This is a very easy review. Cassie, who did the intake, was very gentle with my fur baby due to her past abuse. She understood my concerns about still learning my rescued baby and made me feel comfortable. I knew she was the right person when my baby relaxed near her. Now, the amazing walkers on the staff. I'm recovering from a serious surgery with limited movement. They started the pickups on time and took their time on the walk. Asking me where they should walk her impressed me because, " They were very aware that my baby had dealt with a lot. They approached her carefully, asking where she normally walked. That was a great question because that meant awarwness of unfamiliarity, her not wanting to leave her imjured mom, and walking her in familiar surrounds. Would I choose them again or refer them? How about I've already inquired about future bookings, and that's coming from a "hovering mom". I'd give them 4 gold stars.! read more

**DO NOT TRUST LOVE BUGS!** I rarely take the time to post a negative review, but my experience with Love Bugs warrants it. Over a span of 4 days, my 3 dogs were never given proper walks. They were only let out for a few minutes, and on one visit, they weren't taken outside at all. Numerous visits were shorter than the 20-minute minimum I paid for. Megan, the owner, initially seemed very concerned and agreed to comp 5 visits as requested. After waiting 1.5 months for the refund (If the account was hacked, COMMUNICATE the lengthy delay. But you were shocked the multiple times I reached out saying I didn't have the refund), I received a check for only 2 visits. When I reached out again, she went back on our agreement and started making excuses, claiming she agreed to comp 4 visits (then why send a check for 2?) and that it was storming all 4 days, which prevented the walks. Both excuses are untrue. I have the email confirming the agreement for 5 visits, which she refuses to acknowledge although it's in writing, and I watched every doorbell video of her team coming and going--there were no storms during their visits. Why didn't she mention the weather 1.5 months ago when she acknowledged the poor service? If you want your pets properly cared for and expect good customer service, DO NOT USE LOVE BUGS. I never write bad reviews, no experience is perfect, and people are not perfect. However, I felt I had to write this because I definitely would want to know about my experience before I made a decision who was going to watch my dogs. I have used Love Bugs on 3 occasions for overnight stay. 7pm-7am, the sitter stays in the home for the entire 12 hours with the assurance your dog will be cared for in their own home. The first time we had a great experience with Penny. However, on the second occasion, the sitter did not engage with my dogs. On the third occasion, the sitter left for 4 hours 9pm-1am without feeding the dogs or putting them in their crates. The dogs cried and scratched at the back door until they wore themselves out. The sitter lied several times to us about her whereabouts. When I suspected the sitter left the home, I called and texted the owner with no response. The next morning, Cassie still did not call or text me back. I think it is safe to say, if I was not persistent in my pursuit to talk to Cassie or Megan, I would not have heard from them. This is not just a story of just poor sitters, which is what the owners would want you to believe, but also unresponsive management, and lack of concern regarding customer service or my dogs. I will let you decide who should watch your pups, but if your looking for warm, caring and accountable sitters as well as responsive- staff and owners, you may want to keep looking. read more

I could write a book about how terrific Love Bugs Petting Sitting is. They are amazing. When our labs got into their 15th year of age putting them into a kennel was not something we wanted to do. Senior dogs need to be comfortable and that upset them and our two dachshunds as well. Someone very close recommended Love Bugs and I am so happy she did. We leave them instructions regarding the type of food and stuff to do with our dogs and they do a terrific job. We are very comfortable having them take care of our fur babies and that means a lot to allow someone to take care of our kids. :) When we were out of town last year we got a call from Cassie and our almost 17-year-old lab Cinder had died. It was a horrible phone call to take. She had died in her sleep and being out of town we didn't know what to do. Cassie helped us get in contact with a pet cremation service who would pick up Cinder for us. Cassie met them there as well since we could not. Cassie made a very tough situation much easier to handle and was very comforting the entire time. I would give Love Bugs a lot more than five stars for all that they have done for us and the amazing job they do every time they take care of our fur babies. read more

BE WARY!!! I used Love Bugs for the first time to schedule two visits per day for a week for my dog while on vacation. I returned to find three handbags, a necklace and a raincoat missing not a mention the plants, a trellis and mailbox that were damaged when someone backed out of my driveway. The owner said she was sorry but nothing could be done because of lack of prove (no cameras) plus there was an entourage of sitters coming in so it was hard to figure the one that was guilty. read more

Love Bugs comes highly rated, as I am very protective over my fur baby and only want the best for her. Cassie walks my pup most of the time, but I've also had Kat come over as well, and they both have been amazing every time. I work very long hours (12+), and they are able to give me peace of mind knowing that they will come over mid-day to walk and spend time with my pup. They send me pictures and even include a journal entry online every time they come! They have even saved me when I have gotten called into work at the last minute, I am able to text Cassie and she comes over. We are incredibly particular about who we trust to watch our dog, a large American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull), but Marcia and her crew always do a wonderful job. They leave notes so we know exactly what happened while we were gone, they text us with updates, they are always available-even with short notice. It's so much more relaxing to be able to walk in the door and already have our dog home, instead of needing to go pick him up.
