It was a very short walk to the restaurant which is inside the Glen Mhor Hotel. We were seated in the sunroom where all the glass and windows are so we had a great view of the River Ness. There weren't many people dining when we arrived but it was full by the time we left. We both wanted comfort food so we ordered pizza and spaghetti bolognese. Both were delicious. We also had wine and their house lager with our meal. Our meals arrived promptly and both were delicious. Service was prompt and professional. The ambiance of the restaurant was quiet and calm even tho it was full of diners. We really enjoyed our dinner here and hope to return again some day.

The portions were huge and the serving staff's recommendation of the rib eye went down a treat. All the staff were friendly and although it seemed a bit chaotic on the surface our food arrived quickly and was piping hot. Was delighted to see local craft ale on the taps too from Cromarty Brewery Co. Overall great value for the money, good service with a smile and well worth a visit. Only complaint is the cramped surroundings, but looking forward to coming back to check out the beer garden next time!

When they could not fit…read moreour family in at the B&B Inn for our whole stay they suggested we take a family room in the bunk house for one of our nights. So having taken a family of four to both Ill give you some tips. They are both lovely ways to stay but if you want your kids close and safe while still having a door between you for alone time with your partner stay in the inn. If you plan to make your own meals to save money stay in the bunkhouse. But even if you choose the bunkhouse it's worth paying for a breakfast in the Inn.
