I sent pictures of the bouquets to the florist and just asked it to be slightly less moody. She said she would send me a list of flowers and she never did. I specifically communicated that I did not like the orangey photo my mom shared. Yet that was basically the only flower used in the bouquets provided. The florist used no blue at all which was the main color in my bouquet. I was in tears with fury when they were delivered and the florist did not respond to my messages to fix them prior to the start of the ceremony. They didnt match any decore or any of the fake bouquets that were being used all over the reception hall. I had the ugly flowers removed but then there was essentially just greenery left and looked empty.

I purchased the "dolled up in lavender" bouquet with a small bear and a small chocolate bar and had them put a special message with the flowers as well. When they arrived they looked beautiful, there wasn't as much purple in the bouquet as I was expecting but it was still a great bouquet. The bear and chocolate came in a gift bag and was wrapped like a present. Overall the presentation was great and my girlfriend loved them. I did notice that the flowers start to die relatively quickly, but a majority of them stay alive for a while.

I found Special Impressions and placed my order on the Saturday before Mother's Day, having little hope that they would actually be delivered on time. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, the flowers not delivered in time for the special day. Later in the day on Sunday, I received a long voicemail from the owner, Allen, offering a very heart felt apology for the situation and offering to try and make up for it. So, on the Monday after, my mother received a call from him and they delivered an upgraded bouquet to her place of work. I'm leaving out a lot of small details, but Allen and the whole team at Special Impressions went above and beyond in making up for a situation that was beyond their control, going so far as to reach out to other suppliers looking for flowers that Allen said he would feel comfortable representing the quality his shops strives to deliver. After the flowers were delivered, he followed-up to let me know, with further apologies and a guarantee to make sure it doesn't happen again in the future.
