I'm disappointed on my purchase that I made at 2 Pl. Vendome store. I was excited to purchase a bag especially knowing the savings on the purchase and tax since I traveled from the US. When I was ready to purchase the bag, the sales rep. - Lola, asked me on how I would be paying. I informed her that I was from the US and had just arrived; and I was not familiar which method to choose and which would give me the best savings. I asked her if she knew and what people from the US selected on their purchases and she said "I don't know." They just pick any. I asked what's the difference and she said again I don't know. I looked around to see if she would ask someone but there were only a few sales people in the morning and they were tied up. I asked her again and she said I don't know. I ended up selecting US dollars only to find out from my hotel that the sales rep. should have known and should have advised me to select euros. My hotel told me to take the bag back - get a refund and repurchase the bag in euros. When I returned the next day, I was told it was too late and that if I returned it that the credit would be given to me in Euros not US dollars. I spoke to the manager who apologized (she said it was the store's fault) along with two other staff members. They said the sales representative should have known and she should have asked another team member as I asked her a few times. I was hoping to save extra money, and I'm very disappointed as I lost the additional discount. I will be reaching out to Client Service/France to file a complaint. read more

Torn about this location. While beautiful, I had a bad experience here. It was not very busy when we went and it's very spacious. (Though that gorgeous gold structure on the outside is no more). It's 3 floors (maybe 4?). The top floor is luggage and there's a lovely artist there handpainting custom drawings for the luggage. You can get drawings of your pets, your hometown, etc. on your LV luggage, how adorable. Waiting list until Christmas. My bad experience was this. First, my SA was not knowledgeable at all. Also, I hate to say it but I was totally racially profiled. I asked to see a couple bags (one was the mini Palm Springs Backpack). He brought up a couple bags but not the backpack. (And he kept trying to sell me some bag in Stingray. Hello, read the crowd). At first I thought he forgot about the backpack, but I'm pretty sure it was on purpose. When I asked again, he asked to see my passport and would not tell me why even after I asked a couple times. I suspiciously watched him walk away with my passport, and waited 5-10 minutes and he finally brought the bag and my passport (I'll be honest I thought he was doing something shady like stealing my identity). I was totally confused and the whole experience gave me a bad vibe. Didn't buy anything. I found out later (from my favorite SA at Chanel) that SAs will tend to do this with the higher sought-after bags especially if you're Asian (read Mainland China) or Russian, because they tend to buy in bulk and resell in their markets for profit or probably make knockoffs. I get that they want to sell to people who truly want the bag and I appreciate that, but come on, I'm not speaking English with a thick Chinese accent. Rude. read more

It was definitely too bad because he was so passionate about the brand & one of the best salesman that we have met in Paris hands down. This is by farrrrrr the best Louis Vuitton I have ever visited!! There was a line when I went but that line was for a reason! They don't want the store to be crowded and want to give each client an unforgettable experience which is totally understandable once you get inside. I was introduced to two Sales Managers who gave me a tour of the entire store with in depth knowledge of Mr. Vuitton and his settlement at Vendôme. They explained each piece of furniture and architecture. Took me (I was by myself) to every single floor and showed me special items. I purchased some boots and was shocked when they had a Palm Springs mini backpack in stock, the only one. I made sure I didn't leave the store without it! ALL other Louis Vuitton stores should take notes. Way better than the flagship at Champs Elysees who also have a line, but once you're inside it's still crowded without anyone to help! -_- This store even has their own special hot stamp for a cool souvenir. I collect hot stamps on various luggage tags as keepsakes for places I've been. read more

Great experience end to end. I am a normal person wearing normal clothes, and didn't get treated badly because of it. While in Paris, it was a must for us to visit the Louis Vuitton store as my wife is a big fan of their purses, perfumes, and accessories. We originally waited for over 30 minutes to go to the store at the Champs Elysees. The service was definitely sub par. We waited another 15 minutes to be assisted. After learning that they didn't have the items we wanted we decided to leave and visit a few other stores. We stumbled upon another Louis Vuitton store. We were pleasantly surprised that there were no lines and we were able to walk right in. After looking around for a bit my wife asked about a few purses. The salesperson that assisted us named Manon was very nice, patient and helpful. We ended up spending more time and money then we had planned but ended up with some really nice pieces. She even personally engraved my wife's bag even though they were already closed for the night. Thank you for a great shopping experience Manon! I have always been very excited about purchasing a Louis Vuitton bag in Paris so this was one of my first stops in Paris! The wait was extremely long and I was surprised how busy it was! I was still excited at this point and continued to wait for about 45 mins before I was matched with a store associate. I was hoping to take my time a little bit to ask questions and to see some bags that I was interested in but my male sales associate rushed me from the beginning to the end and completely ruined my experience. When I asked to see a couple different wallets he just looked very frustrated and annoyed and kept saying it was all he had and closed the drawer with all the wallets in it. When asked to see certain bags in different colors he kept rushing me to make a choice and I was very unhappy. I still purchased a bag and wallet which weren't my initial choices (since they didn't have my choices in stock) but the experience was ruined overall. Wish I had taken a picture of the associate but at this point I'm just upset that he didn't allow me to fully appreciate my experience there in Paris. Also, our boxes weren't packaged nicely with the ribbons which really sucks because I didn't realize that until I came back to the hotel. BEST LOUIS VUITTON EVER. I love and have bought a number of bags from this brand. And this store has by far the best service I've ever received. It was weird that security waved you with a wand when you enter but im sure something must have happened to have warranted a search like that. After that everything was smooth sailing. It was crowded but sales associates were available to help you with what you needed. I told them I would just have a look around and they let me be. I found myself going up to travel and luggage as I was there to check out the horizon 55. Moma was such a doll the whole time. Although they only had the floor models available, it was fine she said it was new and it was way up top that she needed to use a ladder to get it so I'm sure nobody has even tried to use it yet. She handled the luggages so delicately as if it were her own so I really appreciated that. Drinks were offered all the time unlike the stores in USA where sometimes even you had to ask for it. Anyway, Of course I fell in love with the luggage and bought it. I also went down and looked at the other floors, my boyfriend bought a belt and I was looking at the petit malle which they had a surprising amount of stock of. All in all, she showed me everything I wanted to see, was very receptive and very friendly. I dont know if she was new because she was asking a lot of questions but I didnt mind. That is how you learn right? Anyway after all my purchases, I didnt want to carry the luggage around with me because it was only the 2nd shop I visited of the day and I saw myself going to other stores and buying more so they let me leave my purchases there so I could pick it up later which was amazing because at the end of the day I finished all my shopping and just picked up my purchases at this store. The sales person was aloof and uninterested in assisting me. I had 4 items I wanted to purchase but only 1 was available. No suggestions for similar items were offered.
