My Love 2 Live caregiver abandoned me after 90 minutes. She told us she was going to her car, and then coming but she didn't. She hid our keys and left. We had to call the cops. According to the owner of Love 2 Live, I was abandoned because "you were in a lot of pain". Really; she said that, I recorded the conversation. My surgery was well explained weeks ahead of time, and my "caregiver" had clearly not read that written description. My verbal explanation and instructions to her were ignored. Very impressed with the care providers from Love 2 Live. Sheila and crew stepped in after my Mother fell and hit her head, hard. Lots of blood and we were/are very worried about her. Major disaster and we needed help ASAP after Mom was released from the Emergency Room. The care providers are truly life savers and we cannot thank them enough. Sadly my Mom had a repeat fall (not the fault of the care providers) and Love 2 Live was there waiting as my Mom was released from the hospital. We are still dealing with a number of medical issues, but it is very comforting to have this wonderful service.. Not really a touchy feely kinda guy, but these angels are VERY comforting to our family. read more

I have been very pleased with the caregivers that the Love 2 Live Agency have provided for my sister. We initially met with the owner and she carefully learned about her personality and needs. That way they could match her with caregivers that she would be most likely feel comfortable with. They have all been very kind and competent. I also appreciate that through working with Honor, after each shift I receive an email report about what was done and the condition of my sister. This has been very helpful. It is a stressful and difficult thing to hire caregivers for a loved one. I am thankful for Love 2 Live being available to offer good people, with full background checks, that seem to truly care. read more

Beware of using this care agency! They just tried to prevent and successfully sabotaged an 89 year old senior from moving into a wonderful retirement home who has dementia and needs round the clock care because they were afraid they would be out of a job. The agency themselves ended up calling the police to stop this move from happening and an investigator called her dear friend who was facilitating each step of this for her and began questioning her! This lady has no family and is widowed and the agency tried to claim that a Good Samaritan from her church who was trying to help her get moved was involved in elder abuse. Really? How about it is obviously that you don't want to loose a client that is bringing your company in $7500 a month. It's sad that those who go above and beyond are the ones that get thrown to the side. I will also be reporting Seniors At Home for Elder abuse and to the BBB. An agency like this should not be in business. I thought the whole point was to help someone? Seniors At Home you should be disappointed in yourselves. read more

I am extremely happy with Love 2 Live. The caregiver they assigned to my aunt is kind and attentive and her presence has improved the quality of life for my aunt and given peace of mind to the people who love her and worried as she was getting older. I am writing this review as a warning to anyone looking for caregivers not to use this company. We hired this service to take care of my grandmother who needed 24 hour care. It was nothing but nightmares while we used Love2live. We had several caregivers drop her. This company came to do an evaluation of my grandmother when we initially hired them so they knew the type of caregivers we needed and what services we were looking for. They sent girls that were inexperienced and that could not even use a gate belt to transfer her. She was dropped and ended up in the hospital the last time they dropped her. The photos are from the last caregiver which dropped her. Luckily my mother was still in the house and called 911 because I don't even think the girl would have done that. My grandmother is on blood thinners and could have bled out on the bedroom floor. This service sent a caregiver who supposedly was on medication herself, who on one occasion showed up intoxicated smelling like alcohol. We had no shows of caregivers, just not showing up and no notification, leaving us with no one to be with my grandmother. After the last incident of her falling (which was almost a month ago), the owners never even had the decency to call my mother to apologize. This service is completely incompetent and I regret using them as a service as long as we did. Many of the caregivers they sent were very unprofessional, and I really think they just hire anyone, regardless of inexperience. We hired them and put that trust in them that my grandmother would be well taken care of only to be extremely disappointed. They were negligent and these incidents were really considered elder abuse. I would never use or recommend them! read more

Just saw love to live response. I'm an ex auditor and have the entire audit trail, including the raw data, witness statements, their emails, etc. it took some digging and an inside person at John Hancock to tell me that a new caregiver's activities of daily living(ADL) - required for my eligibility - for multiple weeks. John Hancock, my long-term care insurance company, then stopped benefits and wanted $x,000 in premium because I was no longer under benefits. Loves to live got a check and despite me saying it wasn't fixed , pretended it was fixed and went on holiday over Christmas and New Year leaving me to pay out of pocket. Ultimately, I ended up in the hospital as a result of the intense stress while still trying to recover from other illnesses. I stressed that the adl's had to be right during the initial intake and the owner gave me full assurance that their company closely supervises all aspects. I will post the documents that were not properly submitted to John Hancock thus I lost my benefits and nearly my mind. The point is, rather than immediately resolve the issue, they dodged it, ignored it, and enjoyed their Christmas holidays. Good luck ever talking or getting a response from the owner after the initial intake. read more

Be warned, this company is no longer locally run or managed. They merged with Honor to handle billing and scheduling. This company wants an extensive contract signed that limits all liability from the care providers and puts the client at risk of any issues. They are based in San Francisco, so any communications and recourse must be handled through them via San Francisco. The prices quoted "on their recorded line" did not match the invoice. In order to keep the caregiver person (who my parent loves), I had to pay the bill! No "working with the customer." The caregiver I have is amazing! Love2Live has done a truly outstanding job for us. The caregivers are very, very good and the office staff are amazing. The whole team consistently goes above and beyond to help my 89-yearold mom (and me with scheduling, logistics, and all the usual back-office stuff). I honestly don't know what we would have done over the past six months without Love2Live. Love2Live caregivers are professional, skilled, compassionate, alert, experienced, and generally on-the-ball! I would highly recommend this agency to help care for your loved one. They recently provided services for my 95 year old mother when she needed just a little bit of help and they were able to progress to full-assistance with the hospice team at the end. My very elderly mother received the extraordinary, 24 hour services of Love 2 Live for a month. She had a range of emotional issues and each Caregiver had been exceedingly well trained to handle these complicated situations. Since about October of 2015 my stepfathers wife has used this service. The gal who comes to help her is prompt, courteous, and effective. She needs assistance with light housekeeping, and errands to store, doctor, and for medication. L2L meets this need and I really appreciate that the caregiver is consistent. With another service she tried, the caregiver was a different person each week and it was difficult. This is helping her stay in her home rather than enter into assisted living. read more

When my father needed home health care due to advancing dementia Love2Live worked with us to provide a caregiver that treated my father and mother with kindness and respect. After suffering with a very serious infection Dad needed hospice care at home. A hospice team from the hospital provided primary medical needs, but the extra support from Love2Live meant that we were free to spend Dad's last weeks with him cherishing him, sharing memories, and provide as much peace as we could. At the very end of his journey Love2Live once again stepped up to provide respite and support for my mother. Love2Live kept in touch with us nearly daily to ensure our care needs were met. They worked very efficiently with Dad's long term care insurer which streamlined paperwork at a time when we needed to focus solely on our parents. I would recommend them to anyone read more

Love2Live was referred to our family, and from the first day of care, we noticed a level of compassion, professionalism, and care that took a lot of stress and worry off of my parents and  the out-of town family members.  We were very impressed, and appreciative, with the level of communication between the management and the family,  We were able to work together and collaborate to determine the best level of care for my parents. This care level changed dramatically when one parent was diagnosed with a terminal illness and began Hospice.    The caregivers remained dedicated and a constant in our lives when everything around us was chaos. We were very fortunate to have a great team of daily caregivers that skillfully managed to care for both my wife's parents.  Love2Live certainly does take the needs of their clients to heart, and when there are issues such as staffing, they work diligently to make sure there is coverage, as well as arranging the best compatibility between clients and staff. We went through another agency prior to finding Love 2 Live and were so let down by the agency's lack of effort in finding a good match and having caretakers not show up on more than one occasion! The owner and staff are so nice to deal with...so patient and understanding and really care about the welfare of your loved one. You really get the feeling they're not in business just for the money, but have a vested interest in helping during a difficult time. When my mom showed the signs of needing some extra help I felt desperate, but now that I have found good reliable care with this company I feel I can keep my mom home a little longer, which is what she always wanted. read more
