I am a business traveler and I have been to this store numerous times over 4 separate business trips. Like a kid in a candy store, I have also hit many of the other dispensaries in town. I have one word that best describes this store, Consistency. Consistently high quality strains; Consistently knowledgeable and friendly bud tenders and staff; and consistently the best prices. A special "Thank you" to Zach for being extra patient as I asked every question about every strain. Since I generally stay downtown, and it is a short 15 minute walk or 3 minute cab ride from almost any hotel, it is always the first place I go after I check-in to my hotel. As an added benefit, if you are from out of town and are short on supplies, there is a very good accessories shop next door that has a great selection of pretty much anything you need. In my experience, you cannot go wrong with MMJ America. Certainly not at this location. It will be my first stop on my next visit. read more

I was here from Florida the weekend of the St. Patricks day parade (nice weather), however you all need to learn how to continue the festivities even after the parade. Anyway, MMJ like a few other shops I visited in the area were all like mattress salesmen with their product, very knowledgeable but myself being 50 something and "partaking" longer than they have all been alive, I just wanted to smell ,pinch the bud, purchase, then be on my way. All in all though, they were very friendly, and $15-$25 lower on recreational out of state 1/4s (the limit) than neighborhood competitors. I will see you guys again at the end of May. by far one of the worst dispensaries in denver. none of the budtenders know what they are talking about. if you want good service and cannabis products don't go here it's nice they have such a unique check in with the camera but too bad thats the most exciting part. i wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. read more

I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I felt the whole time like I was in a bad Guy Ritchie film. The whole process was not only cold, but rushed and frankly unnerving. The pot and edibles were good, the value I imagine was good, but I felt rushed and like "dear God, another pot noob" by the staff. BEFORE YOU SPEND A DIME At this establishment that will still try to sell you their "top shelf" bud that looks worse than their $60 oz "special" - which still isn't that great, and exactly what you would expect for the price, maybe you would like to hear about how they choose to conduct their business. I had the unpleasant honor of working for this company for only a few days and very quickly realized that they only have a handful of customers a day for a reason. Although they believe their prices are competitive, anyone who knows quality would rather go elsewhere and pay the difference. Some people do smoke heavily, but I doubt they would keep coming back if they could really finish an ounce in less than a day. Kinda makes you wonder what people are doing buying an ounce special three days in a row, right? Selling products just to sell defeats the purpose of an industry that has plenty of people working hard every day to make sure they are doing their best to keep their products from being resold. At MMJ, they just want their products out the door & where it ends up doesn't matter. During my employment, we were told to park in the lots outside and bring in proof of our payment to be reimbursed. I did so, and received a ticket on a day that I had given my slip to the manager and did not receive my slip back. I asked for my slip, or even a copy of it, in hopes of disputing the ticket since I have no previous violations and would have liked to keep it that way, since I had, in fact, paid for parking that day. Long story short, I was told to pay the ticket and that I would be reimbursed because they no longer had my original slip and only had their records of reimbursement. Seems like it would be easy enough to get paid back since they knew 1.) I had paid for parking that day 2.) They had paid me back for parking that day, right? Fast forward to almost two weeks later, I still had not received a response to my email which included the ticket and the receipt of payment, so I emailed the lady "in charge of the money" only to be first told that they were not going to pay it because they had already paid $250 for my key badge, which was untrue and completely unrelated. When I said that my key badge was actually from June, six months before my time at MMJ, she told me that she had confused me with someone else but that the company, specifically one of the owners, was not willing to pay for the ticket. She proceeded to tell me that it is not the fault of the company's because I should have made a copy and kept the original and that it is my responsibility "to do my part." Although I do agree I should have "done my part" - I think my part should have been to not trust a company that very obviously does not care about anything except making money any way they possibly can. This place is a joke and if they are really wondering why they aren't selling more, it doesn't have anything to do with needing a selling script which is very clearly posted for customers to read as well, and has everything to do with the quality of product and a staff who is unprofessional. Please do yourself a favor and spend your hard earned money elsewhere and leave the garbage to be resold on the streets. I hope MMJ takes the $75 that is owed to me and uses it to buy a clue or maybe some good weed from somewhere else so they can compare what they think is quality to what actually is. read more

This place used to be decent. Went way downhill. I have trimmed their buds working for a trim company. They get the trimmers to trim around powdery mildew. Rediculous. They put so many tiny bottom nuggets that should be strictly trim/ shake and think they can get away with these kinds of practices. I remember when the patients well being used to be a concern. Now it's all about money. Stay away from here if you're looking for true medical cannabis. This place does not have any. read more

Everyone that knocks this place is wrong. Good selection of greens. Friendly employees that will tell you about each flower. But most of all, the prices. Some of the pot shops are definitely tourist attractions, but MMJ was more local and had great prices (like the holiday special- quarter for $60). read more

Was a ok experience. The girl behind counter was nice and helpful. The security guard made the experience VERY UNCOMFORTABLE! I won't never go back. I was just buying some flower and he gets all close to me asking for my pocket knife. I was just about done with my business. He was all staring at me all close. Then went and stood at front door and stared at me till I was done. He should've been at front door when I can in. I mean com on I'm there to be happy and enjoy the experience not to be on edge. read more

Let me first say I have never written a review for anything, not on yelp or otherwise. However I have had such a nightmare experience with this store, I felt like I should warn others. Mmj runs a early bird special, if you are in by 11 am you get premium at mid shelf prices. Yet they very rarely have premium and when they do its only one strain. They have daily specials posted everywhere, yet they hardly ever have what is advertised as the daily special. Worst of all there has been at least five times in the last month I have gone in and they have been completely out of weed on the medical side. I was told to come back later or call back and check to see if they had a drop. All of this could be ignored, had it not been for the absolute horrible customer service I received on multi occasions. I gave them the benefit of the doubt in several instances, caulked it up to just a bad day, everyone in customer service has them. However in the last couple months, there has been a complete lack of respect for the customers. Several of the employees act as if they are doing you a favor by selling you anything and you should be grateful for it. To say I'm extremely disappointed in their over all service is a understatement. read more
