I was introduced today to Lotus Garden Center when a very beloved store on El Paseo sent me an arrangement in gratitude for my business. Was I ever impressed! The delivery guy called me in advance to make sure he could get into my community (good idea - his name had to be called in to the gate). When he arrived he was dressed festively in a sequin shirt and also wearing a big smile. And my goodness, the flower arrangement was breathtaking!!! It is of substantial size and I'd say the majority of the elements will last a long time and will definitely last beyond Christmas. The artistry of the arrangement is 5 stars! Simply gorgeous and luxe looking. I had to read some of the other reviews and now understand they also sell gifts. I'll be checking them out in person now. read more

Can I say enough good things about this place? No. Peter and John were beyond helpful isn't even enough. As a man I have no idea about flowers. I told them my mom doesn't like to take care of the flowers she's given lol, he immediately wrote down what type of arraignment for her. The Lotus Garden is a well run, professional establishment. Peter is a master craftsman and a true visionary. His passion is self-evident in his work. My Mom was glowing when she recieved these flowers. She used to own a floral shop and says she hasn't received an arrangement like this in years! She remarks highly on his eye for color. Came upon the Lotus Garden Center while exploring downtown Palm Desert. It's located just near the fancy downtown that boasts beautiful high end shops and eateries. The Lotus Garden Center has plenty of parking and the grounds are just sooooo beautiful. There are beautiful plants, pots, and garden art beautifully displayed throughout the grounds. It was so relaxing to walk through and take in all the beautiful sounds and sights. There are three indoor areas that also display beautiful home decor. I didn't buy anything but did ask a ton of questions to an associate that was busy working on the grounds. I didn't get his name but he was so kind and informative! John reached out to me personally to make sure that myself and the recipient were happy with the arrangement after some wires got crossed (completely on my end). He was very sweet and understanding! I was looking, from 300 miles away, for a local florist to send a housewarming gift to a couple in Rancho Mirage, and the reviews were great. One star off for a hefty $20 delivery fee, also not mentioned anywhere on the site, and dimensions of arrangements not given online either. The delivery was fast though; early the next day and my friends were thrilled. I couldn't see it in person of course, but seems like it was even better than the photo.
