I attended their first event of the season for 2026. I was very impressed by the amount of food, vendors, entertainment, and how welcomed I felt attending. Their slogan says it all, "come for the culture, stay for the food" The food was delicious!! They had so many different options! Two attendees sitting across from us started sharing their food with us and expressed how grateful they were to have us join in their celebration. This night market is family friendly.

Very chill place just 7 minutes from Loma Vista. Easy to park, donations welcome for parking in their lot (tons of street parking). Beautiful lotus pond (did you know you can eat the seeds?!) with ample photo opportunities. About 10-12 stands set up around the area with various Laos foods, drinks, and desserts. There was a DJ playing last night when we went which was a cool vibe. There are places to sit and eat, too. My only downer is I wish there was a breeze! Lol. Everyone there was super nice and prices were decent.

Blending historic charm with a modern touch, it is far more than just a convenience store--it is a neighborhood institution. Inside, the market houses a bodega-style setup featuring a thoughtfully curated selection of local vendors, including Miguel's Salsa and Taqueria, one of my favorite local eateries. Having access to high-quality, artisanal, and locally sourced food in such a convenient and accessible location makes it a standout in Oldtown Clovis. Beyond its specialty food vendors, Peacock Market also excels in its everyday offerings. I can usually find my favorite chips, candies, and king-sized chocolate bars, along with an impressive variety of Asian candies and snacks that are often hard to come by elsewhere in the area. Their beverage program is equally notable. The market carries a unique and curated selection of spirits and drinks, including craft beers and hard-to-find whiskeys and tequilas, making it a go-to spot for discovering something special. What I appreciate most, though, is the atmosphere. As a local, veteran-owned business, Peacock Market serves as a welcoming community hub--especially for local veterans. It is clean, well-lit, and inviting, with a friendly, neighborhood feel that keeps people coming back.

Another surprise was the Red beans & Rice. You can't find a BBQ spot who serves that. Took some to go also. Definitely will be a repeat customer.

They guy behind the counter is always super cool, but it's their food that kept me coming back. The Mexican food is absolutely phenomenal. Their Monster Burrito, with shredded chicken, and spicy salsa, and everything on it, is the greatest burrito I've ever had in my life. Once in a while, I'd get Subway, and they make their sandwiches SO much better than most Subway Sandwich shops. Always a great selection of soft drinks, in the back of the store, too. But, the best part of this place, was the absolutely gorgeous, young Indian woman, named Jaspreet. She would always make my heart skip a beat, whenever I'd see her. I'm not sure if she's still there or not, but I hope so, or better yet, she should have taken over the new Loma Vista on McCall, as their Manager! I retired from Clark 15 months ago, but I truly need to get back to this place for one of their legendary Monster Burritos, and to see Jaspreet again!

She said the peaches are HELLA sweet. It was around 1100 hours when we pulled in as it was a perfect time to get some healthy snacks as we had been driving since 0700 hours. I was immediately taken in by its charm. It's a nice little roadside store run by a nice family. The girl working at the counter said her family just picked the fruits just that morning; and I believed her. Just looking at the nice quality of the products made me want to get a sample of each. We ended up getting some peaches and figs, and boy were they ever sweet. My cousin wasn't lying when she said HELLA sweet. The place also reminds me of a Norman Rockwell painting with its small-town charm, quaint, cute and nostalgic feel. It's draped in American flags and one big Old Glory prominently hanging on the wall. There's also an antique weight scale, a fruit washing station and an orange juice - make that freshly-squeezed orange juice maker. Nothing like a freshly-squeezed OJ to satisfy your thirst. Yes, it's HELLA sweet!

This is a cool location to check out the sunflower maze but be careful of bees…read more Also the maze is actually more of a stroll, not an actual maze. Please don't forget to donate to help keep the maze going every year and to purchase something from the fruit stand. Also don't pick flowers from the maze! I saw a couple of people doing this and that ruins the experience for the people after you. The sunflowers were huge and super tall. We went at 9am to try to beat the heat and even then it was beyond hot.
