Their product quality falls short. Unfortunately, my gel nails chipped after just four days, leaving me unable to return for repair since I'm out of state now. Waste of money. I also find their choice of using scented fabric softener hand towels for feet/ hands unpleasant. It would be beneficial if they offered fragrance-free options or at minimum, communicate to the customer what is being used, so we have the option to decline before they whip the towels out, which would accommodate those who prefer to avoid exposure to potentially harmful chemicals. read more

I brought my daughter here 3 days before her wedding so we could both get our nails done. It was a decidedly mixed experience. The young woman and man who did the pedicures were both great. However, we were getting acrylic tips and the woman who did those was quite rough when sanding the nails into shape, to the point that I had raw spots on a couple of fingertips. Much worse, however, was the fact that two of my daughter's nails BROKE, necessitating two separate trips back to get them fixed right before her wedding when she had a million other things to do. We chose acrylics specifically for their hardiness, and she was not doing anything out of the ordinary when they broke. Very disappointing. read more

2 months ago I walked into the salon. I was in the area and was ready for some pampering after receiving the vaccine. They said to return at 2pm for a manicure and pedicure. Though English is not their 1st language we did not have any difficulty communicating. They are welcoming. The ladies are very kind, they give my feet and legs a great massage which is beneficial for me as well as feels awesome! My 2nd appointment included a deluxe pedicure. Exfoliation, lotions, hot towels, extra long massage...absolutely wonderful! I request Anne or Kate only because another person I met at Hand & Stone recommended them. This place is very clean, serene, and a nice relaxing atmosphere. Kate did an amazing job. The gel mani service was quick but did not skimp on anything. Nails painted great, all dead skin gone and the best part for me was they give you a shoulders massage with a hot towel while your nails dry. AVOID THIS PLACE!!! I want to start off saying I am not one to put down other places, I work in the cosmetology industry (licensed in hair, skin, nails). I walk in asking to get acrylic, gel and a nail design. Yes I am aware that is expensive but not $72 worth (without tip included). She did stay two hours after closing time but they did not have to take me nor did I know they were closing in 30 mins b/c I was in such a rush. She did take her time but the picture I came in with was not as sharp as the job she did. I realized the next day my nail underneath was not attached on both thumbs. The fake nail she put on me was not my actual nail size. My nails look flat not curved like normal acrylic nails should lay on your finger. I walk in two days after my service asking for a reimbursement, I was very nice about it but she told me they can't reimburse me. And for a young girl spending almost $90 for a terrible job is unexceptionable . I wanted them off and my money back and they said no and that everything was MY fault. And yes I've had people criticize the way my nails looked. I will NEVER step foot in that place again. The way they handled that situation was childish and knowing they were staying after hours just to rip me off was the most horrible thing/feeling. This place is terrible. I tried this location for the first time last Saturday. My nails started chipping within 2 days after a gel manicure. She also didn't soak my nails first so when she started cutting my cuticles and skin around my nails it was dry and it hurt. It's nice that they massage so long during a pedicure. But my ankle bones were bruised the next day - she was massaging my shin bones and ankle bones more than anything (and I love deep tissue massages... Just not on my bones). Drove by this place a few times looked very clean and thought it would be affordable and full of quality, i was wrong. Emma did my gel fill ($55 for a fill, i have NEVER paid that much for a fill in my life, might as well have just gotten a new set). The very next morning i woke up and one of my nails was already off. Went in got it fixed, no charge. A few hours later another nail was off. NEVER going back there again, the price and quality of service are extremely different. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. read more

The salon is very clean and promotes a calm environment, which I like. The prices are a bit expensive: $15 for regular manicure and $20 for the OPI gel-like nail polish manicure (sans the heating lamps). I recently tried the new gel manicure (sans heating lamps) and a few days later I had some nail chipping. I like that I can walk-in and not wait a long time to have my nails done. They also have great hours. This isn't my go-to place but when I have a tight window to get a manicure done I will go here. I have also experienced their pedicures, but not recently. I so badly wish that I could write a better review. I was home for the holidays, so I got a mani/pedi with a friend over the weekend because she had a gift card. When we first got there I thought it was going to be amazing. It is very clean, offer "spa" pedicures, and more colors of nail polish than I think I have ever seen in my life. However, by the end of my treatment I was disappointed and out more money than this hack job of a "pampering" is worth. After waiting for a little while (it was busy, but we were happy to wait) we went to the pedicure chair where I put my feet in luke warm water. The girl who was doing my pedi made it hotter, but not without making it seem like it was an inconvenience. I was pretty excited that the treatment included a scrub (lemon of pomegranate) as well as a massage with what I think was mud. There was even hot stones! I know you're probably thinking why were you disappointed... well, at least 3 of my toe nails are filed unevenly and even after pointing it out they're still crooked. I decided mid pedicure to change the color of my gel manicure because the girl who did my pedicure had awesome nails. Well, I was then sent to someone else because apparently the original girl didn't do gel. Okay, fine. Again, most of the manicure was okay... except the parts where she jabbed a stone looking file into my cuticles and didn't clip them so much as pinch and pull. They don't soak your nails and instead wrap them in a warm towel in hopes that it softens them enough to remove them. She did all of the usual trimming, filing, go wash your hands stuff and I felt relaxed until other people came in and she told them to wait 10 minutes. At that point my manicure became rushed. I couldn't even enjoy the neck massage while my paraffin dried because she was rushing through it. There was no forearm massage after my nails were painted and at the end she was very abrupt "Okay, you pay now". I got to the register and she told me how much it would be and I was FLOORED! I couldn't believe it was $70 for everything. We paid, left a tip, and went on our merry way... when I realized that half of my nails are crooked, the tips of 2 felt rough, and the "cuticle clean up" was sub-par. Unfortunately, by the time I realized it the spa was closed. To top it off, 30 hours later one of my nails started peeling. Isn't gel supposed to last 2 weeks? What is also unfortunate is that we got our nails done on the last day we were in PA and now I've got a manicure that needs to be redone. For the amount of money we paid I expected a MUCH better experience. read more
