We have had the pleasure of working with most, and they are all kind and attentive to the students, but also very good at correcting and redirecting negative behavior. They respect the kids and make them feel loved and safe. My kids adore their teachers and so do we. Also the teachers are really good at honoring your requests (e.g. put on hats during outside time, change outfits during the day, apply cream at diaper change, etc.) - The new owner runs a tight ship and she cares about her business, teachers and the families they serve. We have found her to be respectful, reasonable and fair (for example, when they had to close the center due to power outages during winter storms, they adjusted their spring calendar to instead offer us care for a few of their spring professional development days). She is also always looking to improve her center and actively seeks feedback from parents. - They have a structured and detailed curriculum and do fun and educational activities with the kids every day. - I think they have pretty good hand-washing policy in the classrooms because kids don't get sick as often as they used to. -The food they provide is not gourmet, but definitely much better than the food offered at many other chain schools. They offer fresh, fruit twice daily and the food they serve is a mix of fresh, frozen and canned ingredients. The amount of sugar, carbs and processed food they offer is not too much in my opinion. They make most of the meals on site and they look and smells good. - This is a new SafariKid location and the building is newly renovated. So, naturally the toys, carpets, walls, etc. areclean and fresh. - The app they use is good and they share fun and detailed information about the kid's day and activity and you get to see pictures/short videos of them. Also, teachers are usually pretty quick in responding to you on the app if you post questions or requests. - They take the kids outside twice a day most days, and they have a covered area for when it is raining. - injuries and incidents are reported in a timely manner and with necessary details. - They offer sibling discount. - They have parent-teacher conferences twice a year to hear about how your kid is doing in class, and they have family activities planned for holidays and other occasions (e.g. Mother's day, Christmas, Easter, etc.) where you can interact with teachers and see your kids classroom Minor cons/notes: - I think this center is relatively expensive, and they require you to pay 1 month worth of tuition upfront upon enrollment. They also have a few misc. other fees (supply fee, registration fee, etc.). - They are closed most holidays and several days for professional development, Christmas-new year break, etc. This makes sense given that they are technically a preschool, but it's an adjustment if you are used to a daycare that is open every day. - Sometimes teachers forget to enter all the diaper changes/potty in the app. So, you won't necessarily know exactly how many times your kid pooped, for example. Not a huge deal, but sometimes this information is helpful when you are dealing with constipation, etc. - The outdoor space they have is not super green (no trees or greenery, just wood chips and toys). Also, the toddler outdoor space doesn't have much shade in the afternoon during the summer time, so the kids had to play in the scorching heat. - I think their hours are from 8am-5:30pm, and they don't serve breakfast (only morning snack is at 10am), so not great for those occasional days when you need to get a head start on your day or need some extra time at the end of the day. Again, this is in line with them being a pre-school, but it is something to consider. - They have a policy that drop off/pick up happens at the door and a chaperone takes your kid to and from the class. We were worried that our kids would freak out and it would be difficult to convince them to leave us at the door. This has not been the case and I feel like drop offs are now much faster and easier than before. In fact, our boys are always happy to go to their class and sometimes they go in without saying bye to us! It may be a bigger issue for kids that are younger and/or are new to the care. Also, I feel like the main con of this policy is that is reduces the chances you have to casually talk to the teacher about your kid, and getting to know the teacher. It feels a bit like you are isolated from the kids/teachers and you don't get to see the classroom and the space they spend their days. You are technically allowed to walk in when your child is in their care, but the door is always locked and it is clear that they do not expect you to come in under normal circumstances.

They do NOT care about your kid or their needs, only your $. They never listen to parents, will lie & gaslight you. It's so toxic. They play favorites! But don't you dare call them on it, they get defensive & hostile. They give stale snacks & whatever is on sale which is typically just oranges. They keep the rooms cold to not use $ for heating. Nothing is ever cleaned and your kid will come home sick every week! Not sure how they pass inspections or licensing. Teachers are unhappy, you can see it on their face. Some of the classrooms are like a chaotic zoo. No structure, no discipline. My kid was so happy to leave she made me promise to never take her back. That's how bad it is. Stay away. All the other local schools are 100x better & cheaper!! Wish I could give 0 star. Oh and the owner is absentee. Never ever responds to emails or even knows you or your child. I saw her maybe 3x total in 1.5 years and she never even looked up from her laptop to give a welcoming smile. But once they misplaced my email and she was finally emailing me. Surprise surprise when she wants her $ she will magically become available. Btw they had misplaced my check and were trying to charge me a late fee even though I paid 4 days in advance!!

Especially for Kindergarten. We wanted and needed a full day Kindy and there wasn't one available at our local public school at that time. She was really ready, she was already reading and doing some math. Princess got Mandarin classes,music, sign language, soccer instruction, basketball, handwriting practice, all kinds of exposure to various media... the teachers were mostly fabulous,the playground was good, and we felt it was clean and safe if not a bit stuck up. ( sorry, but true). All in all it was a good experience. She would tell you she liked the Pre-K and kindergarten parts fine, but after first grade they "treated (her) like a baby" and she did not like that part. We didn't bring her back for the summer after 2nd grade, although we could have. We also found out after the fact that some of their snacks were less than desirable. Um, Twinkies? really? But, I have to reiterate, safe and for the most part, very good. She and her friends from Goddard liked one of their teachers so much that they talked him up in First Grade and the First Grade teacher invited him to come to their class and read the class a story and hang out with them. That was pretty special. How often does that happen, really? and the kids STILL talk about him and his visit. Sweet.

This is one of the few/only schools that allow you to monitor your children which is a huge plus. The school is closed off and feels very secure. In comparison to all of the other schools it is also the most affordable. They are very open to communicating with us and accommodating whatever needs. The location in the Bethany village is really nice as well as there are so many other children's activities around. My son also loves playing in their outdoor area which is nice and spacious.

Within a week, he cried every morning at drop-off and expressed fear about nap time and the teacher who greeted him in the mornings. One day, my son shared that this teacher had hit him on the bottom during nap time because he wasn't napping.This alarmed us greatly, and we immediately withdrew him from the school. Looking back, this explained his earlier reluctance and frequent complaints about nap time. Unfortunately, this teacher has sent us text message and email threatening legal action. We strongly believe no child should ever feel unsafe or mistreated in their learning environment.This preschool may not be equipped to handle high-energy children. While we hope no child or parent experiences what we did, we recommend that parents carefully research and trust their instincts before enrolling their child in any program. He told me, "The teacher hit my butt" and explained it was because he "wasn't napping." When I asked if it hurt, he replied, "No, it didn't hurt." Sometime soon after, he demonstrated by lightly spanking himself and saying, "Like this." My wife and I have never used physical discipline at home, so seeing him replicate this action was deeply concerning. While the school denied any wrongdoing, we believe this indicated the use of corporal punishment, even if it did not cause physical harm. Out of caution, we immediately stopped sending our child to the school. In January 2025, we received written communications from the school demanding that a Google review we did not write be removed. The communication threatened a defamation lawsuit if it was not taken down. This legal threat, combined with the initial incident, reinforced our discomfort with how the school handled the situation. I'm sharing these details so other parents can make an informed decision and discuss discipline methods thoroughly with any prospective preschool. While some families may not have concerns, our experience left us uneasy. We believe it's important to explain why we felt the need to leave, and we hope this helps others who are considering this school. -- Additional Thoughts for Other Families -- I am sharing this to help other parents make informed decisions. After posting my original review, the school responded in a way that raised further concerns for me. Specifically, they stated that my child needed special services, which is inaccurate--he was never determined to need such services, nor did he qualify for them. Additionally, their response references my wife in connection to this review, even though she did not author it. If she chooses to share her own perspective, that is her decision, but I believe responses should remain specific to the reviewer. Some of the wording in their reply also conveys a meaning that may not accurately reflect key facts.
