We went to a fundraising event here recently. The event itself was wonderful. Unfortunately, the evening was ruined by the clueless staff of this facility. It was a December evening, that started out fine. The food was OK and about halfway through the evening as the staff begin clearing the tables they opened all the back doors to the venue And left them open for the rest of the evening. The evening was 32°. Needless to say the draft from the open doors quickly filled the room and nobody picked up on the fact that everybody was running for their coats and sat there huddled freezing, trying to enjoy the evening while the event/facility staff walked about with the doors wide open. this is not the first time we've been to an event here, but will always think twice before attending another one. read more

This is the second event we have attended and while we recognize the iconic restaurant, the Barn is the most uncomfortable venue I have been in. Cement floor, fold out chairs and absolutely freezing. Not only was it cold, but for some reason the vinyl sides were up about 18" and the back doors were wide open. The evening temp was 34 degrees and everyone at our table eventually got their coats. This was a nice event and everyone was dressed to the nines for it. Hate to say it but if this event is there again, we will probably just mail in a donation and pass on the event. read more

I have to say that I really enjoyed their food and this wedding venue. Loveless Cafe to me is a bit overrated, but they know how to set up a great wedding. My friends got married here and I enjoyed the buffet style offerings that we dined on. The food was replaced soon after it was concluded and refilled as necessary. I enjoyed the drinks and I enjoyed the venue as a whole. If you're looking to get married at an outside venue - their outside set up is nice, too. Check it out. read more

My friend's wedding was held here recently, and it was one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever attended. It was the perfect rustic, barn style wedding. The Loveless Barn is a very intimate space, and I believe my friends had about 300 guests, but it didn't feel at all crowded. The only con I could think of is during the cocktail hour, it felt slightly awkward as they tried to cram all of the guests on one side of the outdoor area so the staff could set the space up for dinner. Outside of this, I found the wedding to be very well organized, and super well executed. The transition from the wedding ceremony to the set up for dinner was seamless. It was a lovely space, and the Loveless Cafe also catered for the wedding, which was a huge perk because their food is absolutely amazing. read more

What a classy barn! (And no, I never anticipated composing those words into a sentence.) Behind one of Nashville's beloved cafes, sits the Loveless Barn. Designed to accommodate larger events + serving the deliciousness the Cafe cooks up = success! I had the pleasure of attending a benefit dinner and concert, and the acoustics were surprisingly great. Wonderful stage lighting too. The barn can accomodate lots of folks, but still maintains a cozy feel. Very inviting. The dinner definitely tasted great, but the food was rather cold. This was very surprising to me since I was seated in the front - one of the first tables to be served. One star lost. This is a great place to hold an event, with additional areas to setup up a buffet style dinner if you so wish, as well as ample parking. read more

Genuinely one of the greatest Nashville Wedding and Event venues! Also incredible catering!

The only thing I can say is wow! Loveless Barn did an amazing job on our daughter's wedding. Fabulous food, attentive staff and a can do attitude. We were to have the ceremony in the courtyard, however we got rain... no worries... the staff moved the ceremony inside in less than 15 minutes and we were able to prepare to do the ceremony inside. Then, a thunderstorm came through and knocked out the power in the barn and for the surrounding area... now what??? Matt and Ashley swung into action... and the ceremony took place in a silent, peaceful barn with a gentle breeze blowing through the open barn doors and the setting sun lighting the ceremony. I wish we would've thought of doing it that way! With the power out, the Loveless Barn staff moved heaven and earth to get the buffet ready on two small generators... got the DJ going and the string lights lit when the power came back on. The staff is worth their weight in gold and we will recommend them to anyone who would listen. They were key in turning what could've been a disaster into a wonderful memory that will last a lifetime for our daughter and new son-in-law... and give them a story to tell their children and grandchildren. You can't do any better than the Loveless Barn! read more

First off, bring cash. If you don't, your experience may consist of being charged 20% extra to purchase a ticket, and as far as I could tell you will also not be able to purchase booze as everything was a cash bar. I'd advise also poking your head in the door to see if you're going to get seating if that sort of thing appeals to you. I paid 20% extra for a ticket to sit on the floor after my legs got too tired to stand any more. Finally a bench on the side opened up and I was able to sit and hear the performance, but seeing it was a bit out of the question until a tour group got up and left. My experience, not so hot. When there was music, the acoustics were pretty decent, but not exceptionally so, I mostly heard the people on the side decks who were screaming to people 2 feet from them. This was made worse when the staff opened the closed garage-doors and the music was in danger of being drowned out. Space was pretty great, the crowd was just plain odd as a mix of hipster and Florida tourist, not entirely sure what the vibe was, but it was not a music-loving crowd or an ambiance crowd. Quite odd. I was lucky enough to attend the Sparkle and Twang event last Friday and really enjoyed this venue. I had never been to the Loveless "campus" of businesses but the size and layout of the Loveless Barn is fantastic. The stage and room had great acoustics while the band Lunabelles performed and the space was charming and beautiful. I would definitely suggest this space if you are planning a music event, wedding, or other special occasion. TIP: Ample parking in the back! read more

It's hard to put into words what a fantastic experience I had here. It cost like 5-10 dollars to sit in a warm, comfortable, open barn full of enthusiastic, excited people and watch a radio show being recorded. I was introduced to the music of Sam Bush there last time and it changed my damn life. I never knew the mandolin could blow my mind. I can't believe the caliber of live music coming out of this place mid-week and how much fun it is to sit back, eat some fresh popcorn, nurse a stiff drink, and enjoy world class musicians and songwriters from mere feet away. What a great, great, great time. Leagues above the radio show going on at the Opry. Music City Roots is for people who truly give a shit about music- not pop music loving tourists going out to witness a spectacle. This is the best few bucks you'll spend anywhere near Nashville and my only regret is not knowing about Music City Roots until like 2 weeks before I moved away. read more

Loveless Barn in Bellevue area is a great concert venue on the grounds of the famous Loveless Cafe. Upcoming music like country, rock, bluegrass and more will be featured. The good sounds of Steeldrivers and Donna the Buffalo are typical gigs. I recently enjoyed the down-home Rascal Flatts at a benefit here. Three hundred to 900 folks can enjoy the music in the Loveless Barn, depending on the setup. It is also available for wedding receptions, reunions and other large events. read more

The venue is very pleasing to the eyes, however the people working there are just plain rude. The two women standing behind the bar never smiled and when you approached them it seemed like you were the root cause of all the problems in their life. I worked in a restaurant for 5 years and always tip generously, however this is first time in my life I refused. The main lady in charge of the event, I was at (wish I caught her name) was a moron. It was an open bar event, however my flask was confiscated without warning, no signage, or language anywhere saying outside beverages were prohibited. I guess the only exception to that rule was the person paying for the event, because they continued to have theirs all night. Thanks for turning a happy event into solemn affair. read more

Our Rehearsal Dinner was held in the Harpeth Room at the Loveless Cafe. The Harpeth Room can accommodate groups of 20 - 75 people for an intimate setting for a team meeting, luncheon, birthday party, baby shower, or even a small wedding. From the first meeting to the day of our event, Jennifer K. made our night an effortless breeze. The space comfortably sat 60 guests at long tables, private bathrooms, and easily handicap accessible. Before the dinner, we knew exactly what to expect due to Jennifer's email communications regarding updates/changes to the menu, beverages, music, table/bar/room layout, etc. I would highly recommend the Harpeth Room and the team at Loveless for your next event! read more

We've been here for several functions. The food is great (and bad for you) . Service is always excellent. All of the events we've attended at the barn ends up being very difficult to see what is happening on stage. They have plenty of stage lighting, they just choose not to use it. read more
