We got manicures and opted for the head spa service not fully knowing what it was. We moved into another room. Removed our upper body clothing (and jewelry), placed them in a locker, wrapped ourselves in a towel and then shuffled back into another room. Laid down, head over the water bowl. (It was very menthol-y in there.) The head spa began with a light scalp scratch and alternated with a scalp massage. Whew! I went to another dimension. I was therapeutically paralyzed and quite relaxed. The scalp scratching and massaging went on for a while. Then came a face massage. I went into shock when the cold face mask went on but I relaxed after a few minutes. The facial massage itself was good! Then back to the hair.... she washed my hair so gently. The shampoo smelled amazing! As did the conditioner. Hair washing complete, a neck massage began and extended down my arms to my fingertips. One hour later, she was sitting me up and applying lotion to my back and massaging it in. She ushered me to the changing room and blow-dried my hair. Then she left me. :( 10/10 I'd recommend!! :)

It was a longer process but it came out better than acrylics. The powders are color so no need for polish or worry about nail color chipping off. I had to shape them to the almond style and they are a bit long for me while I work. But, I make it happen. Clean salon and I loved the kiddy chairs and especially the main pedi chairs for adults! The amber foot soaking sinks are just gorgeous! I would've rather had a pedi done, but since I have a new tattoo on my leg I didn't want to risk it. Now I just need to find a salon in Tampa that has the dipping powders. I felt bad though, my sister in law paid $18 for my nieces toenail polish. She didn't even have them clipped, all she asked for was to polish her toes. I'm pretty sure that should have cost $7 or $8 just for a kids polish.

Pedicure came out fine, but asked for gel on my nails and the lady doing my nails kept insisting I do powder dip... I'm guessing she was trying to get more money because it's more expensive. She kept stating how powder last longer, feels better, has no smell...My first and last time getting powder, I got a french tip and it came out very uneven. Constantly had to ask her to refile certain nails that were crooked. After I left the top coat of polish cracked on 1 of my nails the same day, I went back to get it fixed, in the same night another nail cracked again. It's too expensive for my nails to be cracking the same day I get it done. Would not recommend coming here to get your nails done.
