Beds are comfortable ( medium firm ) with good pillows and comforter. Bathroom was spacious rather than the typical cramped renovations you find in similar older buildings. The pub downstairs attracts locals (I spent 2 hours discussing politics at the bar). Breakfast is made hot to order, with several choices, including a full Irish breakfast. I had poached eggs, toast, and bacon - it was perfectly prepared. Coffee was excellent. They had a shed out back behind locked gated that I parked my bike. Friendly people running both pub and B&B. I suspect that you might get some noise from streets and pub during weekends, but that's part of what goes with being part of a pub. I stayed just one night while on bicycle tour during June 2016. Cost for a single with ensuite bathroom was 45 euros. My rating system is based on ***** = want to go back and try something else (or maybe order the same). **** = might go back again if there isn't someplace new to try. *** = would only go back again if friends wanted to go and no place else available. ** = would never go back. * = should be shut down.

The staff I encountered were all very friendly. The hotel itself is large, very well maintained. There are a number of function rooms and larger ballroom for weddings etc. The food we had on the night was excellent and again the friendly service was great. I was able to buy 3 pints for the price I pay for 2 here in Dublin so I would count that as a bonus. I doubt I would ever have the need to return but certainly if was in the area I would.

I checked in here for New Years Eve…read more It's a nice hotel, there's quite a nice, vintage feel to the place. Crooked stairs, old paintings. The staff seemed very rushed off their feet, understandably. The check in was quick, we made our way to the room which was four flights of stairs, there's no elevator, which isn't handy when you have to carry heavy bags or when you're drunk. The room was comfortable and bright. The bathroom was extremely old fashioned, with green tiles, toilet and bath. It could definitely do with updating! Breakfast was good, full buffet style. Hot food was served by staff, the rest was self-serve. Although, with the hangover I had, I couldn't enjoy the breakfast. But my goodness, the Juice went down a treat. The car park is tiny, it's almost impossible to manoeuvre a car around without almost crashing into another car. The hotel is right on the Main Street, beside a lot of bars, restaurants and shops. Overall, it's quite a nice hotel with very friendly staff. It could do with a little updating and maybe an elevator but other than that, it's great!

Our trip started a little rough on the first day due to delayed airplane and the inability to use our phones (Cell supplier issues). Once we reached our first hotel and were able to contact Ian, everything improved greatly. Ian planned a stay at Ballyseede Castle in Tralee on our anniversary and it was so very lovely. Did the entire trip go off without a hitch? no. There were a few bumps (none of which were major)--but when we hit a bump, Ian was there to help us figure it out--Once, the solution turned into an unexpected amazing experience! There are some things I will change next time, but that's a matter of personal preference. Ian did a wonderful job creating a relationship with us in order to give us the best experience possible. I definitely recommend using Go Irish Tours. We will use them again.

We promptly left her a deposit and booked our flights. A couple of days later, Aoife sent over a convoluted payment request. Since then we have not heard back from her. As you can see, They go by several different domaine names. When we booked, our CC charge was listed as "GoIreland" which has horrendous reviews. I can't believe that 'Go Iceland" can have so many good reviews on Trust pilot (maybe bots?). They have yet to responded to my request to refund my $1000 deposit. We filled a clam with Visa. AVOID AT ALL COST. .
