I've been coming here for years and it's been a while since I came . Went today last minute for a French gel pedicure. it was $78!!!!! and this place used to be PACKED it was so dead. And the last few times I've been in there it's been dead. I see why. the woman did a nice job but $78!?!? so with a $10 tip I paid $88 for a pedicure. I will never go there again. My first time here today since they are open on Sundays. They were busy when I arrived but we were seated right away for our mani pedi. They took good care of our toes and the foot massage was amazing! Manicure was very nice and they have a great selection of polishes. My only concern was I didn't look at the pricing when I arrived and only looked online before going.. a little more then I normally spend but for the Sunday convenience and the high quality staff I'll be back for sure read more

Went back here for the first time since shutdowns started. They are amazing! They take your temperature and have you wear gloves(while not getting a manicure). They certainly are taking precautions to keep everyone safe. They have stopped some services for now but it was well worth it to get a mani/pedi again. read more

Lovely Nails is my "go to" nail salon. They are very welcoming, caring, and most importantly very clean. Along with that-- one thing to note, they do not mix nail polishes either or dilute them either. I went to another salon, and they were diluting the nail polish right in front of me! At Lovely Nails, they have a vast array of selection of quality polishes and varieties as well. For a regular pedicure, they include exfoliation, the wonderful massage, AND hot stone massage as well. To top it off, their massage chairs are so comfortable. At the end of your pedicure when you are drying your toesies, they will even give you a little back/shoulder massage. I come out of the salon feeling like a million bucks. This place is the best kept secret around here! This is an amazing salon !! I came with my daughter who is 8 months pregnant . We both got pedicures .They were nice and caring and the massage is such a plus . They use hot stones on your legs and while your drying a nice neck massage and Also used the hot stone! This is so different than any other salon I have been to . The attention to every little Detail is amazing . The place is clean and I did not feel rushed .. I highly recommend . I left a lot more relaxed than when I first got there !!! I was expecting this place to live up to the reviews but, sadly that isn't the case. It's a very mediocre, run of the mill, neighborhood nail salon. Cost of basic mani-pedi is $37. If you want the skin on your feet buffed smooth, you know... how you'd normally get with ANY pedicure? Well, be prepared to dish out an extra $20 for what they call, "Callous treatment." I declined this "treatment" & asked the Tech if she could just go over it again with the pumice block & she actually said it "doesn't matter because I did it already." Alrighty then! The foot & leg "massage" consisted of vigorously applying lotion & well...that's it! The manicure was with a different Tech & it was just OK. I have naturally long, strong nails & I wanted them shortened a bit. Instead of clipping corner to corner, she cut them dead center, causing tons of pressure throughout the entire nail/nail bed which causes cracks, splits & pain! I think she's so used to working on artificial nails that she goes about natural nails the same way‍. The best part of the whole visit was the quick little shoulder & upper back rub I got while sitting at the dryers. Go figure! ‍ read more

I love that this nail salon has hours on a Sunday. The location of the salon is in a congested area so it helps to have some off hours to mitigate that. I got a pedicure and it was fantastic. The detail to every part of the pedicure were noticeable and appreciated. This salon has the best pedicures in the area. I usually opt for the Milk & Honey spa pedicure and it is so relaxing. Very nice little salon. They offer different types of spa pedicures ranging from $35 to $65. As well as the regular array of mani, gel mani etc. I like that all the ladies take their time. I usually only either get a mani or a gel mani. There is no rush and they are pretty thorough. The place is clean and comfy. They offer a membership that allows you to have your own tool box. At the end of every treatment, one of the ladies will give you a couple of minutes of hot stone massage. It's a nice little perk! Overall it's very nice. The reason I give it four stars vs. five is because there is inconsistency with appointment times. Every time I make one, there is still a little bit if a wait. read more

I called here on a Saturday afternoon at 4:00 PM and asked whether I could get my nails done that same day, and they gladly welcomed me! They had a great selection of gel colors, they took me to my seat right away, and one of the best, most surprising aspects of this experience was that they did a hot stone massage on my back while I was waiting for my gel polish to come off! Kelly shaped my nails perfectly (I prefer short and square) and painted them perfectly.... Also, she didn't take off too much cuticle to the point where they would bleed - they did it gently - not too much, not too little. Though I was with Kelly, I think they all probably do a great job based on what I saw. Finally, the icing on the cake for me was that if you become a member ($5 fee), you can set aside your own little manicure box tool kit so that when you come there you don't have to share tools with others. Also, you accumulate points over time and get stuff for free - e.g. free manicure, free pedicure, etc. My first time here made me a believer!! I LOVE this place!! :) read more

Wanted to try a new salon closer to home so I went to Lovely. And I won't be back! I got my nails done (full set acrylics) Wednesday late afternoon and was mostly pleased when I left (they charge if you want a shape other than square). On Friday morning, one of my nails fell right off! I don't work in a field where I would have hit my nails a lot or gotten any chemicals on them or anything like that at all. I didn't even feel it fall off so that kind of clued me in that something was wrong with them. An hour later, another nail fell off. As I started to inspect them, I noticed all my nails were gapped right at my nail bed, all about to pop off. $35 dollars for my to waste almost 2 hours of my day (she was soooo slow) and just to have them be done terribly. I did call and they told me to come in after work. When I showed up they were packed. The woman who did my nails came up, looked at my nails and I said "two fell off and these are all about to" as I showed her the gaps. She said "so you want a refund in cash?" -- at least I got my money back. Lesson learned though. I'm sticking with my usual salon even though it's further away. One of the best nail places I have been too! They do not rush through your experience, which you see so often it is frustrating. Hot stone massage after your pedicure was such a pleasant surprise and defiantly mine and my boyfriend's favorite part! All the employees are great and personable! If I am paying you extra for calluses removal treatment, please don't discuss me with your fellow co-workers! I have been coming to Lovely Nail since they opened. The ladies here are so sweet and take very good care of you. The salon is clean and up to date on all the latest colors and gel colors. You can purchase your own manicure box which holds files and buffers that only get used on you. The cost is $5.00. They have a point system where you can accumulate points for future services. I did not have an appointment, but was pleasantly surprised when I didn't have to wait (& on a Friday no less!). My nails haven't looked this good in years! Great staff and perfectionist! They do an amazing job on your nails and they give a quick hot-stone massage as well once you're done/drying. If you are looking to get designs on your nails (have a picture ready so they can copy it) they all do a good job for the most part but the youngest woman there does it the best. I have been coming here since about the time they have opened and it always a great experience. The woman there are all nice and its nicely decorated. If you are looking for a super quick spot to get your nails done, this isn't it. It's more a relaxed environment and they take their time doing it right. They once almost had my nails fully done, saw a small imperfection in one of the nails they did, so they took off all the nail polish and redid it completely so it looked great. Awesome place! Went with my best friend Tuesday afternoon to get pedicures. One girl was already there getting a manicure. We were greeted and taken care of right away. I've been a customer of Lovely Nails for over a year and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for value, good service and a wonderful massage! I get a regular gel manicure and while the cost seems more expensive here than other places, I think Lovely Nails is a better value than most because of how long the manicure will last and because of the other special added touches. It's hard for me to fit in a manicure into my busy days so I can only refresh my manicure every 3 or 4 weeks and my nails last at least 3 weeks without chipping or peeling. I think it's because of the amount of attention and care spent by these ladies. I've had the opportunity to get a manicure from almost every lady at the salon and they are all consistently very good. The salon itself is clean and well maintained. The ottomans for customer purses and the coat rack are a very nice touch, as other reviewers have mentioned. You can make a cup of tea while you wait but, to be honest, I've never waited too long. Also, for full disclosure, I'm guilty of being a habitual walk-in customer, never knowing in advance when I'll have time for an appointment, and they have always fit me in. Another nice option is the optional personal tool box you can purchase for minimal cost. This helps me feel more confident on the tools being used and allows me to just relax and enjoy my manicure! Last but not least, I absolutely love the hot stone massage! And the hot towels used before and after my manicure. That additional service makes the manicure extra special. read more

I've had manicures (regular and gel), pedicures and eyebrow waxes; all of the women that work here are skilled in all of the services provided. Pedicures end with a hot stone massage and as you sit down at the drying station, you're treated to a hot stone/massage combo on your back and shoulders. In addition to the membership deal ($5 for your own box and accumulation of points) they also offer deals for services Monday-Wednesday so it's a bit cheaper to get a mani/pedi combo. I have been going to this salon since shortly after it opened and have been very happy. Two weeks ago, my opinion was raised over the top! I was in the middle of a gel manicure when there was a power outage. I sat for an hour waiting for the power to return, and when it didn't I told Jennifer, the owner to just take off the polish and give me a regular manicure. (The gel won't dry without the special light) Instead, she came to my house with me with all the necessary supplies to complete my manicure. I couldn't believe it. She knew I was going out for a birthday dinner and wanted me to have the design polish. This was certainly above and beyond, and the sign of a successful enterpruner willing to go the extra mile to satisfy a customer! read more

Went here before my wedding with the moms and bridal party. It was a fabulous experience. Since they knew what it was for, they had wine and cookies waiting for us and a special tiara and balloon saying bride-to-be. I had no idea that was coming! Went to this place because I did not have time to drive all the way out to my normal salon. I was pleasantly surprised. The woman who did my nails took her time and did a wonderful job. Polish looked great and the acrylic was just the right thickness. I will definitely be back! I was looking forward to the hot stone massage that many other reviews talked about but I didn't receive one. Maybe next time! I definitely would recommend this place. I've been to this salon a few times, but I've finally learned my lesson to not go back. in 12/2017, I went to get a dip manicure for Christmas. It started chipping 2 days after, which is not common with dip powder manicures (they're supposed to last for 2 weeks). I went back and had them redo them, which they did free of charge. They chipped again the day after. More recently, I went in last week to get a pedi and gel manicure. The pedi was amazing and she really took her time to paint them as well as massage my feet and legs. I loved it! The gel mani however, lasted for about 10 minutes, with only drying my nails for 30 seconds between each coat. Every salon I've ever gone to for gel has your nails dry for at least 1 minute to up to 2 minutes between each coat. The nail tech also used her Dremel tool to file down my nails to a point where they were burning. My nails now feel incredibly weak. The day after the manicure, 4 of my nails started chipping. They also charge $30 for a gel manicure, when there are much better places to have them done for $20-$25 (Diva Nails, Hannah Nails, Green Tea Nails). I am disappointed and would not recommend this salon. read more
