The premarital work we did with him 6 months prior to our big day made our day [and our relationship] that more special. By the time our wedding day rolled around Thomas knew us extremely well and was able to officiate the wedding with a level of comfort and professionalism that we will always look back on with awe. Thomas was amazing! The moment we met him (interviewing him) we knew he was the counselor for us. He is real, honest, and kind. We were looking for someone who could talk about real life issues and situations that might come up and Thomas always had a great example to help explain the best way to work through those issues. Our favorite quote from him is "This issue will always be existent in your marriage and it's how you communicate and work through it that will keep your marriage together and successful." Those words were so comforting because it isn't about changing someone, it's about loving them for who they are and how to work through issues. Every marriage will have issues and people are stubborn and stuck in their ways (especially us), and Thomas helps your recognize when those issues fester up and create a way to work through them. Thomas provides you with tools for a successful marriage, they are simple and help you communicate better with other, and honestly that's what it's all about... Communication!!!! Thomas will walk you through a detailed personality test called the Birkman Method. It's goal is to define leading behaviors and perform a personality assessment of an individual. At first we felt apprehensive, but when we sat down with him to go over the results we learned a LOT about ourselves and each other. Well I loved it! We learned so much and from time to time we reflect on our results when we are making decisions and working through issues. It really helps you understand who your partner is and why he/she is the way they are. You think you know now, but wait till you get your results, it's mind blowing! Throughout our counseling (about 8 sessions) we both felt comfortable with Thomas. He was easy to talk to and a fantastic listener. We are thankful for Thomas and the words of wisdom he gave us. Our coordinator, Jamie, was a LIFESAVER. No exaggeration. There's no way my husband and I could…read morehave had the wedding of our dreams without her help, coordination, and management. Even though we paid for just the last month and day-of coordination, Jamie was available anytime with vendor suggestions and advice. I used her suggestions for florists and linens, and both vendors were favorites at my wedding! Whenever I was stressed about something, I knew she was just a call, text, or email away. She was always prompt and super helpful. On the days leading up to the wedding and the actual day, Jamie showed us just how necessary it is to have a coordinator. She stayed on top of vendors, created a master timeline for all of the wedding party and our parents, stayed at the church/reception hall while vendors set up, organized all deliveries, cut the cake, cleaned up post-party, and solved many a would-be crisis on the actual wedding day with poise. I got sick for an hour after overheating in my dress, which was totally embarrassing, and Jamie made me feel calm and kept my groom informed without drawing attention to our guests that I was missing. I knew that our party was in safe hands with Jamie at the helm. After the wedding, she has still kept everything under control! Our priest didn't sign our marriage license because he had to leave unexpectedly, and she coordinated with him, the church, and my mother-in-law to get everything signed Sunday and ready to go while we're on our honeymoon. We didn't even have to ask! Brides, take it from me and hire a wedding coordinator for your big day. Enjoy the last moments with your family and don't stress about vendor drop-off, set-up, and any mishaps that may happen the day-of. Jamie was worth every penny and more for her services! Piper met with the parents of the bride and the hotel owner HOURS before bride walked down the aisle and Piper didn't say a word (didn't introduce herself or even say hello). Horrible representation as a business owner. For these prices - like are you insane... Wedding planner went over budget and messed up names on invitations and gave NO remedy for this. Further, we asked for a refund / some sort of compensation for the chaos that was Madeline bailing on the wedding and sending someone whose job could have been better done by a 4 year old -- NO response, we sent several emails and nothing - EXTREMELY unprofessional and we are super upset.
