They are RACIST and rude to Black Women! My experience was a 0/10, and I DO NOT RECOMMEND! I went there for a service and was refused solely because I was a Black woman, and this wasn't the first time I had a negative experience here! The lady refused my service and lied saying she was "sick" as I watched her service a white and a Latina woman. I then stepped out and called inquiring about the SAME EXACT service just for her to say "yes, you can come now"! When I let her know I was the same woman who just was in the salon, she hung up on me. I then called back to ask for a manager and she hung up again. She REFUSES to service Black woman and is disgustingly rude about it! This place is disgraceful and does NOT deserve to be open for business! read more

I liked this place , I felt so beautiful when they did my lashes , they lasted about a week & a half $30 , someone else did my daughters lashes and they didn't do a good job they needed to fix ours the next day .... The lady who did my daughter who's chair is more to the back started talking in her language , she seem kinda upset . Second visit we both seen the same lady' looks like she really didn't wanna do my daughters, that very night my daughters lashes started to fall , and mine doesn't look to good , she had a attitude and she told my daughter if she has to fix something next time that she has to pay ( why should she of the work was trashy ) she was such in a bad mood ( lady in the middle chair) she was talking in her language and u could tell she didn't wanna do it ... This place has potential but the talking in your language with the client there is RUDE , and ugly and it was done TWICE, she' was so mad she did a job on me . I'm not going back. read more

I have no lashes left. They added way to much glue on TOP of my lashes not above MY lashes they were never going to come off. I lost all my lashes. I have like 5 bald spots. I also got a set done and two broke the following day. Set didn't even last a week. Again I lost all my lashes. My lashes will grow but the amount to vaseline I had to apply in order to remover was stressing. Losing my lashes!!!! Was disappointing. All of them I have nothing but a group of About 7 lashes on one side of my right eye and the rest had bald spots and not to mention how much this hurt. read more

Not what I wanted... very ugly! Horrible service lady's were mean about splitting my payment between two cards. I asked to fix it but they were gonna charge me extra for it. This was $55 sooo not worth it honestly. For reference it was supposed to be light purple ballerina French tips with a butterfly but they didn't let me get the nail art on it. I hate this so much. If I could give zero stars I would. This place was horrible. My lashes look terrible!!! The lady who did them tried to literally trick me at the end. I asked her to fill in this gap in my lashes, she goes "sit down". She then pretended to have lashes on her tool and told me to close my eyes and acted like she was putting something on my eyes. When I looked in the mirror, I said, "you didn't do anything". She pretended like she didn't just try to act like she had lashes on her tool. She then fixed it, needless to say my lashes look horrible. I should of listened to the reviews prior to coming here. DO NOT GET YOUR LASHES DONE HERE! read more

I've come here twice and the last time the service wasn't bad, I got a regular manicure and pedicure and the person who did my manicure cut off to much of my cuticle and a couple days later it got infected. As you can see by the photo it is really bad. I will not be returning again and would not recommend this spot. The infection is really painful. read more

Got a Brazilian wax here which was approximately ~70 with tip. The customer service was great, however I'm not sure if going here was the safest route for waxing. After I got it done I had some issues such as swelling, irritation and I almost couldn't walk without being uncomfortable. I understand sometimes this is normal but this went on about a week after. I almost had to go to quick care. I would just be careful with who you get waxed by sometimes the cheapest option isn't the best one. read more

A friend recommended I try Lotus for eyelash extensions. I was a bit apprehensive being that I've had bad experiences in the past and paid a lot more money. The eyelash extensions here were very affordable and amazingly and professionally done. I definitely didn't expect them to look this great. Staff was very attentive and answered all of my questions. I will update my review after 2 weeks and let you all know how the lashes held up. Jalpa was the technician and informed, that if anything went wrong with my lashes within 3 days, to come back and she do like fix anything free of charge. read more

Louis Threading was a nice addition to the area. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The salon is kept clean. Many different services are offered: -nails -waxing -threading -massages -facials -hair The prices are reasonable and they have a reward card which you can use to track the various services you have had. I came here for lash extensions because I was far away from my usual place and I needed a local place to get a touch up. The lashes looked great, were super quickly applied, and really really inexpensive and those are all wonderful things. However, the lashes were applied really poorly. None of the lashes were applied the right way nor were they separated! I ended up with clumps of extensions and glue, which is so bad for your lashes! In fact, one clump fell out and took at least three eyelashes with it. Had to pay to remove them less than a week later to make sure I still have any lashes and now I can't wear extensions because I have to repair the damage done. If you come here for lash extensions, they'll look nice, but they're gonna really damage your natural lashes long term. I don't think that damage is worth it. read more

So recently I decided to get an acrylic layover/wrap because I was going on vacation and wanted my nails to look good the whole time...as we all know manicures look nice but they never last more than a few days. Anna did my wrap and this was my first one in about 5 years, she did a GREAT job! They look natural and maybe like I just have a gel on. The wrap lasted over 2 weeks and looked good the entire trip. I just went back yesterday for a fill in and again she did a great job, because of her work I may switch to getting acrylic wraps regularly vs a manicure. I love her work read more

Blessed be the woman named Sami. My eyebrows were wild and had lost any shape they ever had. The last few times I've gone to other salons, nobody took the time to give them any proper shaping and I had just given up hope. I went in to Lotus Threading figuring I was due for at least get them cleaned up. Sami was sweet and I had jokingly said, "I want eyebrows like the Kardashians." Joking but like, let's be serious, I was being dead serious. She gave me a SPECTACULAR shape -- I mean, they've never looked so good plus we tinted them. I got a SHAPE and a TINT for $15 bucks. Seriously? That's insanely good. She was also sweet, kind, and I know I'll be back for sure. read more

I love this place I swear by Sami for eyebrows! Unfortunately she isn't with them anymore and the couple of times that I have gone bad it's been terrible with my eyebrows I usually thread and tint them. The last time they threaded way too much although I showed them a picture of how Sami used to do them , they assured me that it can be fixed when they tinted them.. By the time I was done my eyebrows where pitch black !! It looked like they where done with sharpie and they weren't even. I asked her to please go back and try to make them even she "tried" I got so frustrated I paid and left! It took a lot of scrubbing that night to try and bring my eyebrows to a normal natural color .. I really wish I could find out where Sami went .. I heard some mixed reviews about this place from my friends, but I was in desperate need to have my eyebrows done and decided to give it a chance. I must say, I am very pleased with that choice. The staff was very nice when I arrived; and let me know that there were 3 people ahead of me (about a 15 minute wait). But the waiting chairs are comfortable. The lady who threaded my brows made sure to ask how I liked them done, and occasionally stopped to make sure I was happy with the work. Worst nail service ! Everytime I visit this salon it seems like I'm always having to wait more than 30minutes, even if there is a person available to service me. I'm not sure what the deal is here but it seems pretty unprofessional, and this is the same location in Ridgewood that seems to always give me an issue. I was told I would have to wait 40 min for my nails and after waiting 20 min they said I couldn't be serviced at ALL!!! I would NOT recommend this place for nail spa treatment. read more

Been going here for about 2 years. They're super nice and friendly. You can talk to them about what you want and they will meet your needs. Even after they're done, If you have a request, they don't have a problem with tweezing another hair. And their prices are great compared to places in my area. read more

This place is clean but I came back only 1week after getting white tips that I paid extra to 'last longer.' They were lifting and it looked like an infection was growing. They only checked for the infection after my hands were in acetone for about 25 min. Yeah, I had to pay to have them removed, nails I were told that would last 2-3 weeks done in one week. read more

Very nice when you walk in to get your work done but completely opposite when you come back THE VERY NEXT DAY OR WEEK to complain about the work not holding up. I paid $25 plus 5 tip for eyelashes which 1 eye full side came off the same night/next morning. I called to notify them of the situation they said no problem and when I came in to redo them. They gave me an extremely hard time. I paid it to be done again and AGAIN the eyelashes are falling out the VERY NEXT DAY!
