We booked Love & Photos for our wedding photography and videography. Our photographer was Jaylynn, and our videographer was Jacob. Before the wedding, our assigned photographer changed several times, which made the planning process more stressful than it needed to be. I wasn't able to build a connection with the person who would actually be photographing our wedding until just before the event. I eventually reached out to Jaylynn myself so we could go over the timeline and discuss expectations. On the wedding day, Jaylynn was kind and helpful while I was getting ready. She even assisted my bridesmaids with making sure my dress was laying properly, which I appreciated. However, I was surprised that no "getting dressed" photos were taken, as those are moments many couples expect to have documented. Throughout the day, she often asked, "What's next?" which gave me the impression that she wasn't fully familiar with our timeline or directing the flow of the day. The poses and shots also felt fairly standard, and the sample shot list the company provided wasn't followed very closely. Jacob, our videographer, was professional and quietly captured moments throughout the day without being intrusive. At the time of writing this review, we have not yet received our final gallery. I'm sincerely hoping I'm completely wrong about my initial impressions and that the finished photos leave me speechless. Editing can make a tremendous difference, and I truly hope we're blown away by the final product. I'll happily update this review if the gallery exceeds our expectations. read more

They brought such a calm, positive energy to the day, which made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. What impressed us most was their attention to detail and ability to blend into the day so naturally. They caught every laugh, every tear, and every meaningful glance without ever feeling intrusive. We had a really good experience overall. The team was professional but also pretty chill and creative at the same time, which we honestly didn't expect. Photos came out great - way better then we thought tbh. We did have a couple small tweaks we wanted on the video after delivery, and they did get back to us and fixed them which was nice. However, the turnaround time for those edits took a bit longer then we hoped, and communication could of been smoother during that process. Also, while the final result was strong, we felt like the overall package could of included a bit more guidance during planning. Nothing major, just a few small things that could make the experience even more better. We booked with Love&Photos over a year in advance. Their recruiter team and talent agent team were very communicative, however we dealt with some significant issues. We ended up having 2 photographers quit on us with little to no communication (they weren't responding) and was left without a photographer 6 days before the wedding. They luckily resolved this and we ended up with Aza as a photographer. She was wonderful to work with and rolled with changes day of. The only reason we're leaving this 3 stars is because of her. We however have not seen the product of the photos yet and are excited to see them. Hopefully we can add them to this review when we receive the product. read more

They worked so well together and listened to our ideas as well. They made sure to capture important events im our wedding without being in the way. There are no words to express the disappointment and heartbreak we felt when we received our wedding photos from this company, but I'm going to write a bunch of words to try to do my best to ensure no other bride experiences what I did by hiring this sham of a company. We explicitly requested certain shots from our photographer - even posed for them - and yet somehow we received none of these photos. We have ZERO photos of our entire bridal party. We had everyone come over for photos, pose, we asked for different angles even, and yet somehow we did not receive a single one of those shots. I honestly have to question whether the photographer was even clicking the button to take photos. Even more heartbreaking, some of the most important moments were not captured at all. There are no photos of most of our bridal party walking down the aisle, and hardly a single good-quality photo of just my husband and me together. I also have zero photos from my dance with my father. That might be easy enough for some brides to overlook, but unfortunately my father suffered complications from his cancer just a few weeks later, so I will never have the opportunity to get images with him like that again. These were moments that cannot be recreated, and it is devastating to know we don't have lasting memories of them.      We invested a significant amount of money and trust in this company, and what we received falls far short of what was promised and what we reasonably expected. I will accept a little blame for how terrible the work was: we had multiple guests come up to us during the wedding to ask if the photographer knew what he was doing, and why he was doing shots (of alcohol) instead of taking shots of the wedding. Unfortunately, we were naive enough to trust that this photographer was competent, so we wrote off the concerns of our guests and told everyone to focus on having a good time. We spent well over a thousand dollars on wedding photography from Love & Photos, and received a devastating blow instead of pictures. A direct quote from this company after we received our photos and questioned the 1) quality, and 2) lack of photos they were contractually obligated to provide: "After reviewing your gallery, we recognize that the final delivery wasn't up to the standard we expect at Love & Photos, and for that, we're truly sorry. Please know that we are taking steps with our team, including Tyrone, to uncover why this happened and ensure it's corrected moving forward. In this case, the number of photos originally captured originally captured fell short of our usual standards, which limited how many unique moments could ultimately be edited and delivered. Every frame was carefully reviewed, but the remaining photos are not strong enough to meet our standards. Because of that, there aren't additional moments or photos we can edit into your gallery without compromising quality." TL;DR: If you want a decent photo of yourself and your husband on your wedding day, don't hire this company. Looking at the photos this company sent us makes me physically ill because the day was absolutely perfect...but we'll never have any photos to capture that joy. read more

The contracted photographer was amazing. She communicated with us throughout the night and did a great job at picking the right poses for us. I often saw her taking pictures throughout the evening so I'm so excited to see what the off guard pictures look like. Thank you for capturing our special day! The only thing that we didn't like was how much many of the up charges were. It cost almost the same amount to capture our night as it would be to get the pictures earlier. I should have read the contract better but I was so overwhelmed, 3 months for pictures in such a digital age seems very long. read more

Love & Photos provided us with an amazing photographer and videographer, April and Paul, who worked so hard to capture our special day exactly how we wanted. it truly felt like our best friends were just following us around all day with cameras, and that is exactly what we wanted. They captured all the shots we wanted and then some, even working in some sunset photos! Karl was great. He was very helpful, and he really did a great job of keeping us on track. We had our ceremony and reception at 2 different locations, and he did a good job of making sure we had enough time to take pictures at both locations. I haven't seen the pictures yet, but I did see him take lots of pictures at both locations, and when we were able to take our couple pictures, he came up with some great poses. I was admittedly nervous about hiring a photographer for my wedding, but Love & Photos came through and they were just right for our budget and our timeline. Matt communicated regularly, and a few days before the wedding we also received communication from our photographer, Terrence. Terrence was very sweet and responsive to shot requests, our only hiccup was that he didn't have much direction for us and we had to keep track of the shots we wanted ourselves for the most part. I was nervous to pick a random company to be honest, but I found that no matter my questions they got back with me really quick. The only 'negative thing' and it's not even a big deal, but I kept getting emails to update my profile and another form when I'd already done it. I reached out and it was taken care of, but there were like 30 emails lol. I loved the ease and the photographer, Ray, that I selected was kind, and sweet, and understanding. The suggestions he had were great. they knew our personal circumstances changed and that we would no longer need a 4 hour wedding shoot. we opted for a smaller couples style shoot. they agreed to do this. they acted so kind and understanding after they had $500 from us. a few months later they insisted we pay for the full 4 hours when they knew we didn't need 4. they said they would keep our deposit and not show up. we, foolishly, paid them more. $750 for 1 !one hour! of photos. our photographer cancelled a few weeks before our appointment and they asked me to pay $450 to reschedule. they said they will not refund this already unfair amount. Their partner cancelled and they asked me for more money! They are 100% scam artists. revolting. I wish there was more I could do than review them read more

Had Love and Photos do our daughter's wedding last weekend. The photographer was very prompt to arrive on time.He was busy the entire time slot, getting lots of photos. I cannot leave a review on the photos themselves since we've not received them as it's only been 1 week. But he was extremely professional and very easy to work with. I'm giving it a 4-star instead of 5, simply because there was a few weeks after purchase, that I didn't get follow up communication. We had our wedding in Livingston, Texas, which is approximately an hour (or more) from Houston. It was a rainy day, but Lila (our photographer) was all smiles! She showed up early and got set up by herself quite quickly. She was warm and polite, and had lots of ideas for photos. She spent time with the bride while she was getting ready, then spent time with me while the gentlemen got ready as well. We found them via Instagram, and loved their style. initial communication was great - we feel that we expressed very clearly the style we wanted, and who our photographer would be on the day of the event. About two week before our wedding, we were assigned a photographer, which caused two issues. One, we expressly had asked for a specific photographer, and two, after looking at the portfolio of the assigned photographer, there were zero pictures involving a wedding - all of their pictures were sole, artistic, boudoir style photos. While they were amazing pictures, they were not at all what we were looking for. Fortunately, after we raised our concerns, another photographer was assigned that, based on their portfolio, fit the style and aesthetic we were looking for. It was somewhat stress inducing to straighten out but they were responsive to our concerns and addressed them within a few days. We have not seen any photos as of yet, so will edit once we see the final product. read more
