It's pretty good still for an indoor mall. There's are quite a few places my teens like to go which is good. I do think the food court is alright, I like that they've added the bubble tea and stand donuts, but I think it could use some other options because there are like 4 ramen/teriyaki type places. Also, I think it would be nice to add some other stores that are trending. More teen clothing options. Primary, holster, American eagle, all good. The value it primary is the best by far. read more

I am not sure why I never wrote a review, but I have been shopping at Woodfield for years. The anchor stores are Nordstrom, Macy's, JCPenney and Primark . I don't go often, but when I do there are new stores or stores moved into new locations. There are the usual standards, Apple, Uniqlo and Sephora. They recently remodeled the center and the look is modern and clean. They have a large food court with a variety of choices. They have Stan's Donuts, Chipotle and Blaze Pizza. There is plenty of parking, and usually a spot can be secured. It has been around for over 50 years, and hope they continue. read more

I visited Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, IL, many times growing up, but I rarely go to that mall these days due to it being far away from me. This is one of my favorite malls because it practically has everything from high-end to affordable stores. Enterrium is a really cool addition to the mall, along with Primark. The Primark is HUGE, definitely way bigger than the Chicago downtown location for sure. You could literally spend the whole day or weekend at this mall because there's so much to shop and do. I definitely want to start going back to this mall more often. read more

This is the best mall in Illinois! They've added many designer stores like Kendra Scott, Timberland, Northern Face, Lacoste and Psycho Bunny! Great sales right now in every store too. Selection is vast and has something for everyone! Super clean even when it's busy. Food court has Stan's Donuts, Popeyes, Chipotle, Philly Steaks, Chinese, Bobba you name it! Don't forget to pick up a bag of Garrett's popcorn too! Walking the mall is easy and for walkers it opens early to get your 2.3 miles of steps in. read more

This mall is great! I'd never been here until the other day and I'm in love. So many shopping options, and I didn't realize how many floors there are. The food court has some really great food options too, I was impressed. The bathrooms could use some more routine maintenance though. read more

Worst mall I've ever been to. Went to a couple different stores and every single employee was rude and disrespectful. It was so off putting that my family and I decided we weren't going to be treated that way. We ended up leaving and going to a better mall to spend our money. I'm thinking that a lot of customers were being treated the same way because most of the people walking around weren't carrying any bags. I'm happy to never go to that mall again. The massive and sprawling shopping center hosting nearly everything across multiple levels is an easy family trip. This is largest mall in Illinois! There's plenty of parking, easy access right off major roads, and at least a couple stores for everyone. I enjoyed a quick mid Friday visit and found quiet empty floors with only a friendly Josh promoting Nature.org, tried Hollister, noticed a candy store full of pink, and recalled old days with my parents and sisters wondering around when the mall was the best local vacation. read more

Wow! Coming from Wisconsin, this mall is nothing like what we have over here. The outlets at pleasant prairie have nothing on this place. Gurnee mills lacks in comparison. It's three stories with plenty of hallways to go down looking at all the different stores. They have a food court and other small vendors by the stores. They also have organizations in the floor that were spreading awareness for special olympics and nature conservation. Those workers were very kind and easy to talk to. The lots of the stuff I saw were about $30 or more. read more

Your mall layout is insane if you're new there. The levels are inconsistent and have little thought when the public is concerned. The map that shows all the stores listed probably can't even be figured out even by a nasa scientist ‍. Your food court is tucked away and hard to find! I had a very hard time finding places and it took me longer than I expected because of poor layout and map design!! Map designs should have a you are here point so you know where your at and the levels should be easy to find from any map with user friendly signs. People are there for ease and convenience. If your mall makes it hard to navigate and get to the stores you need to go, then the only thing on my mind is where is my car. read more

The mall has a lot of different selections, there is an over abundance of these Japanese/Chinese/Korean? Stores with lots of expensive toys. They were all fun to look at, but I came here to look for clothes. Didn't really find much in that way, but I did get a great pair of Dr. Martin boots. I was happy to see that they had a store there. Not much has changed about this mall, and stores have been updated and consistent with business. They have a selection of your usual mall restaurants, such as Texas de Brazil, P.F. Woodfield... whew. I haven't been to Woodfield in well over five years, and I honestly don't think I've ever walked through the whole thing--when I would go it was a targeted mission. Malls are terrible and I can't believe these were such a staple of the American experience. Woodfield is the largest mall in the state and one of the largest in the country. One thing I will say for it is that while there are lots of malls that have big gaping holes or whatever, this one always has seemed to have a high occupancy rate. They have some new stores since I was last here, including Primark and Radio Flyer (the Radio Flyer store is fantastic, particularly if you have kids). The place I've actually visited more than anywhere else is the Improv comedy club in Woodfield. A comedy club in a mall?? Yep, and it's excellent. I've seen several comedians here and it's always been a great time. The food is actually pretty good as well, so it's an excellent option for a date night. Parking is... well, it's a mall. There's lots of space but there will be times when you'll wonder why you decided to torture yourself (particularly around the holidays). Nordstrom still has curbside pickup, so if you're going there with a specific store in mind and are not really interested in going anywhere else, you may want to see if curbside is an option with them, too. read more

Building management needs to stop the constant sales associates from popping out of stores with sales pitches. It is so very annoying. My husband and I walk and eat lunch 3x a week at this mall. Please stop the harassment of customers! Especially the vendors who are in the kiosks. read more

Horrible manager.. the entire store smelled like marijuana! Manager is very unprofessional.. I bought a dress that I tried on in the store back three days after purchasing.. the dress had silk lining on the inside and had deodorant from me trying it on. The man at the register and the manager put on this big production saying they would not be able to put this back in their store because it was sweat on the inside.!! I told them I wouldn't wear a dress and return it and then it could happen to anybody when trying on this type of material. They were so rude and wouldn't even listen to me. I'm 50 years old and wouldn't wear a dress and return it.!! so now I will spend my time making sure everyone knows about this store and how awful their staff is, it's not about the money to me. It's about principle. I even the company and got no response than it's up to the manager to make those decisions to me. They're running a criminal business. They knew exactly what they were doing. I bought a dress for New Year's Eve and I didn't wear it and wanted to return it it's a business for them and these two men shouldn't tell me about a women's body and how we sweat when we try clothes on. The manager should spend more time worrying about his staff smoking marijuana while on the job then being rude to his women customers. When I left the store not only did he go online and make it so I couldn't exchange the dress anywhere else. Everything else I purchased he also put on the website that I couldn't return it. I am taking further action on this, but I will never go in that store again and I will make sure that everyone else knows about these people and this manager. read more

Woodfield Mall is a mainstay in the Chicago area and I have been going here since I was a child. This mall has changed many times but despite its many changes, Woodfield Mall has remained a favorite. From its department stores like Macy's and Nordstroms to its food court to its many specialty stores, Woodfield Mall offers something for everyone. I was worried when Sears closed its doors, but two new stores have filled the space left by Sears. My latest visit started in Macy's and a few other places in the mall. I was able to find some Christmas gifts and a few things for myself. Who knows what I'll find the next time I go. I highly recommend Woodfield Mall! read more

There was a facility named dry goods in this mall, and the surface was horrible The workers were inadequately, talking bad about my daughter and her friends for leaving dresses in the fitting room. They whispered right in front of their faces to other workers if the dresses were at least hung up, which they were. This is horrible customer service and I'd like to speak to the manager when I get to that store again. Even if the dresses were on the floor, it shouldn't have been a problem because the facility should've been clean. read more

This is a great mall! They always have cool events or pop ups happening, they have all the stores I love going to and you're getting a work out while you shop so that's a plus food places are all good. It does get crowded but not to the point where you are just standing around waiting for people to move, the foot traffic flows great. They have a WIDE selection of so many great stores and all the staff working in the stores are all nice, even the ones working those little kiosks. If you have small kids it's best to use a stroller/wagon because it really is a lot of walking. Parking isn't an issue. read more

While it has some good stores it also has crap stores. It has WAY TOO LITTLE seating. They have many places to put comfortable seating that would allow folks to take a rest but they deliberately choose not to offer seating except in too few places. This mall gets too crowded especially in cold and bad weather. The highway access into the area is horribly designed and executed. read more

Haven't been to this place in many years, and it has changed! I was so excited to see a Primark, which I haven't seen since London and it was so exciting. The mall was hopping on a Friday night people everywhere. This was very refreshing to see lots of shopping options, nice clean amenities and great layout. I can't wait to go back! read more

Woodfield Mall is still THE Mall in Chicagoland. It's 52 years old now and has held up well. It's pretty much survived the Covid Era and the trend to online shopping. Even today there are but a few vacancies in this gigantic mall. There does seem to be more turnover of businesses than in the past, so the brick-and-mortar mall business isn't a breeze. But there always appears another business willing to give it a go. I still enjoy doing my comfortable mall walking here and occasional shopping with the wife, but only on the quiet weekdays. I really don't know how busy the weekends are here anymore and I don't want to find out either. The mall is still anchored by Macy's, JC Penney, and Nordstrom. The food court is pretty large and vibrant. May business success continue for Woodfield Mall. read more

Has the best workers there so kind and the stores are amazing and huge. This is my favorite mall and would go every single day. It's near Chicago IL and the mall is so huge. This is a good mall to hang, eat, and window shop. You won't find too many high end clothing brands here. You'll have to look at the Fashion Outlet in Rosemont. This one has a lot of casual clothing and of course teenage brands. Parking is always a nightmare on the weekends, you'll have to park far away from the entrance then walk over. Food court has a good amount of selection as well as restaurants nearby. Layout can be confusing, ramps going in all directions. Seating can be a hit or miss when you're walking around. Too many tweens and teens would rather sit in the chair, staring at their phones for hours vs living in reality. read more

Do not recommend this mall for Santa photos. Manager of Cherry Hill is disorganized, and lacks customer service. You will be penalized for arriving late for reservations that are paid in advanced, and be told to wait in the general public line (for 2 hours), which mind you general public line is not committed to purchasing photos because it is walk in. 12/7/25 12pm the Manager on duty for Santa Photo (brunette ) and the worker (blonde) were being very inconsiderate and ignored our reservation request and sent us to walk up. The manager saying "if we left earlier, like I did" mind you we did and it was horrible snow conditions. But her response to not fixing our situation was very rude. If we had reservations they need to still allow it. They let someone in at 12:30 with reservations at 12 pm! But we got denied our reservation entry. I've coming here for 5 yrs and no where on the Cherry Hill website did it say there' would be penalties for late reservations. The manager acts above her pay rate for the Santa Experience. read more

It looks like a good deal; stores alive with customers and people all over the place. Of course, it's the Holiday season too... I like the fact the mall maximizes the space allowed ie the seating outside of the stores are arranged away from the flow of traffic, etc. Also, kudos to the mall for seemingly keeping its relevance where lesser malls have been closing countrywide for a minute now. Huge Mall - still packed with fine stores, and beautiful even just to walk around in. ***HOWEVER.....*** ** The amount of "solicitors" (VERY push salespeople) - both at kiosks and even SOME store locations - is a turn off. They obviously work on commission and are just doing their jobs, but it can border on obnoxious. I took a hand-cream sample from one guy, and it turned into an almost 10-minute sales pitch for something where I didn't even know what he was selling. I told him from the get-go I was on my way out (actually the truth) and I wasn't buying anything, but he still kept pushing the product. Finally, I told him I had to go, thanks-but-no-thanks, and he looked angry and beside himself. A few other locations, solicitors were actually "yelling at people" from a distance, even after being told no. One guy (again handing out some kind of sample) tried following me about 50 feet down the walk-ramp. VERY UNCOMFORTING. Mall management needs to get these locations into a meeting to STOP being so pushy with mall shoppers. If the shoppers stop at the locations and are interested in that product or store, that is one thing. Accosting and chasing people down (and almost holding them hostage) is something different. ** read more
