for our attorney and it printed out 4 records, which means ten times all they did was reset the check engine light. Every time we get a loaner they talk like we should be excited about it, it's embarrassing and I don't give a crap about the loaners. This service department is a complete joke and the management allowing this to happen to its customers will feel the burn one day. I know they will reply with a generic statement about how highly they uphold their customer service, but we are done with customer service. We want a working vehicle and this deal that went down in 2016 has completely wasted years of our lives that we cannot get back. All we do is swap out vehicles and wonder when our car is going to lock up on the highway. Still to this day no resolution, nothing you can do at this point will make it right unless you give a refund for this piece of garbage you sold us and continue to sell us on, wasting yours and our time. read more

Dealing with their service department has wrecked my entire family's week. Daughter's car broke down in Warrensburg so we had it towed to nearest Chevy dealer (Lotspeich). We waited twice for parts to be shipped from Chicago to fix the car. In the meantime, they had no loaner available so we had to drive my daughter to and from Warrensburg to class and then to Grandview Mo to her job. Service staff was NOT friendly, sympathetic, or helpful. After 4 days we pick up her car and make it back to our hometown before it completely broke down again. Completely non operational. We picked it up and paid thinking the car would be fixed. I really don't think they didn't do anything to the car. We will be reporting to better business bureau and anyone else I can think of. We are not made of money and have had to tow it to yet another dealership. read more

I cannot express my GRATITUDE enough to Jim and that other fine young man at the middle desk in the service department ( sorry I have forgotten his name, which is due to my usually only speaking with Jim who since 2008 has been so very kind to me as a customer). Will definitely use this dealership again. I was looking for particular features on a vehicle since I drive a lot for my job. I felt like it was a group effort to find me the vehicle that I was looking for. Between Dennis and Jake, they came up with a 2018 Chevy Colorado with all the features I was looking for (plus more) in my price range. The whole vehicle buying experience was so easy and I have very little anxiety for they answered all my questions, was not pushy for a sale, and the financial advisor provided me with all the options of an extra warranty. He basically said, "here are your options for an extra warranty, this is what is included and here is the price" Nothing sneaky. I have been driving my truck for 4-5 months now, still perfectly happy with it. Got my first oil change at Lotspeich Automotive and it took only 35 minutes to change the oil, top off the fluids, and rotate the tires. This dealership is worth the trip! read more

Update: The owner finally called and offered to make things right by reimbursing me for the car detail. Great. However, I just received a call from the DOR stating my application for a title cannot be completed due to the fact the ID/OD provided by the dealership is not valid. Meaning, the tags I have on my car are not valid either. What is going on with this place? Never shop here, unless you like frustrating surprises every which way you turn. I wish I would have read reviews prior to purchasing a car from this place. The purchase was easy, however this dealership does not give a crap about their customers after you drive off of the lot. I was promised that the car would be detailed inside and out and the blemishes buffed while I was signing papers. After signing, I was quickly rushed into the car to set up my Bluetooth, and was distracted from the fact that they only ran this through a car wash - that was it. I called the salesman as soon as I got home, stating this car was not cleaned/detailed as promised, and now that it was in the sunlight I could see more scratches. I asked for this to be handled as it should have been the first time I asked while I was still at the dealership. He quickly took no accountability and put the responsibility on me to call the used car salesman for permission to have this done. He stated he had no power over it. Umm... Excuse me? Don't you work there and didn't I just sign a $31k loan?! Didn't you promise this would be done while I was signing papers? I replied to his satisfaction email stating how impressed I was with his knowledge about the vehicle, however was disappointed that the detailing was not done prior to driving away. The vehicle was dirty inside (not filthy, but sticky cup holders, leather needed cleaned, etc), and there were spots that needed buffed on the outside. He hastily replied to me, again stating this was my fault and denying that I had requested at all. Long story short, he replied basically yelling at me, taking no accountability and making me wish I had never met with him at all, even after I had replied to 'forget it' because I was tired of dealing with him and would have this vehicle (2015 terrain) detailed as it should have been on my own. Dennis, the salesman, only cares about you signing that paper, and it seems as though the entire dealership works this way. FYI, Dennis stated that the owner lets his wife drive the cars around town, which is why there were more miles than advertised, and why the car was dirty. Don't step foot on this lot unless you really want a headache and horrible customer service. Enjoy your commission on that car, Dennis. Because I'm never recommending this place, and even further will be specifically telling everyone I know about this experience and the sales staff. Horrible ending to what should have been an easy solution. I've even escalated the email trail to the owner, whom has yet to even initiate a response. I was going to let it go, but after being yelled at and called a liar over email you bet I'm not done yet. read more

I would never purchase a car here again and I would advise anyone shopping to go elsewhere. While the buying experience was fine, they lied about my car having new tires. Only the front was new and since they told me the put new tires on I assumed the back was too, this certain car you cannot see the tread unless you get on the ground and look under the car. My fault for not doing my due diligence; lesson learned. I have a picture of my rear tires that are slick they are so bald and I nearly wrecked in the rain because I had no traction. I have a picture of the inspection they gave me also showing they passed this car; it never should have passed inspection with these rear tires! I will be notifying the state inspection agency. I also asked them to address the tire light that was on, they said they did. I didn't notice it being on when I left and I live an hour and half away. Come to find out the TPM sensor is bad which is an $800 fix and I am sure they knew that because after all they "do a thorough exam of the car before they put it on their lot to sell!" DO NOT purchase a vehicle from here. They do not stand by their cars. Once you hand over your cash, and drive the car off their lot, their job is done. My daughter purchased her first car from here with her hard-earned money. 2 months later the transmission needs replaced. This place literally BRAGGED that this car was purchased and serviced there, yet brushed their hands of me when I approached them with this issue. I got -0- assistance from this place and the managers were complete jerks and I'm just dumbfounded that they do not stand behind the cars they put on their lot unless you fork over additional money for their supposedly certified warranty. I thought being a small town dealer that they were top notch and would at least give me a 3 month guarantee or offer some assistance but nope! All they told me was there was nothing they could do. They are no better than a small rigged car dealership that hides problems and takes your money. Do yourself a favor and stay FAR, FAR AWAY! This definitely ruined the car buying experience for my teenage daughter. What a horrible way to operate. Such a shame when I was convinced buying local was the right thing to do. read more

DO NOT BUY a vehicle from this dealership..I bought a 2011 Buick Regal CXL. I've had nothing but problems with the car stereo. The problem I'm having is when the bass in a song gets deeper or stronger the volume spikes WAY up, not just a little, but enought that you have to adjust the volume constantly during the song, It makes listening to any music with a strong bass line impossible, unless the volume is turned way down and the bass on the equilizer turned to between -8 and -12. I can reproduce this at will on the cd palyer, radio, satellite and usb music and showed this repeatedly to the dealership techs. I took it back multiple times in the first 4 months to have them fix the problem. They supposedly replaced the factory amp with a new one, and when i asked to see the one they pulled out of the car they couldnt find it. I was so frustrated i took the car to the dealership in sedalia (30 min drive one way) and after a quick demonstration they said there was definitly a problem. After going back and talking to the head guy at lotspeich, they set up a meeting with the regional buick representative for that area. Domingo ( the rep) kept trying to pass the buck, blaming the way the music was put on the cd and he kept repeating himself over and over. At that point i knew this was a dead end. The final straw was, he told me I should change the way I listen to my music. So here I am, stuck with a car stereo that I paid extra to get the premium sound system and it has a huge flaw. Once the regional guy got involved, the techs at the two dealership closed ranks and all of a sudden there was no problem. I have been through the gambit with buick customer service and that is a complete joke. I guess I knew i was in trouble when they took the window sticker off but not the tape. I took it back for them to clean off the tape because I couldnt roll the window down. They cleaned the window then wiped down the inside of the car with this white towel that left white lint all over the BLACK leather. I was warned about this place but took a gamble that others just had a one off bad luck experience. Not the case. read more
