Visited The Factory at Franklin recently, and it's amazing to see how much it has changed over the last couple of years. When I first came about two years ago, it was still in its early stages with construction going on and shops just starting to open. Now, it's completely transformed. The entire place feels beautifully renovated, with a huge variety of restaurants and shops all under one roof. It has become a great spot to walk around, explore, and spend time. I checked out several places during my visit, including Two Hands, Hattie B's, Five Daughters Bakery, and a coffee shop, and the overall experience was fantastic. It's now a great place to hang out, whether you're going for food, shopping, or just to explore. Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to! read more

Awesome shopping/entertainment district in Franklin! Lots of kids running around mid-day on a summer Friday. Cool gift shops and lots of great looking restaurants. There's a theatre for live theatre and another one for live music! Sweeney Todd coming up. Tons of food/snack options. Not quite enough shopping to warrant so many food options, though. Clean bathrooms with lots of stalls. My one qualm is the crazy parking. The parking lot was very full and very busy. So much so, they offer valet parking. Just something to consider if you think you're going to make a quick, easy stop into one of the restaurants. read more

The Factory at Franklin has always held a special place in my heart because I grew up coming here, so it is really meaningful to see how it has evolved over time. There is definitely a shift happening as it becomes more modern, with updated spaces and new businesses moving in, but it still manages to hold onto the charm that made it so special in the first place. What I appreciate most is that some of the longtime staples are still there. Places like the pottery studio, the record shop, and Nashville Custom Clothing give it that nostalgic, creative feel that reminds me of what it used to be. Those spots really ground the space and keep its original character alive. At the same time, the newer additions bring a fresh energy that makes it feel relevant and exciting again. It is a different experience than it was years ago, but not in a bad way, just an evolving one. It is bittersweet in the best sense. While parts of it feel more polished and modern, there are still enough of those unique, local touches to make it feel like home. I love seeing it continue to grow while still holding onto pieces of its history. read more

Our favorite spot to visit in Franklin, the Factory offers a variety of restaurants and shops to suit everyone. From ice cream and donuts to tacos and gumbo, you can find something to satisfy your appetite. Shops include a children's boutique, a thrift store, a flower cart, and several other specialty shops. They also have recently built a carousel that is sure to entertain the youngest members of your group. The hardest part of the visit is usually finding a parking spot, but they are now offering valet parking. If you are visiting in Franklin be sure to stop by the Factory. read more

Aside from being a challenge to find , I had a great visit here. I was here on 11/11/24 to grab some bbq for lunch from Edley's. This Venue has a rustic feel from outside but inside is modern and full of a variety of restaurants, a bar and some other cool spots. I hate I didn't get to spend much time looking around but what I saw impressed me. Definitely will be back soon! read more

Super cute building that used to be a stove factory and has been re-purposed into trendy boutiques and eateries! The Factory at Franklin is the perfect place to visit whether it's a daytime shopping trip or a trendy spot to hang out at during the evening! They have plenty to offer food wise from ice cream shops and bakeries to hip bars and a ramen restaurant. There's also a Hattie B's location outside of the building that I highly recommend. The shops are all super unique also. We visited quite a few that had cute home decor for the holidays, will be sure to stop by again for the different seasons. The cheese shop and made in TN stores were also nice! I love that each store is different than the next and not some typical corporate owned store that you can find in any mall. Will definitely be back to try some of the different food offerings they have as well as more shopping! read more

We going this little gem when we were driving towards historic downtown Franklin. This is the cutest Town with quaint little shops. We headed back to check out the Factory. We loved it ! We were dining at Hattie B's, and decided to walk through and see what The Facory was all about. The parking situation was a little dicey, but we did find parking. Now we understand why it was so crowded, there were so many little shops, restaurants, ice cream shops, Entertainment options available all in one place. We enjoyed live music, walking through the stores, and a delicious bowl of ice cream. I am only sorry that we didn't have time to stay and see a movie at Turner theater. read more

This is such a great shopping spot. So many eclectic shopping options. If you need a gift for a birthday or holiday this is the place to start! I could sit here and name off every shop and its amazingness, but you really need to check it out for yourself. I will shout out to CR-71. Used books and creative gifts. We tried to have lunch there today. Walked in and used their QR code to order food. Placed the order at Mojo's Tacos and it charged my card. I went to check on the order and Mojo's never got the order. Mojo's manager said they have not been on the QR Code at Factory for over a year. I feel like they should remove the restaraunt from the selection. read more

This is one of the most unique places I have ever visited! I very much enjoyed all of the different shops and places to eat. The open market feel and space felt very Brooklyn in the middle of the south. I was super happy to stumble across it. This is a great venue to see a band. I was lucky enough to see Stryper, who, after 40 years, are still amazing!! The Factory is a great place to grab a bite and/or a drink before the show. Check into Liberty Hall was fast, and everyone was so friendly. There were a couple bars at the back on either side of the stage. It was perfect for date night!! read more

The Factory at Franklin is an old stove factory built in 1929 repurposed into a retail and entertainment complex. On-site, patrons can eat, shop, drink, and watch a play/musical. There are also ball rooms/spaces for large events such as weddings, quinceañeras, corporate events, receptions, or family reunions, available for rent. I used to attend Kids on Stage every year in Franklin. At the time, the factory was our hidden get-away for shops and fun in the evenings after a day at theatre camp. It was never busy much. We were able to park on the first row in the parking lot, browse the slow paced complex, and relax. I have fond memories of walking the shops and of course, painting a new piece of pottery at Third Coast Clay every summer. The Factory has so much character and is such a pretty building. Since then, the factory has Boomed! The entire campus has received modern renovations, expansions, and additions to eating and shopping. The complex has a much more fast pace, a lot more traffic, and feels more trendy. This is the first time we could not find parking. The front and side lots were completely full, and we had to park around the back and use a side entrance. The main entrance now leads to a food hall with a variety of local restaurants and a common seating area (most restaurants also have seating inside). This allows for groups to get food from different restaurants while still eating together, or choosing one restaurant to eat in. There is also a large bar in the center of the building. New shops are open down the hall from the food, with options to shop for home decor, nashville souvenirs, soaps and lotions, clothes, and art. While the entire building has received a ginormous facelift and recent renovations, the original character of the building still remains (thank goodness). Much of the furniture and decor for the remodel contains a mid-century or retro style, keeping in touch with the building's nostalgia. It is so exciting to see how much love and care has gone into the up-keeping this building. This revitalization will allow The Factory to stay relevant and keep its doors open-- allowing for generations more to create fond memories in this historic campus. My wife and I love this industrial place shopping/dining area! So many amazing shops, but one that stuck out above the rest. "Times Past and Present" is the oldest store in the factory and it is an absolute treasure. The owner was the sweetest lady and we loved hearing the history of the store and the factory! We just about missed the store however because it is kind of off to itself. Had I not had to take a call and step off to the side; we may have missed it! So happy we found it. The Find was also a great vintage "find." Pun intended. Lunch at Hattie and also never disappoints. We love visiting the factory every trip we take to Nashville. The Factory at Franklin is a retail, food and entertainment venue that is located on Franklin Road not too far from the heart of and downtown area of Franklin itself. The Factory is one of those places where new life was breathed into an aged industrial factory, a stove factory in this case. Now instead of assembly lines and machinery, you have local retailers, handcrafted goods, coffee, sweets, pizza, tacos, clothing, juice and even a farmers market on the weekends...and you can't forget the entertainment spaces! I will admit that we thought the Factory at Franklin was more food hall than it was shopping center, so we were slightly disappointed but still enjoyed our trip. We anticipated it being a smaller Ponce City Market in Atlanta, not so much the case. And that is not a terrible thing, as it does look like they have a bit of open space left to add eateries and other shops in the future. We did hear a lot about Mojo's Tacos, which does seem to be the most popular eatery here as the line was out the door at all times! We did swing by Honest Coffee and sadly had an underwhelming visit. Outside of swinging into these spots we wondered around inside and out and were surprised with the amount of space the Factory had to offer. The shops ranged from skateboards, artwork, clothing, jewelry, local finds to souvenirs and housewares. As mentioned above, there were a few open retail spaces, so I am sure they have plans for a wider variety of retail and restaurants planned. In addition to the shopping and food, there were "entertainment" spaces that included a stage and courtyard outside and a fairly large meeting space at one end of the building. The weekend we went they were having a farmers market, however it closed fairly early around 1:00 PM. We did get there in time to wander around to most of the stalls which served up food, local goods, plants and more. We ended up with a donut and some flowers! Parking was not an issue. A few lots and spots surrounding the building. Overall, The Factory at Franklin is a cool spot and a great addition to the Franklin area. I am excited to see what spots they add in the future and as it stands, we will definitely swing back through when we find ourselves in Franklin. read more

I am so, so, so happy with the updates and improvements at The Factory! The place always seemed like it had huge potential, but that it wasn't living up to what it could be. The new owners are clearly on a mission to exceed expectations! The space has been renovated, a cool new bar has been added, new restaurants have opened, and more are on the way. The Factory is fast becoming a really great place to hang out and grab a meal or a coffee, and do a little shopping. Oh, and the renovated bathrooms are spacious and very well maintained. This factory holds so much history and it is always changing. Even now from 2023- 2024 there has been some drastic changings for the better! The inside of the main walkway now has a BEAUTIFUL bar where you can get special drinks or whatever your favorite go-to is since it is basically a FULL bar. The old Jameson Hall is now home to the Studio Tenn that can hold 300 people. The Jenis Ice Cream stand that was in the middle of the walk way now has a brick and mortar in the shops of the Factory. They just opened an Hattie B's and Otaku Ramen and still have other shops/restaurants that will come once the renovations are done. Other restaurants and shops to come: Two Hands, But we have to stay true to the OG's that have been at the Factory for a while (as long as I can remember) Stonebridge Art Gallery, Honest Coffee Roasters, Moho's Tacos, Franklin Juice Co. and, Fork of the South. Tons of parking and on Saturday's they have a massive farmer's market that you can find so many delicious goods. read more

I did not enjoy the Factory on a recent visit to Franklin. It is honestly not set up well and is very confusing for a first-time visitor. It is a massive building and it's not clear where to park and how to get in. Once inside, there is very little signage to tell you what is available to do/see. The "main hall" area has a handful of restaurants and shops but not much else of interest. Fortunately, we had already had a full day of fun on Main street in Franklin and didn't really need to do more. If we had arrived here first or planned to do this for the day, we would have been very disappointed. If you do come for the Factory, don't plan for it to take too long. read more

I'm happy that other stores and restaurants have been added since. This place gets extremely busy on the weekends...especially the coffee place. I've only been here once, but I'd love to have this type of place in Mount Juliet. Tons of clothing and gift shopping, great food options like Mojos Tacos, Franklin Juice Bar, Five Daughters Bakery, Honest Coffee and Mafiaozas pizza to name few. There's also plenty of great local shops from records to flower shops. I came here to work and just gent out to the heat. The Factory offers a lot of available open tables and seats both indoor and outdoor. The wifi isn't the best, but it's enough to answer a few emails and search the web, but I wouldn't chance any zoom meetings here. The parking here is awesome! For most places like this, parking seems to be an after thought, but there are plenty spots here with near the multiple entrances at the factory. No matter where you park, the walk up is easy! read more
