I was never told there were pain management doctors who actually wanted to help me. My serious, chronic pain was ignored and minimized. Recently I was having life-disrupting perimenopause symptoms, and I agonized to Dr Kirschner over not sleeping, sweating through my clothes several times a night, and worsening mental health. I was ignored and not given a single piece of advice about how to get help. I had asked to go on hormone replacement therapy and I was denied. At my 1st appointment with my female rheumatologist she diagnosed me with fibromyalgia. WHY WAS DR KIRSCHNER SO INEPT THAT HE MISSED THIS CRITICAL, LIFE CHANGING DIAGNOSIS? WHY DID HE IGNORE MY 5+ YEARS OF AGONY, SUFFERING WITH NO PAIN MANAGEMENT? There is no excuse for this serious, purposeful lack of care. ZERO concern was shown for my pain. I hope this doctor suffers in pain for years, ignored, like I did.
