My neighbor recommended this wonderful place for my giant pup. I am SO glad she did! When I say the word "daycare" my boy goes crazy and he can't wait to go play and see the amazing staff. He will jump out of the car and run to them every single time! Every staff member is incredibly loving and playful with my big sweet boy and to all the other pets they bored. I am so glad our fur baby has a wonderful place to go. They have an online platform where you can make reservations and they get back to you very quickly with any questions or concerns you have. Great business. This is not our normal boarding location because it is pretty far from where we live, but it is worth the drive. We were able to book a run for our 4 dogs together. And they were so accommodating. We realized at the last minute that one of our dogs' shots had just expired. Instead of just saying there was nothing to be done - they got our dog in to the mobile vet that fortunately was going to be there the next day. They helped us avoid what would have been a huge disaster. read more

Great place to leave your cats. I have 3 and it's hard to find a boarder that accepts cats. This is a great find. The place is very clean and well set up for cats. They are very friendly and attentive to our babies needs. I Highly recommend this pet boarding for your furry loved ones. read more

Our dog has been going to doggie daycare since we adopted her 2 -1/2 years ago! She loves it there and gets to play with other dogs and not sit in her kennel all day while i'm at work. The staff is wonderful and caring. We have done a training class as well the first summer we had her. It was a great class and the tips they taught me had helped in training. She also boards there whenever we go out of town. I love knowing she is well taken care of and is somewhere she is so happy. I wouldn't trust anyone else with her. They treat her like part of their family and I love that. read more

We started taking our furry kids to RUFF N IT several years back when our friend told us how great they were. We had an episode at a previous place we had been using and needed to find a trustworthy place we could depend on. From Day 1 of our furbabies staying at RUFF N IT, we have been extremely happy with the care and attention they receive. My dog who is vaccinated, got kennel cough in July. Took him months to recover. He's finally better. I took him back in August for a weekend and he came home with a horrible intestinal bacteria that took me months of dealing with bloody diarrhea and $1500 in vet bills to finally figure out and so he could be treated. Super nice people but I'm just concerned about the cleanliness of the kennels. Which are off limits to owners. Great location so I'm sad that he won't be back. read more

We like Ruff N It for doggy daycare. The people seem friendly and helpful. The downside to Ruff N It is the outdoor area is rocks and dirt so our dog is typically pretty dirty requiring a bath when he gets home. A good upgrade would be an artificial turf area for playtime instead. read more

Opening in November 2014, Ruff-N-It is owned by Anje Foster who has 15+ years experience in animal care. Anje has put together a very efficient, & loving, team at Ruff-N-It that will take excellent care of your fur baby while you are away! Ruff-N-It has 31 doggie dens & 4 suites. Our dens are stainless steel with FRP side & back panels for pet safety. Each den includes a Kuranda bed & stainless steel food & water bowl. Our 4 suites, for small to medium size pups, are off of the kennel room providing a more quite & serene environment. The suites have their unique theme, be it our Paris, Nautical, Safari, or Harley suite! We have a large, divided outdoor play area, as well as a large covered play area for inclement weather days. Our boarding guests are taken out a minimum of 4 times per day. The dogs are placed into play groups so that they have great interaction with their furry friends, if they are play group friendly. Our dog boarding starts at $31 per night. We also offer boarding for cats starting at $16 per night. We have a growing Doggie Daycare Program, should you want to provide the perfect playtime for your fur baby while you are at work, or out running errands! We also offer training classes & a small Pro Shop area! We welcome you to stop by, unannounced, for a tour of our facility. This keeps us on our toes & will give you a unique insight into our operation. Oh, and please feel free to bring your pup with you so they can check us out also!

I came to VEG early in the morning with my precious 16-year-old Shih Tzu, Huggy, who was going through a very serious condition involving tracheal collapse. After experiencing delay after delay trying to find veterinary care where Huggy could be seen, I finally came across VEG--and from the moment I arrived, everything was different. I was greeted at the door and welcomed with open arms. There was no judgment whatsoever about the delays we had experienced trying to get Huggy the care he desperately needed. Instead, their concern was simple: Huggy was there now, he needed help, and they were going to take care of him. The entire staff was inviting, professional, compassionate, and absolutely extraordinary. I was allowed to remain with Huggy throughout his care, which meant more to me than I can possibly express. They treated him with such tenderness, compassion, and love that I truly felt as though they were caring for one of their own. Most importantly, Huggy's well-being came first. His care was not about unnecessary procedures or adding charges simply because they could. They focused on what he actually needed and treated him immediately, with his comfort and health as their priority. Dr. Lowe was extraordinary--a true blessing not only to Huggy, but to me as well. The care, compassion, knowledge, patience, and support she provided were exemplary in every possible way. She didn't just treat my dog; she understood how deeply loved he is and how frightening this situation was for me. I will never forget what she did for us. To every doctor, technician, staff member, and person at VEG who played a role in Huggy's care: thank you from the bottom of my heart. Every one of you matters, and every one of you contributed to the care that helped my precious Huggy. I truly believe that without this incredible team doing what they do so exceptionally well, my Huggy might not still be here with me. There are simply no words big enough for what that means to me. Ruff-N-It has been open a year as of 11/21/15. Check them out on Facebook! They have 45 reviews; 43 are 5-stars & 2 are 4-stars! They love your fur babies like you do! They have a large outdoor play area divided into 2 yards and a large covered play area for those inclement weather days. Your babies are let out in play groups (if play group friendly) a minimum of 4x per day. Your babies are always supervised and they receive a lot of interaction with the staff during these times. Ruff-N-It administers meds at no additional charge, and prefers to keep your pup on their same diet while on their stay. My dogs just spent 9 days at Ruffing It Pet Boarding in Dallas, GA, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff was super friendly and attentive, knowing each of my dogs by name. They came home clean, smelling fresh, and very happy, with no signs of new aggressive behaviors.
