I've never once had a bad experience or bad product from them. Wish they had more rec northern lights indica strain but they selling out so fast just shows how awesome their product is :) I still can't get over how adorable their remodel is and they even offer discounts for reusing bags, jars and recycling. This is a super chill place that feels relaxing and not stressful. It is pretty classy compared to some of the other dispensaries. It is clean and brightly lit. The quality and variety of the flower here is consistently superior. They carry Natty Rems in addition this their own strains! The prices are solid and they have daily rotating special on both the medical and rec sides. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The bud tenders are knowledgeable without being at all pushy. After haphazardly trying multiple dispensaries in Denver my husband and I stopped in to NL hoping to try their famous Northern Lights strain. Now six months later we go to no other dispensaries in Denver and in fact drive from Aurora to Edgewater to shop at NL weekly. The staff greats us warmly each time and treats us like welcome friends stopping by for a quick visit. I've not had a strain there I've not liked and have found a many new favorites. Vortex with its rich sweet smells and clear peppy head buzz, Nebula with its unique stone and fully body soothing effect, Cannatonic T with high CBD and some THC for pain, medical issues, and still a mind tickle, Kaboom bursting with THC and sending you straight to high town on the express train, Jilly Bean's euphoria blanket high making even the toughest introverts chat happily, Honestly I could probably list every strain they have and tell you about its delights. NL grows organically and their tender care for the plants sure shows in huge flower buds with snow like dustings of THC crystals. I've seen buds there so big you kind of need to laugh because it feels so absurd to see a bud as long as my hand. If you're interested in smelling the strains all their flower has rich and complex smells which speak to how well they care for and cure the cannabis. I've learned to easily identify my favorite strains just from the strong fragrances of their cannabis. I can't recommend NL enough. Stop by, talk to the wonderful people there, enjoy the experience, try some of their bud, and you'll be going back to them over and over just like us. Also check out their pre-rolls; NL uses the shake from the same strains they sell so the joints are POTENT and strong. I got myself a Vortex/Kaboom pre-roll a bit back and spent hours enjoying a charged up and blissful THC haze. Since the new marijuana laws have come into effect, the quality of service and products has gone down hill at Northern Lights. They no longer care about their medical patients. If they are out of something, they offer to sell me recreational products at the MUCH higher cost.....It's all about that dollar folks!!! I'm serious here. They take you into this tiny room. Hardly any edibles. They claim they can't get them because the companies are not doing their jobs but when I point out that I can get those edibles at different dispensaries they shut up and have nothing else to say. It's all weed at Northern Lights. I guess that is ok if you are a weed smoker. I have COPD and cannot smoke weed, so this dispensary is basically useless to me now. I even changed my primary care giver because of their crap. They are not even my last resort choice for buying anything to do with cannabis. read more

Used to be a good dispensary but due to a lack of quality control has spiraled downhill. When you are offering marijuana with seeds in it for $41 while everyone else is charging less with no seeds show you something. This place is right by my house. I called at 6:45 to ask if they sold recreational and had edibles. I'm suffering from terrible body aches and am generally miserable so I was excited for relief. I arrived at 6:49 & was met by another patron exiting the bldg claiming they were closed. My fiance called and asked to speak to a manager. We were told none was available and that they had gotten SO busy in 4 mins that they could not accept any more patients that evening. I don't appreciate being lied to in order to cover up incompetence. Now I still feel terrible and have no meds thanks to the time wasters at Northern Lights. They won't be getting any more bsns from me. read more

these guys like most dispensaries in Edgewater are open til midnight. i had to come here for a vape cartrige after my normal spots closed at 7pm. the wait was average to long (as expected) and service was average to good. they have a pretty corny system to manage waiting parties. each party is given a flash card with a different strain of cannabis on it. mine was Querkle. when their was enough room in the store for me to wait there, they called out Querkle! and i had access to the comphy couches as the budtenders wrapped up with their current patients. about 15 mins after entering the front door i was helped they had almost zero selection of vape cartriges. i say almost because they had 2 kinds, expensive and super expensive. i went with expensive. slightly cheaper with my industry discount. it was a brand i was unfamiliar with, but i was out of options. it didnt work at all. pissed off, i went back to return the product. i was nervous as i noticed NO EXCHANGES NO REFUNDS signs plastered all over the place. but all it took was my budtender asking the manager, a quick look at my receipt and i got my cash back immediately. i went ahead and bought an eight of skunkberry while i was there. it was awesome. bottom line: ok service, bad selection of cartriges, pretty good weed. i wont be returning. if i hadnt gotten my money back so promptly and if their skunkberry wasnt so dank it would be one star. read more

This was my favorite dispensary. I didn't mind driving the extra 5 miles and paying more than average because they always had the nicest nugs in town. Now since they were bought out the last 2 times I received nothing but pebble size buds. I can get that anywhere, and definitely a lot cheaper. Won't be back. read more

**UPDATE** - Prices have gone down from what is shown in the pictures - 1/8th is 50-something now. This place is the best. They have a wide selection of product...too many options is a good problem to have! We have personally shifted from straight up bud to vape pens, and we are really satisfied with what they have. You WILL have to wait for a little while if you go during peak hours...like weekdays right after work, anytime during the weekend, etc. Not a big deal, you just wait until your strain is called. By that I mean they give you a card with a strain name on it and they call you that way :D I have never had a bad experience here. The entire industry is cash only as you should know...and there is an ATM onsite. My bud tender told me how much the cost would be for my purchases, and my dumb ass goes to the ATM and takes out $120 when I should have taken $140. I tell my bud tender that I just did that dumb thing, and he said no problem, we can work with that, no need to go back to the ATM. AWESOME. It's actually VERY refreshing to go somewhere where the employees are genuinely happy doing what they do. Go figure. read more

I love this place! The budtenders are awesome and passionate about their product. They also have a great variety of options to choose from. Although they might be a little bit pricier than other stores, I don't think I've gotten anything there that I was displeased with. They also have specials every day, so if you have something you are looking for, try checking out their daily specials to get a deal. Everyone here really cares about your health and well being, they will do all they can to help you find what works best for you. The quality of the medicine is far superior than many other dispensaries in Denver!! From time to time I stop by other dispensaries just to see whats out there so I know. These people are more interested in quantity not quality. The grow staff really cares about there plants. I am new to the world of CBD. It is amazing. I have chronic pain in my knees, (osteoarthritis). I hate taking prescribed painkillers. I'd rather live in pain, and I did for years. My friend, Marilyn kept pushing me to try CBD oil. I found Dr Morrison to get my medical card. I tried CBD oil for three days, only to have continued pain. Day 4, I woke up to NO PAIN! I take just 25mg/ml 4-5 daily to keep a steady level in my system. I love being pain-free. I no longer take anything but 5 drops of HI-CBD tincture, a few times a day. Although I haven't visited a dispensary that I did not like, Northern Lights was my favorite. I think what sets them apart is their very knowledgeable staff. Our budtender in particular was extremely helpful in picking out a strain that would help with my wife's lower back pain. He also recommended a nice topical salve that I'm sure we'll come in handy. Haven't had a chance to sample the goods just yet, but judging by the look/smell, this is some of the best stuff I've ever come across.
