And it is not cheap, but most of the items are high quality; a few items are priced reasonably; and quite a few pieces are on the eclectic and artistic side. All very nice. I would easily give this store four or five stars but at times they have issues with people of color, specifically Black people, shopping there. The third time I was there the clerk followed me around that small space (it is so small she could see me by just standing in one place and pivoting). She behaved as if I was going to steal something, and it was obvious and certainly not customer friendly. Her attitude suggested that she didn't think I could afford anything in the store, and she even rattled off the prices out loud so I would know how much an item was--all for the other patrons to hear as well. She didn't know I had spent $500 during my first visit; and $300 on my second visit (these amounts are miniscule compared to what a lot of women spend in this store). Imagine her surprise and then immediate deference when I bought a $750 leather jacket and a few other items. Then when her computer found that I was a repeat customer she lavished me with false praise. However, since then I have not gone back to shop there. Life is much too precious to spend hard earned money at stores where you are treated like they don't want you there; stores that hire people with deep-seated racial biases or they simply condone such behavior among the other customers or the staff. It is a shame though, I really liked this store. But these days I only go and spend money where all people are treated with genuine respect.

The shop has a variety of items preloved from contemporary to high end designer. I took my time to browse the clothes, shoes, bags, scarves and belts. As I picked out items, a friendly lady offered to take some items to a dressing room for me. That was helpful because it allowed me to free up my hands and arms to continue to sift through the items. I scored a couple pieces that I found. I was told they get new pieces daily. I look forward to going back as a regular customer.

I discovered Duckpin Consignment when I was looking to unload some highend handbags and shoes I no longer used. While the staff reviewed my items, I had time to explore the three floors and was so impressed with how the shop was curated and the condition of the offerings. They have clothing, shoes, sunglasses, handbags, belts and jewelry. The inventory is extensive and they are particular with what they accept for consignment, they review condition on all items so a lot of the stuff is very gently used, almost new. A great place to treat yourself to something nice!

The shop is located in the heart of Glyndon next-door to a delicious candy store and has decent parking. I was immediately greeted by the shop's friendly dog though was completely ignored by the other staff. I overheard the other custoners receiving warm greetings and thought when they left the shop, perhaps staff would be more solicitous. However, I wasn't assisted for at least 15 minutes after the other guests left. It's pretty surprising in the customer service industry. When it came to trying on an item, the staff just pointed at the dressing room and said "over there." One staff member, presumably the owner, did provide information about the polish ceramic items after I'd been pursuing for a while. Overall, this shop has a nice assortment of items and is pleasantly appointed, though could improve in customer service.

While the store was not crowded on this weekday afternoon, we could barely scavenger any customer service. Even once a salesperson was assigned to work with us, she did not offer much in terms of insights or attentiveness. About a half hour in, our sales rep was replaced with someone else (I get it, employees gotta eat) but our momentary joy of having renewed luck at better service became a hollow, fleeting hope. The best part of this would-be shopping trip was learning that TPYC can take your idea and design around it for less than traditionally found in the big brand heavy-hitters. Definitely a nice touch but a semi-useless feature without attentive staff to help get those creative juices flowing. Shoppers come to brick-and-mortar establishments to get advice from field experts who have had much more experience in card design than your average member of the public. This we definitely did not find at TPYC and, after an hour of poking around albums, the dream team left with little to show for their efforts.
