We were there for over half an hour, and after my parents were given their preliminary order of tea, we essentially became invisible. I might have been more understanding and patient if the restaurant had been busy, but it was a quiet Tuesday evening where not even half the tables were filled and there were numerous waiters and waitresses who didn't seem particularly harried. So we finally got up and left. One of the staff thanked me on my way out and I wanted to say, "For what?" Also, for all the lovely views of the Loch, I couldn't stop my eyes from being drawn to the half-dozen massive flies skittering across the windows. Gross. Disappointed.

We were so pleased that they were the place we landed on. They were so friendly, the food was amazing, and they didn't rush us out, even though the kitchen was closing shortly after we arrived. We were staying nearby and sad that we weren't staying there. Our group had the crab cake, king prawns, and smoked salmon starters. For entrees we had the steak, bolognese, venison, burger and steak pie. Then several had the brownie and sticky toffee pudding. I have to say that we'd been having sticky toffee pudding everywhere we've been and this was, by far, the best we've had. I didn't get pictures of the desserts because they were eaten so quickly.
