My bad review is because they are NEVER OPEN when I go. Out of the 5 times I went, they were only open one time. I only go during business hours. Too bad because you can see through the fence and window that they have nice things. Get it together. read more

Hidden gem for sure! Pedro the owner was super helpful. I basically stopped on a whim here. Planning my daughters sweet 16 but was looking for authentic clay cups for vases. I found so much more. Not only did I find artisan vases from Mexico, there was tons of options. Molcajetes, decor, piñatas, dishes, embroidered clothing and serape tablecloths were a plenty. Great selection in candy and Mexican huaraches. Think pretty much anything you need for a fiesta. I bought tons of vitroleros for aguas frescas and he has both individual and large ones. He gave me a great deal on my purchase and even threw in a few things because I bought tons. I was ready to purchase online and it would have cost me more. It's not a huge store but you could be there hours looking at items. I even walked away with a couple loterías cards that were half my size for the party. If you plan ahead, the owner can get you most items directly from Mexico. I didn't even check out what was outside but several people stopped by to purchase pots and outside art pieces. Really great hidden gem in north west Fresno. Store has made custom piñatas before without hesitation and at great prices. Tons of Mexican candy and if you have a product that you want from Mexico in specific feel free to ask and they could possibly make it happen. Recently bought a well crafted clay chimney there. This place rocks! I was in Fresno and was searching for places that sell piñatas...this place popped up in my search. They really went above and beyond to help me. When I got to the warehouse-they had just shut down the store but the young man who was there said not to worry he would open the store back up. He had a huge selection of beautiful well made piñatas -I ended up with a large cute unicorn. They also make custom piñatas and have a huge stock of Mexican candy. I will definitely be coming back to make other piñata purchases! Disclaimer: they close around 5 (I believe) in the fall season -so get there early. read more

Went to Jalisco Market looking for a pinata for my sons first birthday. They didn't have what I was looking for and as I was leaving the cashier girl said they made custom ones. I decided to give them a try. I placed my order and gave them a pick up date for two weeks later but she said it would be ready sooner. It was about 4 days later when they called for me to come get it. Me and my husband went and were blown away! It came out way better then I expected. It was sturdy and able to hold about 9 lbs of candy. It took a beating by about 20 kids with a bat and still had to be broken apart. It was bigger than my son and was exactly the way I wanted it. The price was also great, $27 for a custom pinata. They also have a great selection of products from Mexico. I seen some cute banks and yummy candies. I also seen lots of cooking pots. The store is small but you can shop in the warehouse too. I would definitely stop in just to look around and see all of what they have. read more

If I can give this place negative Stars I so would. They are so inconsistent with their online hours of operation. Their doors where opened and unlocked, no employees to be found so we started looking around and after 5mins we where rudely greeted by the first employee. She didn't ask if we needed anything or how she could help us. She was visibly upset in the fact that we were inside the building looking around because she kept yelling "how did you get in since we don't open until 10 am". Mind you it was after 10:15 am!!!!! Never felt greeted or assisted what so ever. Shortly after that we were greeted by another rude employee asking what we were doing there and how we got inside the store. Extremely confused and annoyed I responded by telling her I came in thru the OPENED and UNLOCKED door. Both ladies avoided helping us, and when I did get a chance in asking a question about an item, she responded very angry by saying if I needed anything to look for it and if they didn't have it on the shelf they didn't have it. We where recommended by a friend so we traveled an hour to get to this place. NEVER AGAIN will I step foot in this disgusting establishment where you feel like your imposing. I have other family friends who have had very simalar experiences there and its very disappointing and sad to know you love the stuff in store but Hate their customer service! I hope the owner is made Aware of this Unfortunate incident so he can provide the proper customer service training for his rude employees. read more
