At the end of our time there, Staff was terrible. Rude, unprofessional, they do not provide a safe environment for children. Example one: -Taking children's food away as punishment. - Staff fighting in Day care. - unaccounted for injuries to child. - staff yanked my son off the indoor jungle gym stated it was an accident she was trying to prevent him from falling and he ended up getting a black eye - this place was good at first and convenient cause I worked as a bartender at night However they got lazy The staff started being disrespectful I reported it to Amber the director at the time and she got a attitude with me and said "that teacher is my best teacher" when I made a complaint about her staff treated my son. They can't say my son was a problem cause his current day care : BEAUTIFUL OASIS CHILD CARE has no problem with him at all ‍ Staff called DCS on me and my family tried to have my childrn taken away, did not work. Little did the school know I kept my own documentation of my children and school, with photos to prove it. I will admit few staff members were kind and responsible. They weren't all bad but a lot of the times people where Terrible to my child. Previous workers there told me about how they treated my child as well. Send your children somewhere else the convenience is not worth your piece of mind and child welfare. I learned my lesson the hard way. read more

I enrolled my daughter in Love and Learn when she was 2 months old. Being a new mother, I was that crazy mom who called a few times a night. I was extremely happy with my daughters main teacher at the time Miss. Katie. She is the absolute BEST! My daughter was in her class for the first year. I was always at peace leaving my daughter in her hands. Kind, sweet, loving, caring, and like me, she was a new mother herself! After my daughter moved into the ones class, things started to change. Nothing was consistent and the teachers were either on their phones or not paying attention to the kids. Especially in the 2s class. I would pick up my daughter and she was missing her shorts, one shoe, socks, and I can't even tell you how many pacifiers would never come home with her. I was so sad to leave her when I dropped her off. The staff was changing, or I just became more observant. The way these teachers would yell at the kids and drag them by the arm, I have never seen anything like it! Finally I had enough. I went to pick up my daughter one night and she was in the corner crying. I asked, "what's wrong ******?l" she said, "teacher hurt me." My daughter was 2.5, just started to talk. Of coarse I nicely asked the teacher and she denied it. Then I asked to see the video surveillance and the lady in front told me to ask the director in the morning. Now, mind you, my daughter was always coming home with bite marks and little bruises. I just thought it was typical daycare toddler stuff. Until two nights after my daughter said her teacher hurt her, I saw a teacher (Miss Miranda) drag a little 2 year old boy across the room by his arm and throw him on a cot! I couldn't believe it. I of coarse was terrified to leave my daughter after that happened. I went to the front and reported it immediately. I had to go to work. I put my daughter in a different classroom that night and when I picked her up she had a bloody nose (mildly) like it happened a hour prior to getting her. When I asked for an ouch report, the teacher said there was none. Mind you again, anytime in the past, they called me immediately when something happened. When we got home she had welts all over her back, like someone had smacked her. Still no ouch report, I took her to the doctor the next day and after looking throughly at my daughters body and finding more bruising on her head and neck, she advised me to report it to the police. Police came, forensics came and took pictures of my daughter (Parents worst nightmare) and opened an investigation. Now let me go back to the video surveillance. I was always told the cameras work and record. But when the forensic unit came to compensate the Video surveillance, Love and Learn tampered with it and all the footage was erased. There was no proof, other then the pictures I had and my daughters word. Bottom line is, This school is horrible. The owner should be in jail! Please please please, take my advise and do not put your child in this school. On a brighter note... after countless searches and school tours, we found the BEST school! My daughter has been attending Maxwell preschool on Stapley and the 60 and OMG! She was potty trained in one week, they have stable loving teachers, and they are structured! My daughter loves going to school now and she is so happy! Maxwell school has been the best blessing! read more

I love this daycare!! I dont know why people are saying staff is rude because every time i have had an issue staff is 100% there to answer my questions and concerns. Its a big day care so it gets pretty hectic around certain times of the day so of course they are going to be a little short but they work with your schedule they protect our kids and love them!!! My son loves it there he is two yo. Of course he comes home with marks hes a two year old boy it happens!!!! But he LOVES HIS TEACHERS. And nina the director is amazing and will always work with you. If your looking for a small daycare, more intimate and one on one this place may not be for you. But if your schedule is hectic your low on funds and just need a place where your child can call home and be safe and have fun this is the place!!! read more

My little sister has been going here since she was 3. It was great in the beginning, but my mom just called to tell me my sister has lice for the FOURTH time. They don't do anything to quarantine the kids that they find have lice. Every time we've gone to pick her up after getting this call, she's still with all the other kids. read more

Horrible. I picked this place cause a coworker recommended it. So I gave it a try. Staff are rude, first i got all my paper to register lady gave me no tour, not even showing me where his class was, no what to expect first day. So I brushed it off thinking she had a bad day. But nope it's like everyday all the staff having a bad day. Clothes and blankets are lost they won't let you know either or look at you Blankly when you ask. 2 occasions happened 1. I had to stay late so I had my cousin pick my son up, I let them know before hand. My cousin calls me asking where is his class, I tell her. She tells me no one helped her she didn't know how to check out. 2. My sister picked him up again I had to stay overtime at work, this time she witnessed a staff member pushed my son and mumbled something to him making him cry and she did absolutely nothing, my sister did tell the front office they said they'll talk to staff member, but they did not inform me, the mother, of this incident or apologized. Can't imagine what else has been happening her. I walked into my sons class with all the kids surrounding one of the girls phone watching Moana. My son and all the other kids constantly have boogers running down their nose and his diaper is tight every time I pick him up. I called around and there are places with better reviews and better prices. This place is way expensive with horrible reviews. read more

I would not suggest you take your child here if you care about them. It seemed like every other month there were new "teachers" and I use that term loosely. This place hires young people who do not know how to supervise or take care of children. My 1 year old son got his finger slammed in the door the first week he was there. The supervision at this place is truly lacking, as is the management. I cannot tell you how many problems I had with this place the 9 months my son attended. They lost his sippy cup, put the wrong diapers on him, got bleach on his clothes and gave his extra clothes to other kids and that is just some of the problems I have had with this daycare. This is the worst daycare ive ever step foot in. Staff is very rude and uses foul language. The employees leave kids soaked in wet clothing and lose all the blankets and equipment you're expected to provide, and then wont inform you of it. They upcharge everything constantly. My son had been in their sick room with no supervision, and also i did not get ONE phonecall letting me know he was sick. If you care about your children at all, DO NOT GO HERE! I only used this place twice for an hourly daycare center. I had to leave my son the second time for about 7 hours because I needed to cover a shift for work. When I picked him up from daycare they had him strapped so tight in a baby bouncer that he couldn't even move his arms. This is awful because he is extremely mobile! He loves to crawl around and play! He never gets strapped to anything at my house, so I can only imagine that this was extremely hard on him! They hadn't fed him at all in those seven hours and he was extremely upset. I will never leave my baby with them ever again!! read more

I have been taking my son here for about a year and like any other preschool/daycare it has its issues and areas to improve. BUT whenever I have an issue I always address it with the staff and the director, Amber and it's resolved quickly. In the June, 2010 inspection of this center there were an alarming number of citations. They ranged from loose electrical wires to staff not submitting their negative TB test results (required when working with kids). What was alarming to me was that there were also citations for children not being signed out properly and the rosters for children present were incorrect or incomplete. I was so excited to finally be able to find a 24 hr childcare for date nights, as soon as I dropped them off (630pm) I was told they couldn't allow outside food ( mcdonalds) but would allow it this one time. I'm use to daycares playing with the kids and entertaining them, but this one didn't. teachers had their phones out. my kids said all they did was play with blocks and magnets and were sent to bed at 9. as soon as I picked up kids (at 945 pm) they were in a big room with a bunch of kids trying to be put to bed (which none of the kids looked tired) the girl that was watching them was sitting looking on her phone. my kids told me the teachers were mean and yelled at some of the kids for goofing off not wanting to sleep, saying they will be sent to the office. I spent 50 dollars registration fee and another 49 to have my date night, and my kids were miserable and asked me not to take them back. read more

I have heard not too many good things about this daycare and decided to stop for a tour. I am looking for care for my 1 year old who's never been away from Mommy & Daddy. When touring the children & staff seemed very happy. We had a trial day and my daughter was content while in the care of this center, I have since enrolled my child full time and she loves the teachers. I love that Love and Learn is 24/7 I work late hours and I feel good knowing my babies are safe while I'm at work. They have so much fun here and they are always learning new things.
