Was in Chicago for over night trip and had to bring home some souvenirs. The store offers a large variety and definitely worth the trip.

We needed last minute souvenirs and we searched Love Chicago store at a Schaumburg Illinois mall. They have everything that a souvenir shop has and a little cheaper. Go here for souvenirs! Chicago is a Huge and Amazing city....and for some reason we are rated very high for tourism. If you're visiting Chicago you want a place to buy some souvenirs to take home. I live in Chicago near Woodfield, but we are buying Chicago souvenirs for family and decided to get it from Love Chicago in Woodfield Mall. Decent store! They have a good selection of Chicago items and t-shirts. There was a deal on shirts.... I think 2 for $20, so that helped. read more

At first I thought this store might be shut down because on a Saturday well after the mall was open (after 11 am) it was still locked, plus a sign in the window said Help Wanted. But when we went by later the place was in fact open, and crammed with people...more than the single register could handle, so there was a bit of a wait to check out. You will find every kind of Chicago shirt you could hope for here (and I'm sorry but contrary to one prominently-displayed design, no one here calls Chicago "The Go"...), as well as sports themed stuff, posters, magnets, postcards, a bunch of Al Capone-themed items, toys, and more. Some prices were reasonable, some were wacky, but overall probably better than a store in the airport. I picked up a magnet for a gift basket I am making, but the wait was annoying to buy one thing. They definitely need a second register for as crowded as this place was on a weekend. read more

Souvenir shop in the Woodfield Mall for all things Chicago! Magnets, hats, jerseys, flasks, plates - you name it they have it with "Chicago" blazoned on there somewhere. Shop is kinda tiny and compact so you have to pay attention where you are and where you are going. I went to Woodfield Mall for the 1st time in many months, for 1 reason...to get some Chicago items for a classroom project. In the middle of the afternoon on a Friday, their doors are closed. There is a sign posted "Be back in 30 minutes", which didn't give me any idea when they'd actually return. A woman looked out from the back room more than once, saw me standing at the door, and ignored me. I called the store multiple times hoping to get an idea about when they'd reopen, but no one answered. I gave up, & went to the customer service area, but there was no one at the counter. I called the mall management office, also no answer. GEE, IF ANYONE IS WONDERING WHY PEOPLE ARE SHOPPING MORE ONLINE, MY EXASPERATING EXPERIENCE TODAY IS A BIG CLUE! read more

Small place in the mall, and yeah everybody knows souvenirs are pricy, but they have some cool stuff, from which caught my eye as I walked past this place. Since I like potography, I spotted a book about Chicago then and now. So I went in to pick it up. Kinda a small place, filled to the brim with Chicago paraphenalia, thwere was a gentleman with short red hair talking to 4-5 people about some of the nicer places in Chicago (which I found ironic that this place was i Schaumburg) I listend for a few minutes and one of the other sales staff asked me if I wanted to purchase the book. I was looking through it leaning towards getting it until the same red hair guy (which I found out was a manager) told the lady give him 15 percent off on that. Bonus. So friendly staff, informed which I think is more important, and it was a pleasant enviroment. Located in the Mall and easy to find. read more

Cute little souvenir shop. Prices are as one would expect. I have to compliment the cashier. He was super friendly...struck up a conversation and made a most excellent Chicago eatery suggestion. Thanks to MAF (user ID on my receipt), we were able to finish out our family Chicago vacation with an excellent meal. Small store packed with great gifts! I have a charm bracelet with landmarks of every place I visit. So I got myself a silver John Hancock bracelet charm. They had a Water tower, Navy Pier Ferris Wheel, and a Chicago hotdog. The ladies were very helpful and dug out a couple of charms from the storage area. So unique! read more
