Unfortunately, those statues were hotter than the surface of the sun, the heat was abominable, so we stuck to getting gas and continuing our journey. BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE! When I went inside to pay (I don't trust pay at the pump and I also paid with cash) I saw a Dippin Dots freezer box! Those are few and far between, so I indulged in a rainbow package. It was $4.04 to enjoy this little bag of tasty goodness. My how inflation has driven up the dollar a bag days (when Popsicles were a quarter, so...) but I was not deterred. The other amenities in the store were the basic items, so there's that. Drop by. Enjoy the Sinclair Dino twins and enjoy a bag of dippin dots.

There's a big cute green dinosaur in front by the outdoor sign and tables right out front by the entrance. Walking inside it seemed very quiet with two employees standing by their registers. My son picked up two beef sticks, chips and a slice of pizza and I got a fountain drink. The store looked clean and stocked. Kind of small for a truck stop but will do. I didn't check if there were any showers inside. For those that have EBT cards, they do accept them here. We made our purchase and also got $30 in fuel on pump 4. Julie was our cashier, she was closer to the door. She didn't greet us when we came in, didn't smile, she kind of had the "get em in and get em out" attitude. We paid and left to get the gas. Outside the pump wasn't working, it read on the screen that the transaction was cancelled so my took our receipt back in and told Julie. She did something and said it should work now. She seemed rude about it. We got our fuel and left. People might want to make sure and get their receipts here to make sure they have what they pay for!

There's 2 fuel stations, signage all over the windows and stickers covering the doors to enter. We stopped here because my granddaughter had to use the restroom and we wanted food and drinks. Walking inside it looks a little run-down. They have a couple of hotboxes, then cold foods..their fountain area was a tad array with some flavors out of order. I was also a little shocked to see that their shelf items were on glass shelving. There is a section that looks like it was remodeled and is nice with coolers surrounding the walls full of drinks and a large table in the middle of the room. We got a corn dog, chicken strips, a hamburger and crispitoes with fountain drinks. Paid and I asked for their hours of operation to update this business listing. All in all it was okay stop with very friendly service.

It's one of the few quick service shops in Bricktown that we noticed open and available in the neighborhood. As soon as we walked in, the team member in the store greeted us and asked if we needed any help. We were only in the store to grab a few snacks and sodas. It was a lot cheaper at On The Run Convenience & Deli than it was to purchase snacks inside the hotel. Some of the items inside the store include the following Chips (Lays, Ruffles, Doritos, etc..), Cookies (Nabisco), etc.. Soda (Mountain Dew, Coca Cola, Pepsi products...) Ice Cream Candy Cup Ramen Dips Energy Drinks There is a Deli in the back if you were interested in a sandwich. When is the last time you had hummingbird cake, or ever? You can get a huge slab to go for a little over $3. There was carrot cake and chocolate fudge layer and guess what? They are made from scratch and boxed to go! There are Mexican sodas in a barrel full of ice by the register to drink if you don't want a fountain soda. An array of cigarettes line the wall behind the register. There are several aisles of snacks and " I need that" items. Naturally, there is beer in the far back cooler along the East wall, complete with canned and bottled soda. Outside, diesel and gas pumps stand ready to fuel your vehicle before you head out to finish your destination. Trust me, I will be back again and again on my journey to and from OKC.
