After my phone screen separated from the base and only displayed a flickering green light, I sent out requests for a quote to multiple companies in the area. Vlad was the only one to reply in the same day. He gave me a price range and ended up charging the highest price quoted, but he had my phone fixed within 30 minutes of bringing it in (with no appointment needed) and even gave me a new screen protector, as mine was completely shattered. I can't say for certain if the price was low, moderate or high, as I've never had to have a phone repaired before, but I spoke to friends who paid more at a shop in Jantzen Beach for the same service, so there's that. I highly recommend!!! I went here to fix my camera that stopped working after I dropped my phone. He did a great job and worked super fast. I originally went somewhere closer to where I live (I'm not located in pdx) and they said they replaced the battery and camera but still could not get it working and suggested I put in a claim through my insurance. However, I have much too high of a deductible. So not an option. I called pdx iPhone repair and Vlad said he would diagnose the problem for free. He was able to replace the camera (again after the other place supposedly replaced it) and get the camera and flashlight working again. He said it wasn't just the camera that was broken but another pet that made the camera work. Thankful he didn't just replace the camera and call it done, but he actually worked to see what else was the problem. He did this all under 30 minutes. And he charged me a reasonable price and what was comparative to other places I called around. I cracked my iPhone back camera lens. Apple only showed two authorized repair outlets in my area: Best Buy and Apple themselves. Tried Best Buy first, made a repair appointment. Got to the appointment only to be told that they didn't have spare lenses in stock and in order to request one, I'd have to leave my phone with them for several days. In 2022 that is absolutely absurd. Then I went to Apple. Unfortunately my Applecare had lapsed on this phone. They wouldn't replace the lens by itself, the only service they offered was to replace the entire back of the phone, even though the rest of the back of the phone was flawless. They wanted $600 for this service. I literally could have walked out the door with a new phone for $600 and thrown my current one in the trash. No thanks. Decided to try my luck with local repair places. Reached out to three through Yelp. Vlad at PDX iPhone Repair replied within moments. The price was remarkably low.
