I used her services for 2 sessions, my family Christmas photos and my youngest son 1st birthday pictures. Both sessions were a wonderful experience. The Christmas mini session were taken on the beach. I was fortunate that someone cancelled their time slot so I landed with the sunset in our photos. The Christmas session was such a steal. It was a 20 minute session for $30. It included a CD with 5-10 images (we got 10). Aubrae also provided different Christmas backdrops to take pictures with. The images were edited 4 ways and we own the photo rights to it so we could print it anywhere we wanted to. I decided to go with Shutterfly.com to purchase my Christmas cards. The 2nd session was so much fun. For this session my son wore 3 outfits. My favorite one out of the 3 was the cake smash photos as I am a self proclaimed dessert addict. I celebrated each month of my child's existence with some sort of dessert. For almost a year my baby has been subjected to some kind of dessert being shoved in his face and then eaten by everyone except him. My baby demolished the cake. Well some ended up on his thighs, on his head, on his feet, you get the picture. Aubrae was up for anything and she was very accommodating. She had several birthday signs on hand. A few that she had hand made herself, I used 2 of them. The 2nd session lasted for over an hour. My sons photo session happened on Saturday and Aubrae handed our edited pictures on a DVD on Monday. Her turn around for the completed project is amazing! It cost $75. I was guaranteed 15 enhanced digital photos in 5 edited styles on a CD with printing rights. The session time that she scheduled resulted in the lighting being absolutely gorgeous. She was so helpful in directing our family on poses and she knew how to capture each of our children's personalities. She really took her time with us and the resulting portraits are the best we've ever had taken. She's great at making you feel relaxed and the results are photos with genuinely happy expressions. Beyond her technical skill and artistic talent, she genuinely loves and understands others and it shows in her work. About 10 years ago, Katie also took family Christmas photos for us. We had a very disagreeable two year old and she not only was able to help him sit still, she got him to smile. Leanne was professional, funny, helpful, interesting. She had great ideas and was 100% open to any ideas we had. She let us be ridiculous, and serious. She laughed with us when we laughed. She made us feel comfortable immediately. You know, she's just starting out so her prices are cheap. But, in my opinion, she should already be charging a lot more.
