We have consistently been delighted with all their services. The staff is friendly to us and caring to our dogs. The Webcams allow us to watch our dogs while they're at Cedar Run, which we love. The dogs are each in a pack all day (not kenneled most of the time, as some providers do), always very well supervised, and the premises are clean inside and out. We also receive a "Report Card" after each visit with pictures of our guys and commentary about their stay. We can't say enough good things about Cedar Run and very highly recommend them.

Butterscotch has pancreatitis and this so called veterinary didn't prescribe any antibiotics or pain meds. My sister sent me a picture of Butterscotch and I could tell she was sick, and I'm not even a vet, but I have compassion for animals. My sister left 2 messages to the vet to call her. No response. I had a phone conversation with her, and I was talking and she thought it was funny. I asked her what was so funny, maybe the veterinary board would like to know. After that, she wasn't laughing at my conversation. Butterscotch has an appointment with another vet tomorrow, soon as she could get in and I hope this vet takes Butterscotch's illness, more seriously. Update: Butterscotch saw a different vet and she has stomach cancer. Big difference between pancreatitis and stomach cancer. 6 days later after her visit with Streeper, she's too weak for surgery. Shameful!!!!! RIP Butterscotch

I called way more times than I will admit and I was greeted with kindness every time. The owner kept up communication with me as she did struggle the first couple of days. His wife and kids came in to give her meds, love, playtime, and lots of cuddles. By day 3, she was back to her wild baby self. Animal Care Hospital got me in within just a day or two. Everyone was pleasant and I got what I needed. The second time, there was some miscommunication about some charges for wellness exams that weren't disclosed on the reminder email/cards and weren't disclosed when I made the appointment or during the appointment. I was upset about it when I checked out and let my displeasure be known when I got their "How did we do?" email a couple days later. But the owner contacted me personally and made it right. He was so kind and considerate despite my very frustrated email to them and the fact that I missed the first voicemail he sent because my phone crapped out and had to be reset. I didn't get it until two weeks later and felt terrible about it. I like leaving great reviews for great service because I think good experiences go unnoticed and unacknowledged most of the time. So even though the second office visit wasn't like the first, I still must give them credit, especially on the owner level, for being considerate, etc. So if you're looking for a good vet and need prompt service, call them. I would just make sure you clarify when wellness exams are needed and ask for the information upfront when you make the appointment.

My lab Samantha has had two cancer surgeries performed by Dr. Hickey and she is still here at 13 and doing quite well. I also want to say that the techs and the front desk people are fantastic. When you find a good Doctor you stick with them.
