They forced a change of plans that the bride originally wanted by texting her constantly ON THE DAY OF THE WEDDING!!! When the bride (my sister) expressed that she would like to be able to make the decision, she was met with argumentative responses saying that they were going to go ahead and move all of the decor inside since it would be raining for sure the next day - keep in mind that at this point it was a 30% chance of rain happening, so this was very premature. Karan was constantly texting her all day trying to force my sister's hand in the decision and because of this, she could not fully enjoy herself the first day of the wedding. He continued to lie about timings that their staff needed to complete set up by and they did not even take down and remove the decor from day 1... the wedding guests helped to take all that down. Ultimately, Karan ended up saying that he would not be coming the next day for decorations at 2AM the night before.... This left my sister without a decorator for her second day with less than 12 hours notice!!! Luckily the DJ from day one came through with a last minute decor vendor (Dharma Events) that was able to take the original design and produce a mandap that was even better than the bride could ever imagine at almost half the cost of the original designs. I would highly recommend going with them instead of having to deal with this unruly and unprofessional vendor.

And we're both in our mid-40s, so it's not like our guests haven't all been to dozens of weddings. But Norma was just THAT good. Our journey with Norma started three years ago, when we became engaged in 2019. Norma met with us and designed a beautiful ceremony ... which didn't get to happen, because it was scheduled for April of 2020. Instead, the pandemic forced us to cancel our wedding. When we told Norma, she offered to marry us right away in a socially distanced outdoor ceremony. She immediately revised the ceremony she had written for us, and the next day she gave us a beautiful wedding with only two witnesses instead of the 200 we had originally planned. Norma brought everything we needed and gave us a joyful day even as the world seemed to be falling to pieces all around us. Two years later, we finally felt that it was safe enough to have the wedding we originally planned, and we knew we had to have Norma on board. And she DELIVERED THE GOODS! She rewrote our nuptials yet again, and delivered a ceremony full of love and good feelings and humor. It was so heartfelt and wonderful. Hanel came highly recommended to us by our friends who had gotten married and chose him as their…read morephotographer, and we are so glad that we got to meet him at that wedding! He was so kind and approachable at the very first meeting that we had zero reservations in choosing him even though we didn't know too many details about his style of photography or what it would be like to work with him. Turns out his style is both inventive and artistic, and and he is extremely easy to work with (we got so lucky!) At our engagement session, he went out of his way to get shots that were absolutely gorgeous. One particular shot of us on a bridge involved him walking out very far away and still try to give us directions so we look our best in the photos. To get to all the locations we had in mind, an unanticipated cab ride was involved. Even then, Hanel took that opportunity to capture some of our favorite shots. He really goes above and beyond in every way. For couples who are not comfortable in front of the camera - do not worry! Hanel will talk you through all the shots and he does not actually pose you, so everything looks natural and beautiful. My husband learned how to pose for photos ever since. On our wedding day, Hanel and his staff were punctual and so pleasant to work with. Looking back at our wedding photos, he did not miss a single significant moment and in fact captured a lot that we had missed. Our photos came out looking authentic and so very beautiful. Some of the ones at sunset are jaw-dropping gorgeous - our friends and family keep telling us unprompted months after the wedding (and I really do think it's the photographs that they love and not just us). Once again, Hanel and his staff went above and beyond - he even took photos while standing precariously on a moving golf cart (again, one of our favorites that's getting framed!). One of the staff who works at the venue said he had seen over 500 weddings and never once did a photographer do that. He was so patient in giving our huge wedding party directions, and took the time to learn everyone's name. All of the bridesmaids and groomsmen were so amazed by his incredible work ethic. At another later wedding, one of the groomsmen remarked to me that "yeah that photographer was not even close to Hanel". I set up my shoot with Carey (who is quite swift in responding) via email and she was willing to work with me to find what worked for me and my needs. For the purpose of my shoot, I was looking for new yoga photos for my website and social media. We settled on a package that worked for me, a date and a time. She suggested places where we could take our photos and gave me pointers so I can do my own research in finding a place to take my photos too. On the day of the shoot, she was warm and inviting. She allowed me to warm up while she warmed up with her shots. I felt comfortable in front of her and her camera (let's face it, it's tough sometimes!). With "...and fake laugh" prompts, they turned out to be real laughs! Finally, the photos. They are stunning. Her lighting and the angles in which she took her photos really made the photos pop and gave me exactly what I wanted for my website, social media and business.
