They truly care about your child, take the time to get them comfortable, make them feel safe, help them adapt to all the change. They are amazing and I would highly recommend them. My daughter is always happy to go and even asks on the weekends to go see her friends at daycare! Love this place and all the staff!

Another huge factor for us was safety and peace of mind. As a parent, being able to drop off your child without worrying is everything, and this preschool makes that possible. The classroom ratios are low, the environment is always clean, the sign-in process is secure, and they're thoughtful about food and nutrition. We've also had no issues with recurring colds or back-to-back illnesses, which has been such a relief. All of that makes a big difference. We have had two scares involving our child and there was absolutely no evidence other than second and third-hand stories, what we could piece together from our child's limited vocabulary, and scratches on their skin. I've also gone in to pick up our child, to find a completely new caregiver I had never seen before taking care of the kids. In 2024 there is no reason that parents should not be able to check in on their kids virtually whenever they want to. We get a few pictures of our kid a day through the app, and we are missing thousands of little moments in their development. Enough is enough. Give parents peace of mind and the sense that we are a part of our children's day, even if we can't be there in person.

For example, we prefer that our son doesn't consume too much sugar (he's got enough energy as is...!), so we requested that when juice is served that it is watered down 50/50, and they have been very accomodating. He has some food sensitivities and they have substituted snacks when necessary. We enjoy having the updates on the app - we get a few photos a day of what he's doing, along with notifications of any diaper changes, what he's eating and how much, and how long and when he naps! Once in a while we get videos as well and it's so lovely to get little updates through the day. Miss Serenity and Miss Katie have been so lovely, and he looks forward to seeing them and his classmates. The socialization has been great for him. We have always had great interactions with the staff. We recommended Calvary Preschool to a friend, and they enrolled their baby and have been loving it too!

Please....Please....Please don't take your children here!!! I took my children here and at first it was great. Then they got a new director and now it's HORRIBLE!!!!! The new director is terrible. Any time you have concerns she pretends to listen and then does NOTHING to correct it. She doesn't want to hear ANYTHING negative, especially if it insinuates that she is not doing her job. Instead of listening and trying to help she just stands there and trys to justify the behavior of herself and her incompetant staff. Before this new director, my son loved going to school. Since the new director took over and the good staff either left or got fired, my son would come home and have nightmares and cry at the thought of going back to school. My daughter would come home filthy and with bite marks on her body. Sometimes, they didn't even know she had gotten bitten. How do you not know a 1 year old got bit? After the first bite I asked about their biting policy and was told there wasn't one. After she had got bitten SEVERAL more times in the same week I was told they were going to bring in another teacher. Soon after I was contacted by one of the employees there who told me that it was the DIRECTOR'S SON who was biting my daughter and that's why they weren't really doing anything about it. I asked that my daughter be moved out of that class and although I was promised she would be perminantly, every day I picked her up from the other room. The staff at this daycare thinks they can do whatever they want with your children while you are away without even notifying you...EVER. My son was moved to a younger class (the class that gave him nightmares) against his will and the director KNOWING how my son and I felt about that particular teacher/classroom. Since the new director has taken over the teaching staff has gone very downhill. Many of the teachers are uneducated and uncaring, sometimes even downright cruel. Even some that seem, or even are, educated are just downright aweful people. They genuinely do not care about your children. In my house we listen to primarily Christian music, but my son would come home knowing the words to very inappropriate music for children. I was shocked! When I asked my son where he learned those songs he said....school. The teachers seem to only be there for a paycheck. Most of the time they seem inconvenienced to even be there. You know it's bad when several employees call you personally to let you know that you were lied to by the director and to let you know what's really going on with your child. So many of the other reviews are very accurate. I am literally sick to my stomach that I stayed for so long after I saw how bad it was getting. We are no longer there, thank goodness, but so many other kids are and my heart hurts for them. I usually don't write reviews but after much prayer I felt obligated to. One of the most important things that we can do for our children is to provide them with the best care that we can. Our children should be in a safe environment and an environment that enriches them every day. The care our children receive now will stay with them as they grow and mature. With this in mind, please do not put your children in the Love and Learn Campus in Mesa, Arizona. On June 2, 2010 the Arizona Dept of Health Services conducted an inspection on the Mesa Love and Learn Campus, and they found numerous violations, therefore giving the campus the most citations it has received to date. These citations are a direct reflection of the management and care that is given to our children at this center. When you put your children into this center you are leaving your children in the hands of people who are only there to collect a paycheck, not to enrich your children. I personally know several parents who have taken their children out of this daycare center because of the care their children received. A child should be given guidance and should be nurtured, not placed in an environment where it is more important that the staff socialize with each other and gossip, than caring for the children. Furthermore, the actions taken by this daycare center when parents became concerned with the level of care their children received is completely unfounded. Trying to smear the names of parents that were in this situation only shows how terrible this daycare is. Instead of smearing names the director and employees should have been spending their time correcting the problems and reassuring parents that their children are given the best possible care. On June 2 2010 The Arizona Dept of Health Services conducted an inspection on the Mesa Love and learn Campus, they found and gave them the most citations to date that this daycare has ever seen. This is indicative of the management and care that is given at this center. Provided below is a link to the AZDHS website for Love and Learn preschool in Mesa. I am sure the owner commenting on her own establishment in other sites would like to keep and bring in more clientele, but it does not change the fact that this place is mediocre at best. If you want people who just collect a pay check and use your child care time to gossip this is the place for you. Don't take my word for it, follow the link below. If you are a current Love and Learn parent and are not aware of the recent Lice outbreak that occurred at this center, then ask them why they took the minimum steps to inform parents of the situation. If you want the minimum for your child this is the place where doing the minimum for your child is not just business as usual it is their standard. If you look at the citations prior to the new Director taking over you will see that this was a good center. I Know several parents personally who have left this daycare because it has gone down hill and I know several more that will be leaving soon for the same reason. Attempting to smear the names of parents that did not agree with the level of care being given at this center does not change how horrible this center is. If the owner really cared about the children she would do something about the director and staff, and let the people judge the level of care given at this center. My children have been attending Love & Learn for over a year. We have been to three other childcare centers with my children in the past. Love & Learn is by far our favorite center. Their office staff is so friendly and helpful and always happy to see my children. They have wonderful teachers and extra programs. They also have a indoor gym that is HUGE! for the kids to play in when it is hot. By kids love Mr. Thomas their music teacher and also love their dance teacher. My kids are always doing fun activities and are always talking and singing about what they did that day. They also have an amazing graduation every year for their preschoolers. I am excited for my four year old to be a part of that graduation next year. Also because they are 24/7 I have been able to go out on the weekends with my husband every now and then and they are able to stay at Love & Learn having a great time while I get a break. Whatever you do don't bring your kids here. My three year old was abused by the teacher. She grabbed him so hard by the ARM leaving marks. I did call the police and make report. When talking to the director she said her teachers would never do that. On top of that they are always over ratio. Do your research before putting your kids in any daycare. Ask for police records and department of health records! read more

I absolutely love this school. My daughter has been going here for 2 years and she is excited every day to go learn and play with her friends. The staff is so kind and caring towards her and always willing to assist me in any questions I have with my daughter. I would recommend this school to all parents. Especially those who work strange hours and could utilize the 24/7 feature this school gives. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE. Employees and outsiders fighting inside the buliding, there is always a contagious virus going around like hand foot and mouth and pinworms. Very unprofessional. On one occasion a man came to the door with a gun and I don't even think that they reported it to the owner of the daycare. read more

Each classroom he moved into had wonderful teachers who made every transition smooth and comfortable for him. The teachers always communicated well with our family and were great about collaborating with us to make sure he had the best experience possible. The administration has also been amazing. During my nephew's adoption journey, they were incredibly supportive and made him feel welcomed and truly like part of a family. That kind of love and care means more than words can explain. They have done such a great job preparing him for kindergarten, and honestly... he's not ready to let the center go (lol). Knowing he was in a place where he was loved, cared for, and safe brought our family so much peace and relief. Strong Foundations has truly left a lasting mark on our lives and our hearts. As I was washing her body I saw this on her arm and I about lost my shit. I understand that kids are kids and they play and maybe you get a scratch from another kid or they are running and fall and scrap a knee. But to be bitten and not inform that child's parent is uncalled for. It is w nice raised welt so I know she maybe not cried but whined about so someone knew something but neglected to tell me. My heart hurts knowing I'm leaving my kid in the care of others and she isn't being taken care of.
