I placed an order with Andy at "Flowers by Veronica" for a Mothers Day delivery. They took my order and charged my card. Andy told me it would be delivered on Mother's Day per my request. Mother's Day came and went and no delivery was made. The next day I called to confirm if my order was met and Andy said they couldn't even find my order. He later found my order upon another phone call back to them and Andy told me they could not deliver the flowers and told me because of the high winds. They failed to call me and tell me they would not be able to make the delivery on Mother's Day. A courtesy call would have been nice so I could have at least made other arraignments for my mom. Very unprofessional and disappointing. Don't trust them with your credit information unless you want to be charged without services. Good job Andy, nice way to run the business. read more

My children For me for Mother's Day. They ordered Flowers By Veronica and the flowers came yesterday morning. Needless to say I was upset as the flowers looked like they were dead to start out with and the card stated happy Mother's Day your husband and kids. As my husband had passed away several years ago it was a bit of a shock . I sent a picture of flowers to the kids and they saw the card and got very upset as well as the fact that the flowers looked nothing like they thought they had ordered. I called the store and talked to a young boy name Andy who stated he was the manager. I told him I was very disappointed in the flowers but most of all that the card did not relay the correct message. He wasn't the least bit apologetic. The next day I called to request a callback from the manager. Meanwhile while I was at work a delivery guy showed up at my door to pick the flowers up. No one from the store called to tell me that they had arranged to pick the flowers up and refund my kids the money they spent on the arrangement. The delivery guy told me to come home immediately so he could pick the flowers up. I told him it was not convenient for me to to come home and that someone should've called me and let me know. The kids said well you still need to come home right now so I can pick them up. Who says that!! Needless to say I told him no and that he could come back at another time. This is the second time my kids have ordered flowers from Flowers By Veronica they sent me flowers back in July for my birthday and when I received those flowers they were dead within a day. I would not use this company again as the owner of the company which would not return my phone call very very unprofessional and the quality of their flowers is horrible. read more

I called from Northern Cal to ask them to make a beautiful arrangement with a St Patrick's Day look for me to be delivered to friends I had stayed with in Palm Desert. I spent $150 on the arrangement and when my friend sent a picture of it I was shocked at what I saw. It was so poorly designed and the look was not at all what I asked for. I am very unhappy with the floral arrangement sent to my parents for their 50th Anniversary. The order was placed two days ahead, not at the last minute and the arrangement was tacky. The phone representative suggested a bouquet of all white flowers would be elegant. I agreed for a moment and then said actually no, that was more my style but my Mom likes things very colorful. A red and pink theme was suggested next, but I said it sounded to cutesy and Valentine. I told them that we wanted to send something bright and exotic. The arrangement that was delivered was about 10-15 pink and white lilies with about 8 red roses, for a cost of $120.-. It had a yellow pussy willow type thing stuck in it. I looked up the cost of lily and rose arrangements online and the average is $40 to $75 (the $75 dollar bouquet had over a dozen roses in it). The remedy the flower shop suggested was to pick up the bouquet and refund my money or to exchange it for something else (no suggestion made). How weird and embarrassing for my Mom and Dad. No creativity whatsoever. Don't waste your money. read more

As a young bride, I was looking for beautiful flowers and beautiful prices.. I was on a tight budget! This dream was beginning to look very bleak and I thought I would have to settle for lackluster flowers or cut something from the reception...Until I came across Flowers by Veronica! Flowers by Veronica did and absolutely incredible job with providing flowers for my wedding. I ordered all of my bouquets and boutonnieres for me, BMs, GMs, and important family. Not only were they the most reasonably priced, but they also did the most incredibly professional job out of all of the flower shops in the area. Don't be fooled by their El Paseo location- by far the most well priced, accommodating and kind hearted people. I was initially hesitant because they priced my bouquet at nearly 1/3 of the price of other florists and I thought they were too good to be true....but they did everything they promised and more! Absolutely incredible work! The only tip I have is that they can be a little unorganized at times. They wrote everything I wanted down on a piece of paper, but I had to end up going in and making sure everything was how I wanted about a week before the wedding, only to discover they had completely confused half of the flowers. After clearing that up we did end up with 2 boutonnieres instead of corsages as asked, but other than that, I have absolutely ZERO complaints. I will recommend this flower shop to everyone and anyone who is getting married in the area! read more

I wanted them delivered to my fiancé at work, about an hour or so later he calls and says 'Hi, you know the vase bouquet I sold you, well I had to take out some flowers that were already sold to someone else..." So naturally I asked "what does that mean?" he informed me that they would add some different flowers to the arrangement.
