Our friends sent my Mother flowers from Rancho Mirage Florist to celebrate her 100th birthday. The flowers still looked amazing after 2 weeks! All of the other arrangements from other florists died after 1 week but the flowers from Rancho Mirage Florist were still very nice. I highly recommend them. I was not too pleased with this florist. I asked for a specific floral arrangement that was posted on their site. The sample arrangement was full of flowers and succulents for 120.00 plus an almost 30.00 delivery fee. When the flower arrangement came it had 7 flowers and some greenery and two succulents. It looked sparce and sad. I asked the girl who took my order to send me a picture before they send it out and she got super irritated that I'd even ask that. I always ask the florist to do that for me and they always comply. She never sent a picture and just delivered them. I'll never order from them again! It was totally not worth the money. read more

Paid for a delivery, around 4:07 I called the florist to verify it was delivered and was told it was around 20 minutes prior. I then ask the person who I sent them to if they received anything to their business and they said no. They are alone at the shop so I suspect the driver dropped it off at the wrong location which is weird because I put the business name and address for the proper delivery. I tried calling back twice while still open and have not received an answer but I left a voicemail. I need a refund for order number. It ruined the surprise. Our employee had a health scare right after her husband did, so we wanted to send an extra special arrangement that would stand out from the usual type you'd get from say a 1-800-Flowers. In the past we have had difficulty in ordering arrangements online; they either arrive late, or half dead looking, or smaller than described. Ordering on the Rancho Mirage Florist website was quick and easy, which I appreciated as we were short on time that day. My siblings and I wanted to send a nice bouquet of flowers for our mother's 90th birthday. I thought purchasing directly from a local florist instead of 800-flowers was the way to go to support local business and receive in a much nicer bouquet. I spoke to a women and she recommended the designers choice. I specified that my mom's favorite color was yellow and to please include yellow. She said that was fine there would be yellows, oranges and it would be springlike. The designer would do a great job. The bouquet was $125 before delivery and tax. I asked if it was a good size and she said yes. What ended up being delivered was a small bouquet with only yellow flowers. There were yellows rose and two sunflowers. No other colors. I could have ordered something from 1-800flowers in the largest bouquet size for less money and it would have been delivered by a local Florist. I also could have purchased 50 yellow roses from Co.stco with free delivery for $58. I feel like I was totally ripped off by Rancho Mirage Florist read more

I live across the country, and my dad just passed away, so I flew out to the desert to help my mom take care of all the affairs. When I arrived, I noticed my cousin's family has sent a beautiful bouquet of flowers to my Mom. I am hands-down, the most critical person and don't trust anybody when it comes to things like this. I'm writing this because this was easily the most beautiful bouquet I have ever seen and it lasted the whole week. I was there and the flowers, got more beautiful every day. read more

Be aware: A remote business handles orders for this florist. I asked to speak with someone who knew what flowers were nice. Not all flowers on their website look great in the heat of August. I was told to pick something from the photos because the person taking the order didn't have visibility. I expressed my extreme frustration. I was up against time for same day delivery because: I called at 8:45 am (giving them 15 minutes to get organized after opening) and was told they'd call me right back. No call, so I called a few hours later. I thought all was fine for same day delivery. I was at an event around 5:15 pm when they called and left a message that they'd been able to deliver that day because they couldn't reach the recipient and they didn't have the gate code. It was too late for me to respond. So the flowers ended up getting delivered the next day - after I called them. They didn't even follow up with me in the am. I will not use this florist again. They used to be great. Not any longer. read more

I'm very frustrated with this florist. I called them on Friday night to order flowers for a friend at Eisenhower Med Center. They said their computer had crashed, to please order via their website. I had some trouble with it but finally placed my order online very early (before 9am) on Sunday, asking if they could please deliver early on Monday. On Monday at 3pm I called because my friend was checking out of the hospital and hadn't gotten any flowers. Evidently they typically deliver between 3-5pm. (It would have been GREAT if they had called or emailed me to say they could not deliver early in the day on Monday, as requested in my online order.) I gave them my friend's home address but they said they could not deliver (at this point day-old flowers) until Tuesday. It's 8pm on Tuesday and there is no word at all and I hate to bug my friend to ask if the flowers arrived. I won't use them again. If they had taken the time to communicate with me at any time during this process I would be inclined to give them a second chance but at this point I am FED UP. How hard is it to call or email someone who has given you $150 for flowers just to let them know that the order has been delivered or not been delivered? I would strongly urge them to call their clients -- or at least send out an email -- instead of letting a customer wonder what is happening with their order. UPDATE: Today (two weeks later), the owner, Alex, called me to discuss my complaint. I really appreciated his concern and that he reached out. I wish there had been more communication all along but I understand that being a small biz owner can be challenging. Thank you for calling me, Alex. As promised, they sent me a photo of the arrangement. While it is pretty, I was expecting something a bit more. When ordering, told them that I wanted a Christmas themed centerpiece and I also said I wanted it to be modern as it was for an artist. I saw many exotic and contemporary pieces online, but this arrangement seemed small and more traditional. I asked if they could maybe add some sticks or something to it but they did not. They gave me the dimensions and asked if it was okay. By that answer I figured they weren't going to change anything. In the end, I said it will work but thought it would be more modern. Again, they didn't offer to fix it so I let it go. My advice is if you want something in particular, be sure to tell them exactly what you want. Would still recommend. read more

I loved that the day I went in to place my order (3-4 weeks before the event) everyone was so helpful and nice. I did not love that there no samples of wrist corsages to look through, but I did appreciate that they wanted to see photos of the dresses the girls would be wearing to try and make something to coordinate. The ordering process was simple and was completed in just a few minutes. Pick up went ok, but it was prom day for several schools as well as Mother's Day weekend- they were slammed and not as friendly or attentive. The wrist corsages were lovely but I was surprised they left damaged petals on some of the flowers they used. When doing close ups, the bruises were noticeable. Obviously this did not ruin anyones night but I've had such beautiful arrangements from this florist before that I thought they'd take the same care with their corsages and boutonnières. read more

THIS IS NO LONGER "RANCHO MIRAGE FLORIST"- NEW OWNERSHIP- Don't order here-incompetent I used rancho mirage florist for deliveries in the past few years at least 4-5 times and was very satisfied with the professionalism, delivery service and quality of the arrangement. Making an order this time on Friday for a next day delivery for a funeral service today I was assured could be accommodated, the person taking my order fumbled with her words, took way too long to process a simple order, blaming it on the "system glitching" (which I see is a repeat occurrence from other reviews) wasn't familiar with common major streets such as Fred Waring and cook st, couldn't find the arrangement by name that was listed on the website and had to call back after completing the order because "the system glitched" and I had to give the address to the church again. As I called back to give her this info, I noticed that it was now a 1800 number that had a greeting of "flowers by Chloe", even though I originally called the local 760 number. I asked her if this was indeed "Rancho Mirage florist" as I had been very satisfied in the past and she assured me it was, which I now know isn't the case. The next day (today) I called back to verify my order, the delivery date, time and location and also make a small change to the attached card before the service. A different gentleman on the other end again didn't seem too competent but did verify the information and assured me the delivery would be made on time as ordered. I get to the service and my 250$ arrangement is no where to be seen. It makes me very upset as the family was very close to me and I wanted to show my sympathy, and there were not that many flowers from others. After the service I immediately call back and get sent to voicemail 3-4 times. I finally get through to the same person I spoke to earlier and ask for a manager/owner who won't be in until Monday. I ask him why my arrangement wasn't delivered and he looks up the info, just as he supposedly did 2 hours earlier, only this time says there was a "glitch" and the date was not put in correctly for delivery, even though I confirmed this with him directly 2 hours prior. He has no answers. I tell him that I have used RM florist and been very satisfied in the past, what has changed? Has there been an ownership/management change recently? And of course he says YES, new ownership has acquired the business/name in the recent past. Of course.. I'm extremely upset and waiting for a refund or I will be doing a charge back on my CC. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE : as you can see in the more recent reviews this is not the same service/product/professionalism as Rancho Mirage florist in the past. They are just operating of their name and reputation. Very disappointing read more

Initially I was not happy with this florist at all as it was unorganized they did not have a drop off time and both Nicole and Kay were very, very rude on the phone. After all this frustration already the arrangement did not look like what I ordered, this time when I called I spoke with Alex who was very professional and understanding of my frustrations, offered to have the arrangement remade and resent the next day.
