Brittany is incredibly generous with her services - she has great value for the quality of the work. She is skilled at airbrushing and she includes individual lashes, which I think is amazing and really is her going out of her way for her clients. You can tell she really cares about her work. My hair came out exactly like the photo I showed her, too. She's also very easy to chat with, and we had a great conversation as she worked. Thank you Brittany! Before I rave about her glam skills I would like to acknowledge her amazing energy. She is the person you want around during this crazy and hectic time. She was calm and organized even when going back and forth from mine and my brides' room. Our hair and makeup was on point! She replicated the looks we wanted to the T. Our hair and makeup lasted all night and looked beautiful. The products she uses are high quality. She knew how to handle my oily skin and my makeup looked perfect all night. We had done a trial a few months before and she was flexible in coming to our cabin house, she even accommodated our friend getting a trial last minute. The pictures speak for themselves. Where shall I start ?…read more Searching process : I had 18 months to plan my 2015 wedding and so I held back on searching for any vendors for a while but did some research here and there. I was actually recommend to Vanessa by my videographer. They did a shoot together one time. At first, I hesitate because I'm more like a tomboy and knew nothing about makeup. What's contour? What's with all these brushes ? And so anyways, I try going on a cheaper route by making MAC makeup or even nordstrom makeup stands just to try out. I had no luck in that because I was getting married around prom season. When I got referred to Vanessa, I look through her profile. It made me feel more at ease. I actually love her work especially with the bold colors she uses. And so I gave it a try. I messaged Vanessa and next thing you know, my bridal makeup trial was in a few weeks. Day of trial : Honestly, this place was a bit hard to find but glad someone on yelp took a picture of the building or else I would had made her wait. Vanessa was nice enough to let me know she ran to get some coffee and ask if I want some, I said no thank you. She arrived and we started to talk so she can get a feel about her bride. I honestly wanted to try more hairstyle but I was out of ideas, so Vanessa combine both of the hairstyle I wanted into one. I feel in love with it. She made me look like a doll. I would have never thought of using pink lipstick. I would of stuck with my natural lip color. The trial went so well, I actually use it for my engagement photos. The photos came out beautiful. Day of wedding, Vanessa and her assistant came early the day of my wedding. I was taking my nap while she and her assistant worked on my bridesmaids. Each bridesmaid had different hairstyle ideas, and when it came down to actually using it on them, it didn't work and so the team did something that was more suited for them. All of my girls came out beautiful. And for me, I love it. Even though a few family members thought the makeup and hair made me look a little older but it was my day. I love it. My fiance at the time (husband now) said he didn't recognize me. I think he fell for me all over again. Vanessa stayed with me until my ceremony ended. She touched my makeup more than 2 times. And I look great. I could not thank her enough. Her work is amazing. I totally would recommend her to anyone who is getting married. She is an awesome woman. Thank you again!!!!

She styled it so the hair framed my face which was a nice touch :) She also did an ombre on my sister which was very good, considering it was a last minute decision! She's also very accommodating, since she had an another appt at 3, but my sister's last minute decision made her go over a little bit. Make sure you honor your appts and arrive promptly !! Location can be a little hard to find since its in a basement sort of section. However, inside is clean and lighting is bright. Prices are reasonable for the work she does :)

I went to Vanessa C. for a bridal trial, and we instantly clicked. She listened to my vision and gave me her honest opinion on what curls would last longer and look the best. To be honest getting my hair/makeup done for the wedding was not really a priority of mine, since I was being ultra budget-conscious (had even been tempted to do my own hair/makeup or somehow work a MAC counter or Sephora visit into my day-of timeline..) but decided I'd need the help of a professional or two to look my absolute best for one of the most-special days of my life. During the trial we tried on a few hairstyles and a couple different makeup looks (based off of things I'd found on pinterest and wedding blogs), but on the day of I actually ended up going in a slightly different direction with the hair because it was so hot and decided to put it up rather than keep it down. Future Brides: Do NOT Trust Them with your wedding hair or make up…read more I feel terrible writing this, but I feel an obligation to warn other women so they aren't left heartbroken on their wedding day. I booked this team for my bridal hair and makeup, and they specifically instructed me to wait until three weeks before the wedding to do my hair trial. I followed their directions, and the results were so disappointing I actually cried. My Experience: Beyond the poor quality of work, I was shocked by how I was treated. Throughout the process, I was made to feel like I wasn't a bride about to have the biggest day of my life. There was no sense of care, professionalism, or understanding of the importance of the occasion. It felt as though my concerns were a nuisance, and my expectations for my own wedding day were beneath them. The Red Flags: Zero Flexibility: When I asked how the trial worked if I didn't like the look, they told me they could only "tweak" it slightly, not fully change it. They tried two styles that absolutely did not work, and when I told them I wouldn't wear either, their solution was for me to send "inspiration photos" and they would just try a brand-new style on the actual wedding day. Subpar Quality: The makeup look was incredibly low-effort and definitely not bridal material. Neither the hair nor the makeup met the standard of what a bride should look like on her wedding day. The Timeline Trap: Waiting until the 3-week mark leaves you completely cornered if things go wrong, which feels entirely intentional. The Outcome: I am so incredibly thankful I did not trust them to wing it on my wedding day. I scrambled, found a new hair stylist with less than three weeks to go, and my new stylist made my hair look absolutely amazing. Please learn from my experience: Do not wait until 3 weeks before your wedding to do a trial with them, and be very careful before trusting them with your big day.
