I first met Beth (photographer) the day of the wedding while I was helping my sister, the bride; get ready for her big day. I absolutely fell in love with her! She came in with so some spunk and energy she literally lifted everyone's energy level in the room just with her presence alone! Throughout my sister's wedding planning she kept raving about Beth and how much I will love her and she couldn't be more accurate! I watched Beth take pictures of my sister's dress, rings, shoes, hair piece, etc. Beth was very careful and gentle with each item she touched making sure to care for it as if it were hers. Her placement of the shoes, rings, etc was so right on. I wouldn't have thought of putting the rings there and having it look THAT good. She had us turn up the music and danced in our penthouse suite. We did just that and she snapped away dancing with us! Beth's sassiness made us laugh and we had so much fun taking pictures. She comes up with the craziest picture ideas that I think is so cool and out of this world! She took pictures of the bride and groom at a cash and go place and we thought we might get kicked out, lol. She had my sister and her hubby take pictures with this random punk rock girl, covered in piercing and tattoos sitting outside on J street smoking a cigarette. She utilized the Citizen hotel not only the inside but outside areas surrounding the hotel. She was able to capture the beautiful bride and groom and our amazing hometown of Sacramento. She was able to take pictures of the flower girls and ring bearer and work with the kids who didn't want to be photographed. How she did that was beyond me! She captured my dad's speech and everyone crying like little babies. She captured it ALL. Beth was my photographer for my November 2015 wedding and engagement shoot. She has a vision that is rare among professional photographers. I was super close to not doing an engagement shoot at all because I am turned off by the typical cheesy shots seen over and over again!! However, after meeting with Beth I changed my mind. My husband and I had an amazing experience at our wedding, and a large part of that was in thanks to Beth B! We were so fortunate to have Beth as our amazing wedding photographer!! Lucky for us, we actually got married in the same building as her studio. She was so generous and let us take pictures in her studio. Then she drove us around to a bunch of fun places before the wedding to take even more great shots! Beth and Sarah are the most amazing wedding photographers! We did a lot of research before we decided on a photographer for our wedding this past July. Not only is True Love two of the most reasonably priced event photographers in the area, but they also have such a unique style that we were completely blown away by the variety and beauty of our wedding photos. Though we're from the Sacramento area, we were out of state before the wedding. Beth worked with us months before the wedding to help coordinate and figure out what kind of photos we wanted. Beth and Sarah Beth (SB) are the matriarchs of Sacramento photography! Beth, the owner of TLP is one of the most experienced photographers in the city. She's got 20+ years of experience and it definitely shows. She knows all the ins and outs and all the best nooks to take pictures all around town. And she is a burst of personality! At first we booked Beth thinking "wow this is so awesome, we get one of the most talented artists in the city at such a great price" and then we met, Beth's second photographer, Sarah Beth, and you're like "WHAT? I get TWO of the most talented artists in the city at that same price!!" I swear, SB is seriously worth the entire price all on her own. We had Beth take our engagement photos and the two of them take our 11 hour long wedding day photos. And let me just say, we loved every single one of them. Both ladies are fantastic to work with, so bright and outgoing. They're great with kids (a MUST for us since we had a little two year old and it's just as much her day as it is ours). They have done so many weddings and they know how to keep a tight schedule while getting in every single picture you can think of (also a MUST)! We felt completely natural with them and you can tell how much they really care about what they do. Beth isn't afraid to fight for her couples so when the cathedral people started turning sour about times (they forced us to start early and tried to kick us out before the allotted end time) she wasn't afraid to stand up for us so we could get our shots at the cathedral in. Gosh, Beth even drove us around town in her car to take more pictures of us in between the ceremony and reception! They even took my sister and her family aside for a couple personal shots too! They bring so much care and hard work to their trade, it's everything we could have ever asked for. TLP photos have such vivid color and they have a good blend of posed and proper pictures as well as the fun and crazy ones. They knew how to capture moments that we didn't even think to capture. And on top of that, they take candid pictures of your guests too. We were so pleased to see the faces of all the friends and family as they are so important to us. Even our guests have nothing but good things to say about both Beth and SB. Some of our guests had their pictures from the wedding blown up to canvas prints before we did! Beth responds back to emails, calls, text, etc. so quickly and always went above and beyond with any request I had. Long after the wedding, I had asked for colored versions of some black and white images she took and she was so quick to respond.
