Hands down very reasonably priced items as well as being nice quality for a thrift store. Love their dollar tent out back.

Ask the Community - Loved Twice Thrift Boutique

Do they buy clothes or just sell?

Hi Linda, Loved Twice takes in donations of clothing that are then either sold at the store or shared with local churches' clothing closets. We do not purchase clothes. Thanks for your question!

There was no tag so i asked a price and the lady helping said $40 I said that's too expensive and that I'd go somewhere else because I know there's one for cheaper at a different thrift store. She bumped it down to $25 so I said sure. I paid. Waited 30 MINUTES watching workers with empty trollies passing me multiple times, so I asked ANOTHER worker. Finally a man brings one and starts loading it and that's when I'm told "oh you gotta bring your car around to the back and I can't lift it into the car" I WISH SOMEONE TOLD ME BEFORE HAND. So I drove to what I thought the back was, and then walked around to the front again because no one was there. I asked a worker and started to state my concerns. SHE CUTA ME OFF, TURNS AROUND AND LEAVES. And I see the man again. That's when they tell me "oh you gotta take the side street to get to the back back" So I walk all the way back to my car and I pull up. I am extremely frustrated at this point for how they're treating me and the horrible communication. So I show that frustration. I start loading my desk in the car and then the guy is holding onto it as if I didn't pay and is forcing himself trying to help me. I told him MULTIPLE TIMES "stop, I got this" "you said it yourself it's against policy. You make me do all this and NOW you decide to -help-???" "Leave me alone! LEAVE ME ALONE!" I had to hit his fingers to get him to let go. I'm telling them they have shit communication and have horrible customer service. Waiting half an hour to be forgotten about and having to remind them that "hey. I'm still here.... I said I was ready..... I've been waiting over 30 minutes" I usually don't get upset like this until I'm pushed beyond breaking point. Never going here again! Edit: I will NEVER give you guys another chance and I'll be warning everyone I talk to about this location and to steer clear. F you guys and your team

We had heard they don't have fitting rooms, so we wore leggings and tank tops so we could try on over our clothes, which there are mirrors and racks around for you to do. It is a little tricky to know what something like a dress will look like with your clothes on under. The clothes are organized by style and color, and I will say the staff is on top of everything staying clean, it's not as chaotic as similar stores. Things are mostly under the wrong size, through. What turned me off the most wasn't the selection, but the fact that they are charging $30-$40 for items with giant holes or that are covered in stains. I would say 70%+ of the items were damaged, a lot of it irreparable. Even if a dress was originally $200 and you're selling it for $40, it's not a deal if the zipper is broken, there is ink splattered all over it, or there is a hole the size of my head in it. It was just a little disappointing to get excited about something and then find something was wrong with it with almost every item I selected.

Throughout the store there wasn't that many employees outside of the cashiers so there is not much to say about the service outside of check out which went smoothly.

They are a favorite place to stop on First Fridays, when I can hardly get in the door! And the stream of new and fun fashions and accessories is non-stop. Service is friendly and personal, too. Still one of my favorite stops. This is like shopping in a dear friend's great closet. Although the store is tiny, the variety always surprises me, and the service can't be beat. I find interesting items I find nowhere else, and while their prices are consistent with other stores, their sale items make them more affordable. There is even a comfortable place to sit! I have purchased tops, purses, outerwear, scarves, jewelry, and other items. Easy to miss since it is north of Casa Bonita and before the train tracks, up a couple of stairs. But with such a uniquely-vintage location and terrific items and service, it is worth the extra steps. Easy parking right in front, or in the copious parking lots around the corner on Lake Street. No I do not work for them - I am just a huge fan and want to be sure they stay in town!

I've given this store TONS of business over the past few years & used to love it & always spoke…read morevery highly of it. But the last couple of times I've shopped at CTS, the cashiers randomly picked items that they decided "weren't priced right" and refused to sell them, telling me they would be repriced (i.e.higher) the next day & that I could come back for them. What?!?! The first time, it was a large bowl that the cashier said someone had changed tags on & she went in to tell me they've been having"issues" with that lately...she even unsuccessfully tried to peel one tag off the other. I really question whether such an "issue" exists...I mean, I understand tag switching can be an issue in retail, but who randomly switches tags and then leaves the items on the shelves for other people to buy?! My guess is that whoever tags their items made some sort of mistake and placed a 2nd tag directly over the first...I couldn't even tell there were two tags when I put the bowl in my cart. Funny enough, when I returned the next day AT OPENING, the bowl miraculously was no longer in the store. Hmmmmm! The other was tonight when I brought up several items including a sewing kit/box that was priced at $5.95. She rang up everything else in my order, and then when she got to the sewing kit, she looked it over with great interest then said it was priced too low & refused to sell it! Given that their pricing structure is usually 25% of what you'd expect to pay retail, and a new sewing box of this type on Amazon is $20, the ticketed price was right in line, but NOPE...clerk-lady said it would be repriced the next day and that I could come back for it. Ummm yeah right...wanna bet she is going to take it home for herself?! Not honoring their tagged prices is such a an odd and unfortunate way to do business, especially with some of their most loyal (and lucrative) customers. :-/
