What an absolutely beautiful flagship! I've been to Paris a few times, and each time ends up stopping here to pick up items for my family... they are huge fans. I do have a few of their SLGs. This time, it's a shopping experience for my sister and she found her splurge gifts. Happy for her bc what's a Paris trip w/o gifts? lol The selection is amazing, but being the flagship... some small items were out of stock, especially new drops and in popular colors. You get better prices here in Paris than at home, the VAT will add to that saving. The service was amazing! I forgot his name but he was funny and charming. They will queue you up to the next sales associate and you just need to wait a few minutes, and get yourself a glass of sparkling water!
Amazing flagship store. There is a little wait outside as is the case in all the luxury boutiques worldwide but once inside, one is blown away by the decorative efforts and design. The store is huge and opulent. When we were installed in confortable sofas, we were served excellent champagne while we waited for our sales assistant. We knew what we wanted and we were presented the leather piece without leaving our seat. Can't have it better. Even the payment is organized sofa side! Never seen anything like it. What an experience! PS Don't forget to fill in the tax free paperwork. It's a breeze to get reimbursed at the airport.
I love LV. Lifelong customer for sure. Are they expensive? Sure. Is their quality and customer service exquisite? Absolutely. This location is their original storefront! They took good care of us during our appointment. We never felt rushed. It was an amazing experience! Namaste!
Strangely, aside from the old historic locations to view in Paris, this Louis Vuitton attraction was on the top of the list for the wife. The exterior structure was a replica of a silver Louis Vuitton trunk which will soon be a magnificent LV hotel. No appointment required to enter the showroom but we waited in a line outside for twenty minutes. The two story showroom was an amazing sight with an array of LV purses, luggage and clothing. The wife was seconds from buying a $4,000 purse, I escaped that one.
Yes, had to see one of my favorite stores in the world. Louis Vuitton! Especially in Paris. We had to wait in a short line, but didn't take long before we are inside. I was surprised the associates were not on top of us like at home. They had every bag and accessory you can imagine available. I was told you get more for your money when you pay cash and then claim it at the airport. We worked out the price of a bag and could save about $600 if purchased. I wasn't on the hunt for anything in particular so passed up the chance to buy in Paris. I did have fun looking at all the item on the many stories of this large store while siping on a complementary glass of champagne.
Went to the store on Tuesday but forgot my passport. Returned Thursday to pick up a hat and a pair of shoes. Waited close to an hour and no one would help. Store was busy so didn't mind waiting. Eventually the manager, Eury, came over and said I would be next. I thanked him and informed him I knew what I wanted and just needed to check out. A couple came in after us and suddenly we became next next. This obviously angered me. Apparently they're not interested in my business so I'll take it elsewhere. Guess the random couple who came in to try stuff on was more important than a guaranteed sale. When I asked Eury for his card he claimed not to have one. Not sure if this is the correct spelling of his name or not. I don't know if was dismissed for being an American, being dressed casually, or being black. Regardless it was not a good experience. Je suis allé au magasin mardi mais j'avais oublié mon passeport. Je suis revenu jeudi pour acheter un chapeau et une paire de chaussures. J'ai attendu près d'une heure et personne ne voulait m'aider. Le magasin était très occupé, donc cela ne me dérangeait pas d'attendre. Finalement, le responsable, Eury, est venu me voir et m'a dit que je serais le prochain. Je l'ai remercié et je lui ai indiqué que je savais déjà ce que je voulais et que j'avais seulement besoin de passer en caisse. Un couple est ensuite entré après nous et, tout à coup, nous sommes devenus " les prochains après les prochains ". Cela m'a évidemment énervé. Apparemment, ils ne sont pas intéressés par mon achat, donc j'irai ailleurs. J'imagine que le couple qui est entré au hasard pour essayer des articles était plus important qu'une vente garantie. Quand j'ai demandé la carte de visite d'Eury, il a prétendu ne pas en avoir. Je ne suis d'ailleurs pas certain que ce soit la bonne orthographe de son nom. Je ne sais pas si j'ai été ignoré parce que j'étais Américain, habillé de façon décontractée, ou parce que j'étais noir. Quoi qu'il en soit, ce n'était pas une bonne expérience.
Our shopping assistant Nadia (5 stars) did an amazing job helping us find just what we needed! Such a wide selection of items, at a lower price tag than the US. Only 3 stars because when we were taken upstairs to personalize our items, the room was hot and they refused to bring us water despite asking multiple times while we waited over an hour to have our passports covers stamped.
While strolling along the Champs-Elysees, we stopped in to purchase sunglasses and perfume. Initially, we were going to turn around because of the line of people. The line outside was long, but based on what we were purchasing, we were allowed to go inside after about a five minute or less wait. The store was typical LV, but on a much grander scale. The place was a little bit of maze in my opinion. It took a few minutes to find our way around. It was relatively crowded inside and outside, but the checkout process was simple and efficient. Since it was a structured visit, it was a pretty quick visit with the exception of taking a little more time to sample other fragrances and sunglasses. The interior and exterior of the store were beautiful. I will definitely visit again.
Who knew there was this amazing Louis Vuitton café tucked away above the LV Dream exhibition? Walking in felt like stepping into a chic, tropical oasis, right above the Seine; this building is pure Parisian luxury. The pastries are all stunning to look at and all just as delicious, especially paired with a rich espresso. Prices are luxuriously high, like 6-11 euro for coffee, 16+euro for signature cakes, and seating isn't reserved, so finding a spot quickly isn't guaranteed. For fans of Louis Vuitton, the experience is both beautiful and indulgent.
We came here to buy a gift for Bae's mom. Ulysses helped us out. He was fluent in English and was able to provide excellent service. He was very patient with us as we went through multiple purses. He was able to help us find a specific bag that was the last one in stock. Very thankful. The one we got was about $2,350 with two tone brown. First time for me to be in such an expensive spot. Huuuuuuuuuuuuumangus store!!!!!! Wow oh wow! Love the high-end fashion! It was fun to window shop. I mean Louis Vuitton in Paris!?!? I think Yes lol So the prices for Louis Vuitton are always high, because it is high end fashion items. But the prices seemed steep for the norm. I don't know. Maybe I am just a dumb American and don't know pricing in Europe? But I expected priced to be lower not higher. It seemed like the prices were more than what they should be. Did inflation hit Europe too? What's happening here? I just window shopped. I'm not gonna spend 4k for a small bag. No thanks. lol It was still fun to check out the bags and wallets. This store is really big! There are different floors and everything. If you are wanting to buy something Louis Vuitton, you will surely find it here! No way you couldn't. They have a huge selection.
LV is the standard for high end merchandise. With their signature bags to all their accessories, LV has always commanded a high value for their items. Since Covid they have nearly doubled the price. A bag that cost $1800 in 2019 is now priced at $3200. This store is their flagship store in Paris. It is a 7 story monolith to LV and is wonder to see. The bottom 3 floors are open to the public. The rest are reserved for other business purposes. The selection they offer is varied from day-to-day. They carry nearly 80% of the items that are in their catalog but due to the sheer volume and space they only show about 40% of them. The services is impeccable if you can find a sales person. When you arrive, you'll be greeted by sales manager. He will usually let you walk the store or assign you a sales person. The sales person's job is to speak with you and understand your needs so that they can provide you with different options. They don't have every bag in every color, so be prepared. I witnessed many people disappointed. If you go in here with an open mind, you might find something very unique. In general, it's just an amazing store to visit to enjoy the product selection.
We attended LV Dream (free, but you need reservations) and my style-crazed teen had to get a pastry with a Vuitton logo on it, OK buddy, this is for you. The pastry was like 19 euros but his cappuccino did have a logo stenciled on it. My pot of tea was a fail. 9 euros and they give you a tea bag on the side with a pot of hot water? Seriously? This place is ONLY for Instagramming, not for a meaningful culinary experience.
My wife said that we have to stop by here on this trip... well we did! My first impression was that it will be the same store as the U.S. I was wrong, once you get in you are greeted by a hostess that directs you to a sales associate. On this particular day the store was very busy so we had to wait a little bit before someone could help us. My wife already knew what she wanted and so all she had to do was show Vincent, the person assigned to help us. Vincent politely told us that they sold out on what she wanted. I had asked Vincent if they had anything comparable, they did. Vimcent went to prepare purchase and he asked us if we wanted some beverage... my wife had champagne and I had an espresso. The staff were customer focused and this made it worthwhile. read more

I had a great experience visiting this store in my most recent visit to Paris, the place is huge and so busy that I had to make line for about 15 min. to enter the store. I made a mistake of not getting someone to help me when I arrived to the store the firs time and it was a mission to get one because the store was packed but we finally got one and it was very helpful. The second time was a lot better since I pretty much had an idea of what I wanted. I can't wait to go back to Paris and visit this and many other stores read more

Never did I think I'd actually wait in line to shop in any store but when all over the entirety of Europe did we see lines to get into Louis Vuitton, I knew what was coming And being a flagship store right on Champs Elysees, yup, big huge line. But the difference here was that I knew a bag I was hunting was only at this store so Mr & I had to get inside so we waited......for 20 min outside And I make the distinction of outside because we also waited another 20 min inside to be assisted.....and this was after placing our names on a waiting list. At least we got champagne while we waited Finally, the salesperson comes over and I'm shown the display model of one of the bags I was hunting.....which I'd already fondled myself. Uh, isn't there a pristine one in the back you could bring out since I *am* purchasing? And after asking about another bag, it is confirmed that they have the last one, in the entire world & of course I loved it..... So as it was Xmas, I decided to get both. I'd been a very good girl all year And of course, as with every LV store, they try to up sell you on their "exotic"pieces....nope. Not interested but we went through the motions & took a look Finally we are getting ready to leave and I had to specifically ask about delivery. Vendome does it & I'm not the kind of person who likes to schlepp big heavy bags all over the city, begging to be robbed. Would have been nice if they'd asked me first but they did agree to drop our purchases at the hotel so it all worked out So for being the flagship store, this met my expectations but they *did* have the 2 bags I was seeking so that has to make me a fan read more
The best louis store in the world hands down because it's Paris duh ! I was so in love as soon as I walked in the decor and all the products it's a girls fantasy. There's 4 floors so don't get lost! I had the pleasure of being shown around the store and many friendly workers greeted me with smiles and bonjour's. You can get something repaired here if you need to but the guy who does the repairs is only in once a week so you might have to leave your item there. No they don't ship it to you either. The best part of the store was the Damier stairs and walls it really caught my eye. 150 percent will be back read more
Visiting and purchasing from the flagship are what my designer dreams were made of. After standing in a 5 min line to enter the store, we browsed for browsing sake then set to the task at hand- the items on my list. I can prepared, with prices for the items I wanted to buy, and I highly suggest you come in knowing exactly what you want. The sales people are extremely busy as this location is bursting with sales, and they honestly dont have time for you to have a Bfast in Tiffanys moment browsing and asking to see every bag. So come knowing what you want. I waited about 20 mins for a sales associate to help me. Gabriele was a handsome and very French sort of man, and was exactly the type of French experience I was expecting. Curt, butler style, with the accent of course :). Once I approved the items, he took them to be wrapped and started working on my VAT tax forms. Purchasing from a lux store is very helpful, and I barely needed to do anything on the forms before turning them into the airport as I left Paris. If you are unfamiliar with VAT, it's a tax EU resid pay, but USA can file to get a percentage of it back. This makes a difference if you spend thousands of dollars! Overall, champs and all- very fun! Visitors: plan on bringing your passport so that they can take care of your vat paperwork right on the spot! -also if you already know what you'd like to buy take pix and have the item ready for the SA.. they will let you know if they even have it here! Yes as of 11-2017 we did save money because of the lower euro exchange and the vat. .83 to 1.00 You will need to check this when you plan on visiting. Yes this place is crazy.. tons of mainland Chinese tourists come in.. almost looks like tour busses drop them off... (then a mix of other country visitors) so I found some will push you, bump you, or grab things right in front of you with no regard to saying excuse me/or saying I'm sorry. Maybe cultural but its still extremely rude. It does tend to change the overall shopping experience here I found. -i came on a sunday morning around 11am and no line but super busy already inside. Note: this will not be the slower pace service you maybe used to in a usa based store... so get over it or just visit their other locations not on the main drag. Dont plan to pop in/out either as the SA's have to go between floors to chase down what you are looking for. There are 3-4 LV's around the city (yelp or google search before you come). The one in the mall is equally crazy so be mindful of that also.. and the wait for the vat paperwork Ive heard is a long wait. For many this location is an "attraction" so treat it as such... like being at any site in paris there is tons of tourists. All the staff (besides the tight security) seems to be running up/down finding stock, items, etc. I did a once over from the top to the bottom of the store, then found a staff who found a SA for me. Marc was delightful... looked up what stock he had that I wanted... -didnt rush me.. we looked at 10-15 pieces -he offered some pink champs as we we waited for him to track down a new piece I was looking for. Ended up getting a few things. -VAT paperwork was a breeze, offered free monogram which I declined. -he also offered to send my items via delivery service to our hotel (we ended up just calling an uber so we didnt stick out). Uber is super easy here and for the time savings to get picked up or dropped off anywhere its a huge plus! Note: Many of the classic lv monogram are actually made in Spain here at least when I came (Nov 2017). -So if you are coming and wanting your piece to say "made in paris" then you may have to look at other store stock or seriously just buy them back in the usa if that is important to you. -it was for me so some pieces I declined to purchase. The Louis Vuitton location at the Champs Elysees is the flagship location of this store in the world. When protests hit Paris this store was targeted for a reason. It's literally mobbed with tourists looking to get a hand on one of their thousands of products in the store. We were staying a couple of minutes from this store and I am glad we weren't far away as it took at least 8 visits for Rabia J to finally get what she wanted. They special ordered a purse for her and it ended up taking 2 days and several delays for it to arrive. In the meantime we were able to experience luxury at its finest and by the time we made our last visit we were regulars at this store and everyone pretty much knew who we were. They offered orange juices, coffee latte and water on different stops at the store. 5 star all the way. Great customer service and an excellent product. read more

Loved shopping at the original LV store! It was quite busy when we came, and there was a line at the door but it went quickly. Got offered champagne when they realized I wanted to buy something and wasn't just browsing, and picked up the Neverfull I wanted. I was worried it would be out of stock, but they were stocked pretty well! It is cheaper to buy it in Paris than the US for me, but check your prices and your exchange rate (can go to LV France website and your country's website and compare.) Bring your passport if you're eligible for detax! The LV customer service lady was so nice and helped with the form. Scan and drop off form at the airport, pretty easy. I could choose between getting ~10% back in cash or ~12% back on my credit card. I chose credit card for ease, and I'm glad I did because the line to get cash at CDG was long. I would definitely recommend this store! read more

You will wait in line and this store doubles as a tourist attraction. It's extremely crowded inside and actually pretty hard to get customer service. At least it was for us. I knew the bag I wanted and we toured the store first. On the way we found a pair of sunglasses in the men's section and had to ask a security guard to get us help from someone. The sales associate acted like we should be happy to use his time. We ended up leaving and going to another local LV where we got prompt and cheerful service to purchase a great bag. You can't argue the beauty of this store, but for my first 2k bag purchase I wanted great service too! Champs-Elysses fell short in my book. read more
I came mid-day, and the line was only about 15 mins, and the stock was still pretty good. Definitely would advise going earlier to get what you want. My friend and I went to another LV at the Lafayette mall, and after 30 mins, the line didn't move so we ended up just leaving. I would definitely check this LV first. Mélina is absolutely amazing. She was extremely patient with my friend and I, showing us all options from small key chain wallets to big bags. She spent over two hours ensuring we got the right products / colors. Additionally, we didn't know we needed our passports, so she put our items on hold, made us an appointment to come back, and even saw an item we wanted later in the day, and put it on hold since it was the last one (without even asking). Then, she texted me the next morning letting me know that some of the other items were available. Never had such amazing service in my life :) read more

My friends and I were really disappointed in this LV flagship store. We came in and waited 30 minuets to have someone help us. We even sat down and saw someone who came before us get help super fast. When we asked a girl who worked the floor for help, she said we had to wait... when we said we were waiting and where can we ask, she said to ask her manager... which we ended up doing. He came and provided someone to help us. After waiting so long (and the store was closing) we were all turned off. They did give us champagne ... which was good... read more

How can you come to Paris and not visit?! My husband and I came to Paris for a long weekend and decided I could splurge on my first LV. What better way to get your first LV than at the flagship store? We came when they first opened, so we didn't have to wait on a line to get in. The store is huge and immaculately kept. The sales people are helpful. I didn't get one of the manager's name, but he helped us and made sure we were comfy. Boalin was our sales person and she helped me find the perfect bag. We were offered beverages while we waited (coffee not champagne since it was too early). We were in and out in an hour. I definitely left as a happy customer. read more
An army of staff greet you as you walk in, and no wonder: all the chaos is on the ground floor. Shoppers flock to and fro, searching for the best merchandise to leave with. You're probably in no danger of getting trampled, but window shopping isn't easy. If you need a breather, head upstairs where the crowd (or lack thereof) is more reasonable. Thanks to salesperson Saori for helping us, plus providing tax forms so we didn't have to pay local tax - the biggest draw in terms of savings for out-of-town visitors, of course. LV employs an impressive advertising machine, and their flagship store is appropriately opulent. Beyond bags, their clothes and shoes dripped money. Almost wish I wanted something, but I'm glad I'm not into luxury goods... at least, those I can't eat. read more

Ahhhh Paris, what a beautiful place! When one wants to purchase a Louis Vuitton bag, the place to do so is at the original flagship LV store at the Avenue de Champs-Elysees in Paris. What an amazing experience that I will never forget. Even better is the fact that I saved $500 purchasing my handbag here rather than just purchasing it back home (word of advice: make your purchase in euros, not USD to maximize your savings). Upon arrival to the store, I noticed that there was a short line down the block filled with tourists and a bunch of teenagers who I'm sure weren't going to purchase anything. Once they accepted that they weren't planning on purchasing anything, they moved out of the line, and I was in the door in about five minutes.I'll admit that I read the reviews for this store and set my expectations accordingly, so I conceded that I was going to have to wait a few minutes to be approached by a sales associate, but once I did, he was mine and mine only for the full two hours that I was there. The store itself is beautiful. About eight huge floors total, with me actually estimating about five floors full of actual merchandise. One floor seemed to be like a lounge, another floor was for customer relations (in which I received my initials custom tailored on my bag for free). And lastly, the top floor consists of a museum in dedication to Mr Louis. The store was also filled with many books and magazines related to both art and fashion, which apparently was very important to Mr Louis Vuitton. My sales associate was extremely sweet, and also very attractive. He spoke Spanish, Italian, English and of course, French. He told me that most of the associates that work there speak about four or so languages, with English being the most important. He asked me what I was interested in and carefully walked me around the whole entire store, picking out things he thought I would like. He also emphasized for me to take my time and not rush into a decision. Oh yeah, and during this time, I was supplied with several glasses of champagne, Veuve Clicquot to be exact. I suppose they thought that getting me tipsy would make me spend more money, but I pretty much had my eyes on one specific bag. The icing on the cake was that they let me pick out some designs and color to get my initials on my bag for free. I am so happy with my purchase and I have already determined to buy another bag on my return trip to Paris. It's definitely worth saving up to come here to make your LV purchases. The only thing I wish I had on my bag was a tag that indicated that I bought it at the Champs Elysees store. Also, it was really helpful that they filled all of the VAT paperwork out at the store, so the process was quick and painless once I got to the airport. read more
It was a cold snowy blustery day in February in Paris, France. Walking down Champs Elysee I see a 2 story LV store. I thought what's the harm in browsing. I'm NOT buying. Before you enter you walk on the red carpet and pass through a security check. Lucky me in the harsh weather - no one was in line. The store is beautifully laid out. They don't display all the goods. You have to ask for it & they wear gloves when handling the purses. Some of the staff are bilingual and quite helpful. There's no pressure to buy. As I was walking around the store I was texting my friend in California who was in Paris a few years prior. She was encouraging me to get a purse as she found it to be cheaper in Paris than in the US less VAT. Hard to believe. Louis Vuitton & cheap, an oxymoron. Great to be able to google anything anywhere so I started comparing US vs. Paris pricing and found that my friend was correct indeed. Converting Euros to US$, less VAT, It was cheaper in Paris. As I was looking at purses Phillipe a nice Frenchman offered me some Champagne, a powerful sales tool, hypnotic effect made me choose one I really liked a Croisette. As I was ready to buy I asked for the Valued Added Tax (VAT) refund document & learned that it's common & can be easily produced. You must present your passport to prove you're a visitor. Important tip: the VAT refund doc requires a Customs stamp when you exit the EU country. You must have the unused item with you to show Customs. Also look up EU VAT online for more info. Make sure you have enough time before your flight. Before I got on my flight home from London I got my docs stamped & was able to drop the stamped envelope at a post office box (Poste) in the airport. Cool thing happened. As I was looking for the Poste to mail my document I asked an employee at Gatwick where it was. Somehow started talking about my hometown Jacksonville & she got so excited as she was a Jaguars fan & was planning to visit to see a game. Small world indeed. read more
I don't really like Louis Vuitton and its monogrammed tyranny of the handbag world, but I never visit Paris without coming to the store on Champs-Elysees. My review will be limited because as I have never bought anything at a Louis Vuitton, I do not tend to flag down its sales associates. Still, I will tell you why you, the average tourist, should check this place out. First of all, the building is extremely impressive. It towers on a busy corner of Champs-Elysees, and it couldn't be more ostentatious if it were a hot air balloon shaped like the Pope. It has huge display windows and massive gold letters spelling out LOUIS VUITTON on every available surface. Once you go in, you'll find the store is as massive as it looks. The main floor carries the accessories, naturally, and you can look at the pretty clothes upstairs. The clothes, I will say, are gorgeous, with museum quality construction and prices. The entire store is mobbed with tourists, and especially with Asians. It's true, my people are total incorrigible label whores. In fact, one of the prime tourist attractions of the Louis Vuitton store is the Asian tourist presence itself. I was once told that on many days you can see a line of Asians out the door of the Louis Vuitton Paris shop. I've only seen it once, but it was there clear as day. To be honest, the crowd was more mixed than I expected, but it was still a fun sight. Even if you're not a fan of the L and the V, if you find larger-than-life retail and consumer mobs interesting, stop by this store. read more

Huge and beautiful flagship store in Paris. For any luxury handbag snob this, Chanel, and Hermes is a must when visiting. I know I can't afford Hermes, plus to even be on a waitlist for a Birkin you would have to be an existing client, so no visiting Hermes. I got in before there was a wait outside, security checks you in and then you are free to roam. The store is three stories with a ton of merch. But no customer service at all, despite being very busy, they could at least acknowledge you. That's okay though, since nothing really peaked my interest, and because I graduated to Chanel earlier this year! Snobbie, comment, yes, but hey, that's what the designer handbag world is about! read more
This store has prime location...across the street from Arc de Triomphe in Champs Elysee. It has multi-floors of shoes, bags, belts, clothes, accessories, etc. They have the latest styles. I started shopping mid-day and got 2 purses. My family and I were on a mission to get our dog a collar which was difficult to find - not because it's rare but because the sales associates weren't sure where they keep dog collars. We asked 3 different sales associates who gave us wrong information. We were ready to give up after an hour of searching but the extremely long line of people outside waiting to get in the store motivated us to stay in the store - we were rewarded. The best part of this store is how attentive the SA's are. There's plenty of them so each customer pretty much gets his/her own SA. read more

How to I start my review. My sales person who helped me and my friend was amazing. First of all I'm one of the most indecisive person when buying stuff. Dora, like "Dora the explorer", that's how she introduced herself was very patient with us. This place was huge, I walked around the store before she found us and I was so lost and didn't know where to start. Once she knew what we both wanted, we stayed in one place and she went all over the store to get what we wanted. I think she made 10+ trips. Over all the store looks great and Dora made our visit pleasant. read more

This is a huge LV store. I bought my Babylone MM and still excited on the savings since it's much cheaper in Paris than the US. The place is busy with tourist, so it may take you awhile to get service. But if you are coming with lots of money, and plan to purchase bags that are in the 5 figures, you'll have more than 3 staff helping you. Believe me, I witnessed it at closing time! However, even if I only bought the Babylone, I received exceptional customer service. My bag was 30% less in Paris than if I bought it in the US. read more
Thankfully, I came in on a rainy day and there was NO WAIT! AMAZING and very lucky, Jesus wanted me to buy something! Going to the Flagship store is not just a shopping trip is it an EXPERIENCE! Even if you've been to other stores, if you love Louis Vuitton you MUST visit the store on the Champs-Élysées! I came in to look at a couple pieces, possibly a wallet as I had just purchased a purse at the LV store in Charleston before I left home. I was promptly set up with a lovely Sales Associate (SA) and seated at a counter on the second floor. The SA was very kind, offered me something to drink, the Champagne was nice but I started with a coffee, which was yummy. A lovely new friend was shopping next to me with her husband and adorable children and she just finished looking at a wallet which was just released. She said that she just finished a large vacation and was deciding on a bag and passed the wallet to me! I FEEL in LOVE! The SA did not pressure me, she was very patience, offered me some champagne and my new friend encouraged me to take it home and I DID! Two years later, I am still in love with the wallet and I use it every day and it looks just as good as the day I bought it. The SA asked if I would like it personalized and where they were able to execute my initials. We then promptly and easily finalized my purchase and she very clearly explained how I would handle the VAT tax as I still had to travel back to Germany. I wish I remembered her name but she was lovely. Lastly, I was escorted to an elevator which took me to a higher floor where the personalization was completed on site. The Personalization suite is simply exquisite, there are vintage luggage pieces up there which are amazingly fabulous. I was so disappointed in this store. We were right beside another LV store in Paris earlier in the day, but I told my boyfriend everyone loved this location more so we should take an Uber here. That was my mistake one lol. Next, when we arrived we had to stand in line, which I knew was a possibility because the store is so popular. We stood in line, and a princess in front of us lit a cigarette and was blowing it right on my face. The staff was staring at her, and rolling their eyes but didn't make her estinguish the cigarette until just as she was walking in the door. None the less, I was so excited to go into this store and dreamed of buying my first LV in Paris, then having it hot stamped while I waited. I'm not sure what went wrong here, but I can only guess I was judged by the staff. I was not in sloppy sweats or a t shirt, but I was wearing tennis shoes from walking around the Louvre all day. I looked very presentable in my opinion, and I couldn't even get staff to assist me. They had people sitting at the counter showing them bags, but I couldn't even get anyone to look at me. I ended up searching out a woman salesperson and asked her if she spoke English. She said "of course, we all speak English in this store". I thought, oh great, they're all ignoring me lol. Anyway when I asked her for help and for the bags I was interested in, she acted as if I was a burden. I was very snubbed and not cared for at all. I actually walked out of the store upset with my boyfriend. Terrible, borderline humiliating. I decided not to visit any more LV stores in the city because I didn't want to go through a repeat of that mess. Then, on the way back from my trip, I saw a location in the airport. I walked in, was treated like an actual guest, and walked out with a bag that I never intended to purchase, but fell in love with. Purely design-wise, the Louis Vuitton flagship is GORGEOUS. Truly a LV lover's dream. It's very easy to get lost in here {VERY easy}, as the store kind of spirals around itself instead of having clearly separate floors. Whether that's a good or bad thing is up to you. ;) That being said, I was disappointed with the quality of service I received. I arrived to the store slightly before it opened for the day, and was among one of the first in the store. I was greeted with the typical "bonjour madame," but was not offered any sort of help. Instead I ran around the store trying desperately to find help, however just kept getting directed to other departments in the store by groups of sales associates chatting with each other. Overall, I felt very dismissed and as if I wasn't taken seriously or respected as a customer. It felt very condescending. I've encountered this before at a Louis Vuitton store in the US Midwest, however I wasn't expecting that to be the case at the flagship. I understand that I'm likely younger than the majority of Louis Vuitton customers {under 21}, however I didn't come in wearing a sweatsuit or some sort of wildly inappropriate outfit. Even if I did, I still should've been treated with the same respect as everyone else. I was genuinely trying to shop. I had several items in mind, and kept having to go up to a different SA every single time to ask if they had it. They would give me a "oui" or a "non," then turn away, or they would point me to another section of the store entirely to ask someone there. I finally did manage to find a willing sales associate who was very friendly and willing to work with me, instead of just answer a singular question. She was really nice and very helpful. While visiting, keep in mind that this will likely be longer than your typical LV visit. This store is really very big and SAs are constantly having to run up and down to track down whichever pieces you're looking for. Between the exchange rate and VAT refund, you can end up getting some good prices for LV! The three stars are mostly for the beautiful design and atmosphere of the store and the one sales associate I did find to help me. If the store wasn't so gorgeous, it would probably just be one or two, because the quality of the service just wasn't "there" for me. read more

So organized, people lining up like any other places here in Paris, the supervisor assigned you a salesperson... Toured you the shop, got mom a latte, 2, 3 lattes later... So you can't just browsing here, you are almost obligated to buy! Because you feel as you are taking their time, and you feel bad, and even you can't afford it, you had to buy! (I'm the broke ass one! If it wasn't for mom, I looked at the bags, and calculating how many Michelin Stars dinners and Grand Cru wines I miss! It's an overwhelming feeling! I just can't, I simply can't!) How many Louis Vuitton does a girl really need? For mom, never enough! Upstairs was a nice and fashionable selection of bags that only offers in Paris! So chic! Dad shook his head, enjoy Paris fresh air after the rain. Happily carried mom's shopping bags. Shopped around a little more. Got on Métro 13, to go home with grandma. You have to spend money when you are in Paris! Mom demanded and reassured dad and I that. Note: they forgot to get mom the tax form! Fail! read more

Shopping at the LV on Champs de Elysées...my dream desire came true. We obviously made this our first stop since I was in search of the Graceful bag and if this location didn't have it then I'd know to boost the other LV locations around the city. There was a short line to get in but it moved very quick. The line was mainly for the security officer to check guests bags, so be prepared to open your shopping bags and purses and any other bags you're carrying. This store is HUGE!!! Multiple floors of purses, clothing, luggage, shoes, jewelry, perfume and colognes WOW! They also have an on-site stamping service where you can get your item stamped with your initials ... or anything... for me, I purchased the Graceful bag (still in awe of how beautiful she is) and had it stamped with the LV Eiffel Tower. Service here was great! I mean the store is so busy so it was originally difficult to find some help but when we did it was great. We approached a representative of course by greeting her in French "bonjour" and asking if she spoke English to which she did. She was VERY nice. I showed her the picture of the bag I wanted to which she checked inventory on her phone and put me in queue for service. The wait was about 10 minutes. It was in the 40s outside so being in here felt nice even though my family complained that the store was so hot and stuffy. Which I will admit that it was a bit warm. When my turn was up, the lady walked over with a sales representative and were greeted by her. She was also very friendly. I showed her the picture of the purse and she went and grabbed it, presented it to me and explained it was the last in stock which I already knew from my conversation with the other representative. This baby was MINE. I shook my head and told her I'd take it and also asked if I could get it stamped. She explained where the stamping would go and confirmed with the stamper that it was possible to place the LV Eiffel Tower where I wanted it. She took me over to the stamping station and had me pick out the color that I wanted and made a suggestion of gold which goes really well with the purse coloring. She checked us out and since we didn't bring our passport she gave me the receipt and told me to come back with my passport so that she can fill out the VAT paperwork for me. Let's just say visiting this flag site was a must. Security staff were easy to work with to get customers in line and staff inside were very warm and welcoming. Not too standoffish like other LV or Chanel stores I've experienced in the past. DELPHINE was our personal shopping LV connoisseur and we were truly lucky to have been paired with her. She was genuinely friendly and extremely patience and helpful throughout our two days shopping at LV(wehadto come back and look for her since she wasso delightful to work with). Answered every little bit of question we had, searched for everything we were looking for( kinda relieved lots of items had been purchased out of stock). She made sure our glasses were topped throughout our mission to purchase extravagant luxury items at Thai store and surprised us with some edible macaroons on our last day! We were kind enough to share with another little girl with her family :). Who knows. We may come back tomorrow for one more day with Delphine before we leave Paris. . I've told my bf that he needed an upgrade for his wallet. I decided I would get him an LV wallet once we get to Paris. The employees there are very friendly and they offer refreshments while you wait to be helped. I think we waited about 30-40 minutes before someone was available to help us. We knew what kind of wallet we wanted and asked to see the different designs. Once we settled on the perfect wallet for him, we were offered champagne while we wait for papers to receive our refund (since we brought our passport) and receipt. My bf wanted to get the complimentary engraving inside his new wallet. During this process, you get to choose 2-3 letters, the size and color of font. It was an awesome experience to watch them do the engraving. The bf got to leave Paris with a nice souvenir personalized with his last name. read more
