She told me that she was an Esthetician, not a massage therapist. This is not legal! To do massage in the state of Missouri you must have at least 500 hours of massage therapy training plus take the state licensing test. An Esthetician may be qualified to massage a client's face and hands but not a full body massage. This Esthetician had no idea what she was doing so she just rubbed me lightly with oil and it was beyond annoying! I spoke with the manager Shelly and she kept telling me that the Esthetician can give full body massages which is not legal! Shelly told me that the Esthetician could give relaxing massages but couldn't work at a chiropractic office, which isn't how massage therapists work! Shelly didn't even know how many hours a massage therapist even needed to work in the state of Missouri.
