WORSE NAIL SALON. I went in for 3 pedicures and 3 gel manicure. They don't know how to paint nails. Only the lady does designs. My French manicure is embarrassing. Filled my real nails so thin they keep bending, when I asked him not to. The pedicure guy kept using the electrical file on my toes that had regular polish and I kept telling him he was hurting me and he just kept talking in his language and ignoring me. $279 later. I left crying. I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY WE MUST PAY CASH??? If WE ALL PAY TAXES they should too!!!! I'm so frustrated. Horrible place. Over priced for how old and dirty it was. 1st time visit. I think they should rename their spa pedicure as a "speedy" pedicure. spa pedi is $35+ tax. Even though it had been six weeks since my last pedi and I was overdue for a shine up, I was out of the chair in less 20 minutes. Massage was about 30 sec per foot. At most. The kicker - there was no one in front of me or waiting after me. I like a fast hand mani-fill but am used to my usual nail place taking about 40-45 minutes to deliver a relaxing pedicure, at which they also charge $35. :( read more

I am currently having the best pedicure of my life. My nail tech, Van, is funny and smart and so personable. My feet needed some TLC (hadn't had a pedicure in two months and I definitely inherited my dad's feet). She has been so focused and so thorough that my feet look and feel perfectly soft and smooth and fabulous. I chose a spunky color (THEY HAVE OVER SEVEN HUNDRED SHADES). I really wish I lived closer. Or that she traveled. Maybe I'll just keep driving out here. Come! Request her! She's the bomb. read more

Very nice service but my gel polish did not adhere at all! Not sure what they did or did not do, but what a waste of 35 dollars! This is what my nails look like 48 hours after they were done. I have done nothing that was hard on my nails. No dishes, no cleaning, just basic everyday use. So disappointed. read more

I moved back up here from Florida and have been trying to find a new nail salon. This one was alright. I tried it out based off good reviews. The good: inexpensive. This is among the less expensive places in the area. The nail tech I had was SO nice. She talked to me just the right amount, not too much, just enough to be polite. She was so pleasant to be around. I would go back just for her. I wish I would have gotten her name. Also, my nails looked absolutely beautiful. I really like how they came out. The hours of this place are also good, open later than others in the area. The not that good: this place is pretty ghetto. Prepare yourself. From the reviews, I didn't get the ghetto vibe. But once you walk in, you get it. The smell of nail polish is pretty bad in there. I usually don't notice but I did here. It seems relatively clean, could for sure be cleaner. The seats felt dirty to me, and I didn't like that the pedicure sinks didn't have the disposable things that go on them. The tv was pretty loud playing some type of murder mystery show- I prefer relaxing music, but I did get pretty into the show. They don't offer any beverages, maybe that's why it's so cheap. Wasn't the best pedicure I've had, or the worst. This place has pros and cons. For the price it seems worth it. I got just as good of a pedicure here as I would have at a more expensive place. However, you may just have to sacrifice a little relaxation. I would have given 3 stars, but the nail tech was so awesome I gave them 4. read more

I came here as a walk-in. But that's what everyone is, no appointments available. Mgr says because they're so busy, they couldn't take appointments. The first four seats were occupied with various nail jobs. There were two pedi and one mani ahead of me on the sheet. I waited in excess of 45 minutes as people who checked in after me were serviced first. There's definitely more staff available for pedicures than manis. The salon is relatively clean, with a small selection of gel polishes for my tastes. The staff spoke very little English, only to ask customers questions and were difficult to understand. Nails-a-flying! Literally while clipping someone's nails, a piece flew 5 feet and hit the lady waiting next to me. Not cool! She got up and moved. Jim did my nails which required removing a previous gel manicure. However I was not thrilled with the extent of removal done mechanically by that electronic thing. He took it all the way to the naked nail and used it to remove dead cuticles. Not professional. Plus, it got very heated at times and did not feel well. Standard removal of remaining polish using acetone, then scraping. Then more with that drill. He only used the cuticle clippers on one nail and put them back in the drawer-dirty! The polish job itself was decent, middle of the road. It wasn't as nice as some regarding edging and tips, but it's not chipped after 4 days and counting. I wasn't thrilled with their color selections, especially what was in OPI, or a lack there of. Positives, they worked around (didn't redo) the nail on a finger I recently cut, the cost is inexpensive ($30+tax), the checkout process was slick-they tell you the total at your station, take the card and bring your receipt. Overall, I will not return based on the unavoidable wait times and lack of customer service, i.e not speaking English in front of customers. read more

I thought it was a good job while I was there but upon further inspection my nails looked really bad they were not done all the way I had to fix it myself. Now a week and two days later they look like I have had them on for month. Just unhappy with this salon. read more

That place is terrible. My nail fell off 4 days after I got nails done. Then the second time I got nails done sa me thing!!! I have got my nails done for over 20 yrs and never once did my nail fall off. I moved from a different city; and this place by far is the worst I have ever came in contact with. I went in yesterday the guy told me 10 mins I waited an hour. Then they let the one girl experiment putting my tips on. I only stayed cause I'm not from around here and didn't want to keep driving around looking for nail shops. In the end someone else finished my nails but I don't like them still. Just recently moved to the area and have tried a few other local salons but Lovely Nails is by far the best I've found. Salon is very cute and clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful and usually not too long of a wait (if there even is one at all). They also have a huge selection of shellac/gel colors to choose from and prices are reasonable. so i typically never leave reviews, but going to this nail shop left such a bad taste in my mouth i have to say something. i first arrived here last thursday (3/9/17) at exactly 1pm. when i arrived, a guy asked me what service(s) i wanted - to which i replied "pedicure, acrylic soak off, & gel manicure". i also put this on their sign in sheet. after this, the same man handed me the gel color options and the pedicure price list. after looking over the price list, i decided to go with the basic pedicure which was $30 and i let that same man know this. i typically spend about an hour in the nail salon, but because i was getting my acrylic overlay soaked off, i knew it would be a bit longer. after me, like 5 people came in. i then began getting my nails soaked off. the guy (different from the first) was the one who soaked them off, and during casual convo i told him that i do not live in ohio - i live in atlanta, and was just there for work. i also told him that my flight was at 6pm and i planned on being at the airport by 4:30pm. that gave me a solid 3 hours to be serviced. once my acrylic overlay was soaked off, i was moved to another technicians table. she began my gel mani. when she was almost done, i noticed the time - it was almost 3pm (been there two hours at that point), and i mentioned to her that i hoped they had enough time to do my pedicure. she then said to me "i didn't know you wanted a pedicure, they said you only wanted a polish change". the words "polish change" never once came out of my mouth. i was very clear on their sign in sheet and with their employees that i wanted a pedicure when i first arrived. long story short, i did not get a pedicure. they kept apologizing to me, but also tried to make it seem like it was my fault. also blaming it on time - mind you i got there at 1pm, it was going on 3:30pm at this point. they just weren't accommodating and didn't really seem genuine about their f up. also, like i mentioned i went there on 3/9/17, it is now 3/16/17 - a week later and my nails are chipping so much. my nails began chipping one day after i left here. i have had a gel manicure too many times to count at this point and i am constantly working with my hands and i have NEVER had my gel polish chip until going to this nail salon. overall shitty experience. i wish it was better, because their salon set up is cute and they seem very organized with their color options and they have a lot of colors to choose from. but that is still not enough to make up for their poor service. i already had to go to my original nail salon in atlanta two days after i left this salon, to get my chipped nails fixed and they're still chipping. i honestly wish i could get my money back, because the service wasn't worth the trouble and my nails look a mess. also, i see that there hasn't been any recent reviews of this salon. i am also almost certain that ownership/management has changed since the great reviews posted years ago. read more

I can honestly say the nails them self aren't bad but this would not be my pick. I go there just for a full which is 17 dollars and 3 dollars for each mail broken , I had one broken nail , I was charged 26 dollars . I'm not sure where that adds up , I paid my friend who had no broken nails just a fill and was charged 23 dollars ? I had. new girl who hasn't really done nails by herself and I sat there for 2 hours and she asked me would I like them short I said "yes but not super short , leave a little length" they are down to my fingertips she just kept filing and when she painted them they didn't even cover the whole nail , if your going there I suggest you talk with them first because you might just as disappointed as I was. read more

My nails were filed unevenly and the gel manicure I received was rushed. The manicure looks like I could have done it at home. The man who did my nails returned several text messages during my visit making me feel very uncomfortable. It was cheap, and you definitely get what you pay for. read more
